For hill walking, Ben Lawers and 12 munros are within a 6 mile radius. If you like fishing, salmon and trout fishing can be arranged. On request, we offer a Scottish breakfast with local jam and fresh bread. For supper we can offer game, fish or vegetarian dishes, using local produce where possible. Foulis Castle, Evanton is near the ancient burgh of Dingwall. Foulis Castle is a 15 min walk away from the Storehouse Restaurant & Farm shop, which is situated on the shore/beach of the Cromarty Firth (Mon-Sat, 9-5pm). You’ll love my place because of privacy of having your own country retreat within beautifully landscaped gardens. My place is small with one bedroom that contains either x2 singles or zip&link super-king size bed. The 3rd guest is on a roll-away mattress ideal for a child.

Ceud mille Failte is a tastefully decorated and very comfortable apartment. Bright and airy with gas central heating with well equipped kitchen. Guests have access to all Highland Club facilities such as heated indoor swimming pool, tennis court, indoor table tennis, giant chess set in the cloister gardens and of course the Club Lounge, with full size snooker table and relaxing seating area. Sorry no babies or children under 5 years old, there is too much glass in the apartment.

"Taigh na Bata" - Boat House

Shore-side house with a sandy beach just across a very quiet lane. Stunning view of Broadford Bay & Beinn na Caillich. Excellent base location for touring Skye & the surrounding area. After four great years of hosting with AirBnB within in our home, we've used the covid hiatus to transform the old croft house into a spectacular and luxurious retreat. In previous reviews, you'll see up to four guests in one room; this has been upgraded to 2 guests in the whole cottage...

The Bothy is a self-contained wooden cabin on the edge of our own woodland at West Cottage and Stables, nestling in the heart of Glen Lyon and at the beginning of many excellent walks and cycle rides. There's a double bed, extra bed, luxury bathroom, and wood burning stove. There's a hob, fridge, and everything you need to cook with, but no oven. We can put something in the oven for you up at the house if you need us to.
