Braylsham Castle

We wanted a family evening together to remember and this property delivered! The obviously devoted planning and inspiration to develop such a peaceful setting into a ‘World of Pure Imagination’ was amazing. We sat outside eating and listening to many different species of birds singing! (Identified by the Merlin App). Wi-Fi, knights in armour, banqueting table, debates about whether the grandfather clock was vertical- or the walls, playing games together. Lovely combination of Alexa playing the right music with feeling you’d stepped back to a time before technology, truly the best of both worlds! Thank you.

The Lodge at Spring Farm Alpacas

RichardRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
Really enjoyed our week's stay including an Alpaca walk. Chris and Vicki were very helpful and full of knowledge about their Alpacas and Llamas. You could tell that they cared for each and every one of them and spoke to them in a quiet gentle voice so as not to alarm them. So quiet and peaceful especially when the Alpacas were out and we could see them from the living room and bedroom windows and when we relaxed outside sitting at the table having our breakfast. Everything you needed was there and also recommendations on where to visit. We would definitely book again and recommend. So glad we booked this special place.

Luxury 2 Bed Barn Conversion near Ashdown Forest

CharlesRating, 5 stars5 months ago
Sara has decorated and furnished this very spacious cottage with that very pleasant English feel. The double kitchen is spacious. The cosy lounge with its wood burning stove makes this place romantic and the bed is very comfortable. Beautiful place close to amenities and quite easy to find with the instructions received. I could not recommend this place and its host Sara enough.
An inviting living area features a leather armchair positioned near a brick fireplace with a wood burner. The wall is adorned with floral wallpaper, creating a quaint ambiance. A galley kitchen is visible in the background, along with a wooden table and chair set.

Former Game keepers lodge with woodburner

Sally's lodge is a piece of heaven. The photos do not do it justice so expect a lovely surprise. It fits in its environment perfectly: the old-world charm of East Sussex. It throws you back to a time when the world might have felt peaceful, genteel, smelling of wildflowers and log fire, yet, with all the mod-cons. The very best of both worlds. Sally is an attentive, reactive and kind host. I felt warmly welcomed after long day of flight delays, as if I'd come home. A home in a parallel universe where all is well. I truly did not want to go back to my home in the real world!

Meadowside, Hammonds Green Farm, Framfield

MelissaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Peaceful, well priced accommodation, hosts were friendly and helpful (as was Milo the dog!) with a meadow on site to walk my dogs on lead before their breakfast. Absence of wifi wasn't an issue for a short stay as 5G was accessible on my mobile.
