Cottage vacation rentals in Forest

Het verblijf was top! We hebben genoten van de prachtige ligging aan de vakantiewoning. De woning was helemaal zoals op de foto's. De omgeving van Bornem is prachtig om te fietsen en te wandelen. De jacuzzi op het terras van de woning met uitzicht op de vijver, was zalig na een lange fietsdag. Enkel jammer dat we zelf beddegoed en handdoeken moesten voorzien. Heel erg bedankt, Tim!

Du was a superb host. super friendly. She organised a breakfast delivery personally for our first morning as it was my husbands 60th birthday. Champagne and a bread basket full of delights! We had a wonderful relaxing 3 night break. The facilities were super. Hot tub, sauna, pool. The kitchen was well equipped and like new. The bed was good quality. We slept downstairs and didnt use the up stairs apartment, but had the use of the entire retreat. I loved the African inspired decor. Very stylish. All in all, a 5☆ experience. We cannot wait to visit again.

Deze locatie is niet goedkoop, maar je krijgt waar voor je geld. Alles is op orde binnen, koffie thee, handdoeken en badjassen. Extra sleutels en aan de inrichting is veel aandacht besteed. Er is in de omgeving niet veel te doen, het is er erg rustig, daar kwamen wij ook voor.

Leuk fietsweekend gehad met de vrienden hier. Het huisje was netjes en de communicatie vlot. Zeker een aanrader

We enjoyed our stay with a group of friends! Lovely space outside and the house had everything we needed. We would book it again for our group!

Ons verblijf in 1 woord? WAUW! Wij verbleven een weekend met 3 koppels, een kleuter, een baby en 4 hondjes en het huis was absoluut perfect! Door het prachtige weer vertoefden we voornamelijk in de magnifieke, goed onderhouden en zeer grote tuin voorzien van gezellig zitmeubilair. De bedden waren reeds opgemaakt wat de aankomst extra vakantie-gevoel gaf. De badkamers, de toiletten en de keuken waren heel netjes. De sleutel was makkelijk beschikbaar via het sleutelkastje en we kregen duidelijke instructies op voorhand! Wij komen zeker terug en raden iedereen dit huis aan! Voor de hondeneigenaars: de tuin is niet helemaal afgesloten van de (zeer rustige) straat.

Super verblijf gehad. Dichtbij Antwerpen en Gent wat voor ons vooral de reden was van het verblijf. Maar toch rust om je heen als je even bij het huisje was. Onze hond heeft het ook super leuk gehad. Hij heeft lekker gespeeld met lieve hond Bo.

Wir hatten ein herrlich entspanntes Wochenende! Die Unterkunft ist perfekt um einfach abzuschalten. Der Garten und die Sauna sind ein toller Pluspunkt. Die Unterkunft ist einwandfrei gepflegt, sauber und die Küche ist toll ausgestattet. Wir kommen aus der Stadt und haben lang nicht mehr so ruhig geschlafen. Eine echte Empfehlung für die „Flucht“ aus der Stadt. :)

Wendy greeted us personally upon arrival, so we felt warm and connected to her home and surroundings at the very beginning of the stay!Her attention to little details in her home— designed beautifully with antique pieces— and garden made the stay very unique and cherished. She was especially nice with our seven-year-old child, whom she introduced to her two dogs and even her garden fish! Overall, our short stay at her place has become a highlight of our time in Belgium. Would highly recommend!

This is a 5 star place. Spacious, clean, extremely well equipped. Communication with Savina was easy and proactive. She kindly let us check out a bit later when we had car trouble. We enjoyed cooking together and evenings on the sofa, the kids could play outside and we could let them roam without worry. Comfy beds and quiet nights made for good sleep. If you come with kids you have to visit bois de rêves, great playground in the area.

Logement conforme au descriptif, Vivien est très réactif à nos demandes et elles on été assez nombreuses 😉. Place de parking privé et facile d accès. Terrasse très calme et paisible , ce séjour était une merveille. Je recommande vivement ce logement . Nelly et Christophe

We hebben een leuk en ontspannend verblijf gehad. Heel leuk en proper huisje met een prachtig uitzicht. Op zaterdagavond hebben we genoten van 2 uurtjes welness die in hetzelfde gebouw gelegen is. Propere en warme welness met de correcte uitleg van de gehost. Zeker een aanrader!

Christine welcomed us to her cottage and gave us suggestions for places to visit during our stay. The cottage is larger than we expected from the photos, beautifully renovated and well appointed with lots of little touches which make it a special place to be. We felt completely at home. The garden seating area is great for shade on sunny days and cosy on overcast days. If we are back the area we will definitely stay here again.

Das Cottage von Eric und Lut ist eine traumhafte Unterkunft, in der man an jeder Ecke den sympathischen Charakter der beiden Gastgeber entdecken kann. Man kann sich nicht vorstellen, wieviel Liebe und Herz darin steckt. Selbst die Fenster besitzen ihre eigene Geschichte. Schon der Empfang und die Gastfreundschaft von Eric und Lut haben uns vom ersten Moment an das Gefühl von Zuhause gegeben. In der Unterkunft ist bis in kleinste Detail an alles gedacht worden, selbst an Spiele für unsere Kinder. Und das Air-Hockey Match war die Kirsche auf der Torte. Die Unterkunft ist nicht nur dringend zu empfehlen. Wenn man in Belgien ist, sollte man unbedingt hier vorbeischauen. Besser geht es kaum. Ps: Die Inneneinrichtung hat einen Preis verdient.

Le logement de Nathalie se trouve en dehors du centre de Gand. En semaine un tramway très fréquent permet de s’y rendre sans aucun souci. Un peu plus difficile le week-end. Il est possible de garer sa voiture gratuitement à 100 mètres environ du logement. Un point de départ idéal aussi pour se rendre sur Bruges ou Bruxelles. Le logement est vraiment super. Accueillant, chaleureux, très bien décoré. Une petite maison avec son jardin à l’arrière. Tout est très bien pensé, propre et tout simplement beau. On a l’impression d’être chez soi. Quant à Nathalie, c’est une hôtesse chaleureuse et bienveillante. Elle vous accueille chez elle avec la plus grande gentillesse et on sent qu’elle a envie que vous soyez bien le temps de votre séjour. Sa décoration montre qu’elle a beaucoup de goût et de cœur. Fijne lokatie met veel ruimte in alle lokaties in het huis. alle voorzieningen zijn aanwezig en de hosts zijn behulpzaam mocht iets niet aanwezig zijn. Het ligt mooi landelijk. Wij hebben genoten van de tuin. Tevens op korte afstand van Pairi Daisa. (wat zeer de moeite van het bezoek waard is)

Quick 1-night stay after Pairi Diaza with 2 & 4 year old. We felt safe in this Airbnb and found it tidy. Upstairs sleeping area was more loft-like with only a wall to separate main bed from bunk beds and talking can be heard easily if guests are downstairs because there are no doors. Pros: -Close to E429 -Easy directions, cottage access, wifi access, and tv usage were used without issue -Felt refreshingly cool like air conditioning (~18°C outside) until heat kicked on in evening -All bedding and towels smelled freshly laundered -Baby high chair and baby cot were in great condition -Very comfortable memory foam beds and king(?) sized bed and comfy single bunk beds -Clean patio/outdoor space Cons: -SAFETY ISSUE: Steep stairs (almost ladder like) with unusable gate at top of stairs -Slight roadnoise from bigger vehicles -Sliding bathroom door does not provide privacy nor can it be locked, allowing door to slide 1/4 open -No kitchen scale or measuring devices for meal prep
