Charming and stylish log cabin from 1850 with modern standard in the middle of fjords and mountains on the west coast of Norway. Nearby, there is a sea of nature and local food experiences. The cabin is located in a rural area in a common yard with the farm. Great views with evening sun, patio and swimming facilities in the fjord. Possibility for electric car charging.

The old house at Solnes Farm

Part of duplex on active farm. We are the third generation to run the farm after my husband's grandparents received the farm as a wedding gift. Here you get to stay in the original farmhouse from around 1950. We live in the other part of the house. Cozy place, fully furnished and with everything you need for shorter or longer stays. We have 8 alpacas and many goats on the farm, you can join in the care on demand and if we have the opportunity in a busy everyday life as we are in full employment and have four small children.

Take a break and relax in this peaceful oasis. In this cozy cottage you live in beautiful natural surroundings. River and mountain views from the window and on the terrace. Nice trips nearby, including Vallestadfossen which is 500 meters away. Mountain trips are also nearby. Below the cabin it is possible to fish trout (small) in the river. This is free. The nearest town is Førde which is 30 minutes away. Haukedalsvatnet is about 500 m from the cabin, where you can buy a fishing license. Here is a nice place to find peace.

There are many hiking opportunities; Storehesten, Lisjehesten, Dagsturhytta Skaraly, hunting opportunities, swimming in the fjord or in mountain lakes. We rent out a house with 4 beds in quiet surroundings 15 km from Førde city. The house has its own entrance with two bedrooms, bathroom, toilet, living room and kitchen. There are sheets and towels in the house. The bedrooms are on the 2nd floor. Here is a steep staircase, but there are railings. It is an older house and it is on a farm.
