Family-friendly vacation rentals in Formby

The place is beautiful and its exactly as described and the Hosts Susan and Neil were friendly and they got everything ready by the time we've got there. We had a great time at their Getaway. The Place was squeaky clean and it was welcoming peace and quite. The instructions guide provided by the hosts listed out everything we could do in the area and it made our stay stress free. The Hot Tub was ready for us and we enjoyed the night stay gazing at the stars and in the morning it was peaceful and quite; could hear the birds chirping. We also got to meet the Horses which elevated our experience staying at this place. We will definitely recommend this place and will soon be coming back in Summer.Great Hosts and Amazing Hospitality.

We had a lovely one night stay here. The hot tub was the biggest attraction and didn’t disappoint. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable and cosy. We also appreciated the restaurant recommendations and found a lovely place to eat in Lytham. Thank you!

Great place for family, host is very friendly…We enjoyed our 2 days stay, very peaceful and lovely jacuzzi. If you want a great time then this is defo the place.

It was the perfect place for our family to gather. There was lots of space and facilities both in the house and in the garden. Everyone enjoyed the games room and the hot tub ( even in chilly weather). We felt lucky to be there.

Spacious, great amenities, close to the Wintergarden and beach. clean and quiet. There are steep steps to get inside and the shoer/tub is high. Not a problem for us but would be if you have mobility issues.

Fabulous little cottage in the garden, just what we wanted. Julie was a wonderful hostess, made us feel very welcome, basic necessaties all there on arrival even fresh flowers. Already recommended to friends and family.

Hoylake is so beautiful. Clare's house is spacious and comfortable and the apartment is very comfortable and well-appointed. The nearby beaches and walks are stunning. We had a wonderful stay.

Lovely welcome hamper and stocked fridge - very much appreciated And a bathroom stocked with a multitude of toiletries Neil very friendly - and we loved the VERY subtle nod to his work near the front door!! 😊

As a first time user of AirBnB I have to say Elaine was the perfect host. Everything from start to finish was presented and exceeded our expectations. My children didn’t want to leave at the end and we particularly enjoyed the quality and location of the property. We were surprised by how close the town centre amenities were considering how quiet the location was. Also it was in just the right location for us to visit relatives, take a trip to Blackpool Pleasure Beach and to stock up on groceries from the larger superstores. In summary we would throughly recommend the propriety and Elaine as a host. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you Elaine.

We didn’t want to stay in town and needed free parking, so that’s how we chose this booking. We loved our time here! So convenient to the train, the supermarket, and laundry (washme machines), all walkable; public transport is very nearby into Liverpool. Off-street parking in the driveway was an added bonus. So much space inside and seating outside too in gardens, if weather allows (which it did). Great internet…cosy heating…tasteful apartment with lots of linens and kitchen supplies…helpful and engaging hosts! Extremely quiet neighbourhood and the apartment itself is very peaceful. Book with confidence. Go!

Calm environment in an area that’s tucked out of the way but still close to everything we needed

What an amazing place. Stunning views extremely secluded. Was a pleasure to stay there. Very rustic and a great place for the kids to explore.

Really nice peaceful quiet place to stay, Very comfortable house with all you need for a relaxing stay. Walking distance to shops bars bistros and local attractions. Loads to do in the local area and little further afield. Really clean and comfortable place to stay really cosy with great views from the private decking area at the rear. Off road parking too. I would recommend to anyone or a group visiting the area to stay here. Lorraine was really nice great communication and really accommodating.

A lovely little house in a really nice neighbourhood. Walked into Hoole within about 12-15 minutes, really good sized Sainsbury’s and some really cosy pubs, The Faulkner Pub was a real find and food to die for. Got a taxi into Chester centre for around £6.50, only a 5 minute drive away. House lovely and warm , comfortable beds and lots of wardrobe space. Most definitely would return in the future.

Beautiful space and really helpful hosts

This was one of the best stays we have had. Jean was the perfect host, went out of her way to make our stay special and the location could not have been better. It felt like we were staying in a family members home as it was just cozy and comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped and though the bathroom was in the bedroom it was not a problem ever. We were hardly there but it was lovely to know we were safe and comfortable when we were there. The space is small but you don’t notice, and the beach was gorgeous we got lucky and had amazing weather. Highly recommend Notarinni ice cream just off the South Pier. We will definitely be back. The location is peaceful and scenic, yet conveniently situated for exploring the surrounding area. Whether we were taking a stroll through the charming village or heading out to nearby attractions, The Fenns was the perfect home base. Karen’s hospitality truly made our stay special. We celebrated a 60th birthday and the house was perfect for all the family to get together. Plenty of space downstairs and a fabulous kitchen. The garden area was great and our dog loved it although we didn't make use of the bbq or pizzza oven. We all enjoyed the extensive shared space with tennis court, football nets and play area . Sue communicated well. The big challenge was finding the entrance but a phone call solved the problem and we were back in the right area. A relaxing weekend with everything we needed on site. My wife and I found the st Anne's beach apartments a welcome surprise during an extremely wet June. It's located right on the promenade, within easy walking distance of St Anne's. The ground floor unit we stayed in was bright and spacious plus well furnished and clean. Our host left us with a bottle of wine, and some delicious treats (we loved the cake) Well worth a stay, thank you Stuart!

Nick’s house was a lovely place to stay for a birthday weekend celebration! It was very tidy and had great facilities, and it was in the perfect location for us. The communication was perfect, Nick was very helpful with recommendations and easy to talk to. Never had a better host!
