Welcome to your dream mini-house in the heart of Romsdalen. A high-standard and modern wooden house designed by architect Reiulf Ramstad. Built in 2024, this is a concept where the guests live close to nature with breathtaking views of high peaks, forests and rivers. At 3km from the centre of Åndalsnes, you are within walking distance of the best hikes, climbing sites and swimming spots of the valley. This is a unique norwegian-art-of-living-experience. Kick back and relax in this quiet, elegant space. Just 1 min away by car is also Digernes. Here you have access to several shops, bakery, burgerking etc. If you like to fish or like to take a refreshing bath, the lake is also just below, only 50 meters away. We also have a canoe that our guests can borrow! Accommodates 2 people (possibly 3); life jackets are provided. We also have a small barbecue area outside with access to a fire pit. Notholmen Island is a secluded place outside the small village of Vikan. You are at one of the most unique costal areas of Norway along the Atlantic road. Notholmen was a reception centre for fish in its early years and is now our family's paradise. We are happy to share the unique place with others when not in use. Minimum stay of three nights. Guests have access to a rowing boat. Sheets is ordered for 150 nok p/ pers.

Fjellbu at Frostadsetra is suitable for anyone who wants to stay close to nature, with little noise and good opportunities for outdoor life. In winter, there are prepared cross-country trails in the area, and randonee is also a popular activity.

We offer our cabins for rental. The main cabin has 2 bedrooms (sleeps 6), a kitchen, sitting area with fireplace and a dining area. It also has a utility room with underfloor heating and a sink to freshen up. The 2nd and smaller cabin has 3 sleeping places and a spacious bathroom.
