Beachfront vacation rentals in Fouras

Christina was a very welcoming host. She presented us very well with the different activities available nearby and in La Rochelle. The place was very nice and functional. The only downside is the number of parking spaces, which is not sufficient for the entire residence, but you can easily find some around.

Colette is very welcoming and responsive, very available. The listing is larger than it appears in the photos. Convenient accommodation (couple with 2 children) and less than 2 min walk to the beach. Châtelaillon beach is a beautiful town. Recommended!

A really perfect place for a couple who like a quiet stay. Two smallish squares offer very good local facilities and restaurants, while Carrefour local is only a one minute walk away, next to a cycle hire shop and a Pharmacy. The larger towns - La Flotte, Le Bois and ST Martin are all easily reached by the wonderful cycle paths.

Everything went well and I needed extra time to leave because of a competition and Kevin was very accommodating, thank you again. In addition, the location is great. Small quiet street but 100 m from the center and the beach.

We had a wonderful weekend in this house that perfectly met our expectations. The place was warm, well-equipped and ideal for enjoying a relaxing time between moms. Our stay was very nice. We didn't have to take the car because many things could be done easily on foot (shopping, walks, going to the ocean...) Our host was very approachable and trusted us, which made relationships easy. The area is very beautiful and there are plenty of places to explore.

Ideally located, this accommodation is perfect for discovering the Ile de Ré and its beautiful landscapes by bike (rental next door, friendly). The added bonus is the sauna. Beautiful decoration, well-equipped. Good communication with the host who gives good advice. Parking right across.

Very nice well-appointed studio with in particular the bathroom and toilet space arranged in such a way as to have privacy (quite rare in housing👍) the outdoor spaces are simply beautiful and I would say that I place the welcome among the best I have received... human, helpful, discreet and responsive at the same time... congratulations to both of you 🌞

We had a great time in this apartment in a great location, a short walk to the beach, restaurants - bars, a park and other local shops. The apartment is good quality, very nice and really clean. Comfortable bedding. In short, we would highly recommend it!

The apartment is clean and functional, in a quiet residence a short walk to the beach and the market. There is all the necessary amenities as well as a parking space and the pool with plenty of deckchairs. We were greeted by Pascale who is very friendly and accommodating for check-in and checkout. It was a great stay.

Excellent stay, I was looking for peace and quiet and that's what I got. Morgane is very responsive and this was appreciable as well as her flexibility in the context of my arrival.

The house is charming and modern, you really have everything you need for a lovely holiday. The neighborhood is quiet. The location is great, close to nice villages and towns to visit. We were lucky with the weather and were able to enjoy the nearby beaches. The presence of the washing machine was greatly appreciated. You can go there without a second thought. That's great!☺️

We have been using Airbnb for a long time but this is amongst the best places we have stayed. The location is brilliant with a private beach..,,come on! Aurelie was brilliant with great advice on local sights and restaurants Would recommend Les Viviers exceptional food. We cannot wait to come back cannot recommend highly enough. Property was quiet while we were there beautifully presented comfortable bed and super shower

Carmen is a great host, very responsive, helpful and friendly. Her place is fab, in a great location by the lagoon. As two families we enjoyed the privacy of the ensuite room with separate entrance. Having another ensuite and separate bathroom worked well for us. The main space with a little kitchen area at the back was well used too, opening out onto the terraces with ever changing views of the sea and amazing sunsets. The only issue, out of our host's control, was the bugs - mosquitoes weren't repelled by our repellent or deterred by long clothes, and the gnats and wasps were also persistent during the sunny weather. La Plage restaurant, two doors along, is welcoming for drinks and great seafood. There is an obstacle course and exercise route just along the prom for the kids as well as a baguette machine and another restaurant which rarely seemed to be open! Lidl, E Leclerc and Intermarche are within 10 mins drive. La Rochelle and Cognac within 1 hour. We would happily return.

The house is ideally located in Fouras, it is easy to park there. The city center is 15 minutes away by walking. The house is very nice, the garden too. It has charm and character. Very bright. We enjoyed the large square table in the dining room and the layout of the bedrooms: a sleeping area and a bedroom a little apart with a large bed of 160 + possibility of a baby bed. Very nice baby bed available + high chair if needed. Stephanie the concierge is very responsive and friendly. The owner too. We recommend.

We enjoyed a clean, pleasant and well-located accommodation facing the sea. We are 4 bikers who took advantage of sunny weather to visit the Iles Ré & Oléron and the surrounding area. To be repeated because there are still many places to visit. Jack, Berni, Gael, and Lolo

Great location, within walking distance of the ocean and restaurants. Free parking nearby. Small apartment very good for 2 for a weekend or a short week at the seaside. Thomas is a responsive host and the instructions are clear and complete.

Excellent accommodation, extremely well equipped, very comfortable bedding, perfectly located, both for walking in Fouras and for sightseeing, while being quiet. In short, I totally recommend this beautiful home.
