Cozy lake front home with beach

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. There are views of a main Lake Norman channel, from almost every room in this 2000+ square foot house. Large dock, yard and fire pit. Unless the water is super high there is also a beach. Kids and adult kayaks. The 4th bedroom listed is actually the sunroom but has bunks and a pullout sofa. Great for kids. NOTE: Please acknowledge that the showers are super clean but a little outdated. The boat shown is for illustrative purposes only.

Relax in the heated/cooled sunroom or outdoor patio. 4th bedroom is a large attached suite which can be used as a nursery/toddler room, an office or an area to relax. Kate's is such a wonderful and kind host, so thoughtful and considerate. We were dealing with the passing of a very well loved family member and needed to all be together during this tough time. Kate's warm welcome and detailed, thoughtful instructions made our stay in her house so comforting. Upstairs bedrooms included the beautiful master suite, elegant bathroom and a bonus room with childrens toys and games. The main level included another bedroom and bathroom, so appreciated after long days of travel. Great, fully equipped spotlessly clean kitchen, stocked for guests with K cups & ground coffee. Kate also had a collection of toys and games for kids, toddlers and even babies in the under-the-stairs closet. But sadly we were so busy I missed seeing them until after the baby, five year old and their mamas and daddies went home. The house has a lovely backyard, lots of outdoor seating. Blooming red azaleas when were there made for beautiful family photos. Great park, short walk away.

My son and I had an excellent time staying in the downstairs unit. The location was very close to a couple marinas that provided us with wakeboarding trips and jet ski rentals. There is also a neighborhood swimming area within walking distance that was great for swimming and paddle boarding. Highly recommend. Affordable price for a couple or father/son trip and great location for exploring Lake Norman via access to marinas.

Huge 5BR Fam Friendly ~ block to Greenway trails!

The house is an older house, but nothing too concerning, mostly aesthetic. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, utensils, cookware, coffee and basic condiments. Just fyi, for those who care, the pots and pans are teflon, I choose not to use Teflon so this is why we bring our own pans for cooking. But I was pleased to see that there was a good selection stocked for our use, had we not brought our own. We have been to a couple Airbnb where they would only provide one tiny pan and pot, which is not sufficient if cooking for a family of 4 or more. The provision of extra towels was nice, and the house was nicely decorated which gave it a very cozy atmosphere. We arrived at night, so the roads were a bit dark. The cars parked out front of the house made me feel a bit uneasy about the area. But all was good, we did not experience any problems while there. I would definitely recommend this place.

I can’t say enough good things about this property and the host. The Airbnb is down a long a driveway on the perfect piece of land. It was very private, serene, and extremely beautiful!! Danielle is an incredible host. She made sure we had everything we needed and even checked on us a few times via message, which I love! Great communication, very personable, and just an all around wonderful property and experience. We had the best time and we will definitely be back!
