This review is long overdue, but Evelyn's Cottage was amazing. Originally started out as a business trip, but turned into a mini family vacation on my birthday. Christine is great. Great communicator, accomodated my VERY blended family. Being from South Carolina, this place felt like home. I would definelty recommend this place for anyone trying to get away from the hustle and bustle and to a charming antinque cottage on a farm. 5 stars for accomodations, cleanliness, responsivness and southern hospitality. Thanks Christine! Look forward to seeing you again.

We enjoyed our stay. The location is good and it is easy to get into the house. The house is fully furnished, very clean and homey. So many nice touches gives it that home feel.The couches were comfortable We had extra blankets. The beds were comfortable. The shower was great and the water hot. I recommend this place.

After was very responsive, responded quickly to an issue and fixed right away. The place had everything i needed, it was well thought out like I was at home. Located not too far from Tennessee, I was able to do activities in GA and Tennessee. Highly recommend

Sharon was extremely friendly and helpful. I noticed she had actually removed the listing availability for the night I wanted to come, so I messaged her asking if it would be OK if I booked and she responded immediately. despite her having a funeral that day, which was why she removed the availability, she worked with my schedule and had the house cleaned and ready for me by 7 PM and gave me a late check out of 5 PM two days later which was very preferred for me and very much appreciated. The house was clean and peaceful. Location was very nice but I can only imagine how beautiful it is when all the foliage is back to life.

This lake house was such a great find. It’s absolutely beautiful and so so very peaceful. My family and I will for certain be back here. The host was always friendly and very helpful. The neighbors are excellent and so so kind. The neighborhood here is very peaceful. Thank y’all for sharing your home with us. Lord willing we will be back early fall.

We had a great time at this spacious place. It was nice and quiet with good communication. If we come back to the area we would definitely stay again.

We had a a great stay at Kara’s place. We loved having a dining table and living room seating that comfortably accommodated our family. The kitchen was very well stocked which was helpful when preparing meals. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting by the fire pit; the stars were amazing!

This was the perfect stay! The home was well appointed, and all the “community” amenities kept us busy! We really felt like we were at a resort when laying by the pool overlooking the lake. I highly recommend Magnolia Overlook. There was even a wedding at the beautiful “Main House” and we would have been none the wiser if Dave hadn’t given a heads up, they were very respectful! We will be back.

An easy place to stay with kids. Jaims was a great host. The space is very welcoming. Scottsboro is very close for any groceries / easy dining out. Lake Guntersville has a lot of scenic spots to be on the water. The place will be perfect when there's a dock at the house, but was easy enough to go over to the boat ramp. Great stay to get away and shut off!

This home was perfect for a last minute need to get out of town. The basement was spacious and there was adequate bedding. The mattresses were comfortable and the home was spotless. Wish the weather had been warmer for the pool. Shane was excellent with communication and check in was super easy.

This is the second time we have stayed here with our dogs. It’s very clean, cozy, relaxing and peaceful. Everyone on staff is so kind and will go out of their way to help you with any needs you may have. I highly recommend this tiny home and we will be back!

The location was quite beautiful. The cabin was a little hard to find in the dark. But not bad at all. There were alot of things to do around the area. We hope to be back one day

This is a great cottage.

This is a great place to stay if you’re looking for peace and quiet in a cozy space. The beds were comfortable. The stream and waterfall in the backyard were the best part, in our opinion. Our main reason for visiting the area was Ruby Falls and Rock City Gardens, which were awesome! Being native Floridians it really boggles the mind! This house is about 30 minutes away from all the go to places. But it did meet our needs in providing a change of pace and scenic views while being dog friendly.

We enjoyed our two night stay very much. We're a family of 7 adults and one 9 year old. There was plenty of space for everyone. Our only complaints were that the fireplace had a lot of ash left and the andiron was broken, making it a little difficult to get the fire started. Naturally it was colder in the lower level rooms since the thermostat was for the main level and lower level but it was not a problem. The small portable heater for the bathroom downstairs should be replaced as it did not heat. The main level living room had four chairs that look like they have had lots of wear. A sofa in that room would be very nice. We were asked to put the trash in the outside trash cans but they were full when we arrived. One of us drove a pickup truck so we were able to take our trash but it could have been a problem otherwise. We felt like we had plenty of space for our group of eight and would recommend a stay at this cabin.

The shanty was so comfy and perfect for our short stay in Mentone. There is a bit of road noise in the front bedroom, but it doesn’t pick up until around 7am when I was ready to wake up and get going anyway. (I am a light sleeper, so it may not affect others.) My girls raved about the comfort of their beds and had no trouble sleeping until I woke them! This is a great little house, and Shannon was available and quick to respond.

Rhiannon was a terrific host. The property was in perfect condition and included every amenity and feature we could imagine needing. She obviously cares a great deal about having satisfied guests, including making sure we have all the information needed for a great visit, whether it's features of the property or places to go and things to do in the area. We couldn't imagine a more personable, helpful and responsive host. We'll be back!

Chris & Suzy are amazing host! The cabin is exactly as the pictures show. You can show up with clothes and food and not need anything else. They have really thought of it all. They did a great job with decorating, preparing the kitchen, bathrooms and back porch or all of your needs. I would defiantly recommend staying here! 🙂

Wow! My experience and sentiments are the same as most all others that have left reviews here. The accommodations were clean, welcoming, comfortable, quiet and filled with fun, whimsical decor. The opportunity to leisurely roam the garden made this trip one to be cherished and shared so that others can experience it. Paradise Garden at night (magical!) and during daylight (awe-mazing!). Thank You PGF for the passion to maintain this treasured space.

We stayed over the Thanksgiving holiday to celebrate. The cabin is spacious and comfortable. The beds are clean ans comfortable, as well. Tammy was very helpful and responsive. Thank you for your hospitality.

Beautiful place! My boys loved the loft bed! Fishing was good! It was everything my son wanted in a place to stay for his birthday!!
