House vacation rentals in Fort Payne

Our family was in town for a graduation and I booked Katrina’s place for several days. I have to say, the photos are beautiful but they do not do this place justice. It was so much more beautiful in person and I was blown away. We all felt very safe in the house and the neighborhood. The house was spotlessly clean and Katrina was incredibly responsive … getting back to me right away or within a couple minutes. I cannot recommend this Airbnb highly enough!!! Truly a gem…

I was only going to be in town for a quick trip, and Jaims place was actually cheaper than a decent hotel where I was staying. It was so unique and different which I loved. It genuinely felt like I was staying a grandmas lake house. My friends and I had the best time and really enjoyed how peaceful it was. The communication was great. We messaged Jaims when a dog showed up out of nowhere and she was super responsive and helpful. 10/10 no notes! Will definitely come back again.

Great stay. Close to Jarrods Place Bike park which is perfect for MTB get-aways! Food within 10-15 min drive with great options.

We absolutely loved our stay at this property. Everything from the front porch view the cozy beds was perfect. Hopefully in the spring we will be able to come back and stay a long weekend and enjoy the property. They are fantastic with communicating. Somehow, I did not receive the email with gate / door instructions but reached out to Rohogo and they responded immediately, and this was after hours. This was defiantly a 10/10 for us!!

Cary was an amazing host — very responsive and proactive with her communication. We hosted our bridal party at the Airbnb, and it was absolutely perfect. The house is beautiful, very spacious, and extremely clean. 10/10!

Amazing place to unwind after a busy semester of teaching. Jamie’s cottage is well built, comfortable, and above all quiet. We spent restorative hours listening to the birds on the front porch with our morning coffee and lying by the neighborhood pool next door. Jamie is an excellent host in that she gives her guests space and is quick to respond if an issue arises. I would stay here again, no question

What a treasure this house was. The pictures in the listing were great but in reality it was even more impressive. The pool was clean, the house immaculate and the host was very responsive. The views of the mountains and valley at sunrise and sunset were moving. We'll stay here again as soon as possible. Thank you for a great stay.

My spouse & I took our 3 kids here for a mini vacation! It was a dream, they provided paddle boards/canoes/games. We didn’t catch any fish so bring your A game! The house was clean & homey. Will definitely plan to be back! Thanks for having us!

The groomsmen and I stayed here for my wedding weekend. There was plenty of room for all 9 of us. We played board games and hung out inside the house and on the pier. We will definitely be back for a guy’s weekend. The house was ready early, so the host let us check in early. We didn’t get a chance to use the kitchen, but it was fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, and bowls. Beds were comfortable, lake views were amazing. While you’re here check out decks and docks, 360 grill, and Jake’s on the lake. Gadsden isn’t very far away and has a lot of food options and fun things to do.

Our stay here was incredible and we were heart broken to leave! We said we easily could have stayed another week! We felt totally at home here and had everything we needed for cooking and recreation. We loved the fire pit and the kayaks 🤍 The host was generous with access to their personal belongings making it so easy to settle in here. The view is absolutely astounding and that part of the lake is so peaceful. We loved that a HUGE part of the lake around this property is very shallow but still easy to get a boat in. 2-3 feet deep. We were traveling with kids and this allowed us to rest our minds a bit around the water. We will absolutely be back here!

Amelia’s home is a serene and peaceful place in a quiet country setting, but yet not far at all to the local attractions. She provides thoughtful amenities to go along with the home’s fun decor. She is an attentive host and an excellent, responsive communicator!

We had a fantastic stay at Bear Brow Cabin! The cabin was beautiful, cozy and had a fantastic view on the Brow. Cannot recommend more, especially for a pet friendly getaway! It is convenient to downtown Mentone, DeSoto State Park & Little River Canyon. Michael was very responsive, accommodating and offered great local recommendations. We will definitely stay again!

Kristi was an amazing host. Her photos of her properties don't do the magical place justice. We stayed in the Green Dragon Inn. A Lord of the Rings inspired theme. So much care, thought, and passion went into each detail in making that space what it is. It truly is an experience all on it's own. Her property host several magical spots cater to different Fabel Realms. Kristi was a great host who is very responsive. She made sure to get us all the information to make our check in and stay enjoyable. There are several places to explore outside of the fantasy themed cottages. She offers unique scavenger hunt for the property to make sure you can truly see how much love and thought went into every detail. There is also a lovely scavenger hunt on her property to help guide you on a beautiful walk to explore. We had an amazing stay and are already planning our next trip to explore another fantastic cottage Kristi has.

This was our second stay at this house! We absolutely love this home. The water and the scenery are beautiful. The late night fire in the fire pit was amazing. Jeremy is amazing to rent from. Very flexible and always responsive! I wish I could give it greater than 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
