We had such a lovely stay at this beautiful home! Everything was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully prepared, making us feel comfortable and welcome. The host was kind, responsive, and cared about creating a peaceful and inviting environment. Every detail — from the well-equipped kitchen to the comfy bed — made it a truly relaxing experience. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful, homey retreat.

Easy to walk and take the metro to DC. Kelly was willing to work with us on check in/out times. The home is fresh and beautiful. the 3 bathrooms are fabulous. The pullouts/fold up beds were comfortable and convenient. A wonderful place to stay. If you are cooking- bring your own spices, foil, spray oil, ziplocks, etc. Our extended family really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay! The yard was perfect for our dog and playing with our grandson. There was plenty of water and the house met all our needs. The neighborhood was fantastic and we loved taking walks and seeing everyone else out walking their kids and dogs! Definitely will come back!!

Lee and Chrissy were great hosts. They were very responsive and addressed any issues that came up. We really felt that they cared about the quality of our stay. They recommended a taco truck nearby that we walked to on more than one occasion- it was so delicious. Also we loved the various floors of the home and the outdoor space. It was perfect for our family of 5! If you’ve had negative experiences with hosts in the past, you can rest assured you will not have those issues with Chrissy and Lee. Thank you guys for taking care of us and making sure your home felt like home to us!

Mark was a great host and I enjoyed my short respite at his location. Everything felt clean and new and was designed with thought and care. The outward facing garden was lovely to look at in the morning and while heading to bed. Thank you so much Mark for such a comfortable stay.

A quiet space with lovely garden view, just as described in the listing. The hosts were very responsive, quick to address the minor issues I had, and friendly without being intrusive. In addition to the many good points mentioned in reviews by previous guests, I especially appreciated the nightlights in the apartment and the outdoor lighting along the walkway. I hope this place is available the next time I'm in the area!

John and Adam were excellent hosts. There were very responsive to my questions and issues. I loved the grounds and very well stocked kitchen. I would gladly stay there again.

We were so happy with this basement apartment and location. Robert was very helpful and responsive. Most days we drove to the mall parking garage near the Pentagon and took the metro from Pentagon City station to the Smithsonian station (the pre-loaded $30 card available online was perfect for our stay). Driving from the unit to Arlington took mere minutes. It isn't too far from Mt. Vernon either. The neighborhood is quaint and quiet. We would stay here again! The current pictures under sell the unit. We were very happy to find it was bigger than expected. It could use a little updating, but we didn't mind. All we did was sleep, eat some breakfast, and return each night with aching feet and legs from a typical day of walking D.C.

This was our first time in Washington DC. This location is great with close access to the Capitol and surrounding monuments and museums. Elizabeth is very kind and helpful with places to go and things to do. There is a great neighborhood breakfast shop very close by and easy access to the subway and shared ride companies are easy to use at this location. The apartment is very cute, comfortable, and clean and Elizabeth provided many amenities to make our stay easy and comfortable. If we come back to visit DC, we will definitely look to stay here again! We have even recommended to our kids the next time they visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay Elizabeth!!

Quaint basement studio with ample space and very roomy. Can comfortably sleep 2-3 adults. The most beautiful backyard. Has all the amenities.

My family and I spent the weekend in Washington, D.C., and we were fortunate to find Emily's place at the last minute after our previous arrangements fell through. It was a wonderful experience, and the hosts were lovely people! The only challenge we encountered was the noise in the early hours of the day. However, I don't consider this a complaint; it's just something to keep in mind when booking a co-living space. We discussed the possibility of noise with Emily beforehand, so again, it's something to be mindful of. Overall, meeting this interesting and cool family and their dog Charlie was a good experience and an absolute pleasure!

This place could not be more perfect for our trip to DC. It was the perfect distance to the metro. Our group of 8 had so much space of our own, yet plenty of room to be together in the common spaces and not be on top of each other! We went in the coldest month of the year, so unfortunately we didn’t get to experience the best of what the outdoor areas had to offer but the views were breathtaking regardless. Melanie’s place was extremely clean and everything was provided and then some! Everyone in our group would like to go back in warmer months to spend more time outside. Before we got there, Melanie explained that there was an issue with one of the sinks in the cabins and said she would credit us accordingly. I thought that was great! It did not hinder or create a problem whatsoever! I hope we get to make it back sometime!

John was a wonderful host. His home was in pristine condition. The property was very peaceful and the land was beautiful. I’m planning to travel frequently to Virginia and this will be my first choice. Phenomenal experience!

Idalma was a very great host. Beautiful property filled with green space. There are places to go for entertainment very close by. Also is very peaceful at night! Highly recommend and will happily book again in the near future!

Such a nice off the grid spot with access to great food and restaurants within a short drive, the location was very peaceful and had one of the cleanest portable restrooms I’ve ever used.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property is beautiful and private and quiet. It was exactly as described. We look forward to coming back and staying. Location was perfect for us to enjoy area wineries and the local restaurants. We would definitely recommend this property.

It’s our second stay at Camp Maier and we are already planning to come back. As soon as we step in, we feel calmed by the view and the comfortable space. The place has had a fresh coat of paint since we were here last, and we appreciated the kitchen upgrades too. We loved pizza at Cryptic Pizza in Solomons Island and a walk with dogs at Flag Ponds nature park. Even found a small fossilized shark tooth! A magical time. Thank you.
