Beautiful spacious apartment on the first floor, great roof terrace, very clean. The bed was very comfortable and there were mosquito nets in front of the windows. Quiet residential area and you could park well in the street. Old town was a short walk away (20 min.) We felt very comfortable and were very nicely received by Marcella on the day of arrival. Thank you so much for such a warm and welcoming stay! From the moment we arrived, Guiseppe made us feel completely at home - meeting us in person and even helping with parking on a busy road was so kind and above and beyond. We truly appreciated all the thoughtful touches, from the treats left for us to the fresh fruit, it was a real taste of Sicilian hospitality! Guiseppe was always available and made everything feel easy and relaxed. The terrace was absolutely beautiful, especially at sunset, and the peaceful surroundings made it a perfect place to unwind. We also loved how close it was to the centre of Noto, just a short walk to great restaurants and the charming old town. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would wholeheartedly recommend staying here to anyone.

Great location to explore Ortigia. Highly recommend to stay on the island. Very comfortable well-equiped apartment. Daily street market just outside was fun and very convenient. Stayed 3 nights and Aurore's recommendations and information were really helpful. Aurore is very responsive if needed. "Waterfront" is not wrong, but not quite as suggested. Good photo marketing is balanced out by the excellent location. Advice - if arriving by car in the evening, be clear on instructions provided for parking. Google was inaccurate suggesting access to the nearest car park was not possible. Be prepared with check-in instructions and torch if arriving at night. The instructions are accurate and clear, and in daylight it is easy.

Simonetta’s place was beautiful and had all the amenities we needed. She even left us fresh fruit and local treats. Thoughtful extras like bathrobes, slippers, and beach towels made our stay even more comfortable. The apartment is conveniently located right next to the Ortigia market.

Lovely old building and a great location

This was the best flat we stayed at during our road trip around Sicily! The location was amazing, just a few minutes walk from several brilliant bars (Boats) and restaurants (Davé) in Ortigia. The flat was immaculate, brilliantly decorated and had a very large and comfy bed. Would 100% recommend!

We had a dream stay at Marinella and Davide's! The accommodation is as described, perfectly equipped, impeccable and very nice with its small outdoor garden. Close to the beaches and quiet in its quiet little street! The property to choose and remember in the province of Syracuse. Thanks, both of you. Philippe and Valerie.

Such a beautiful gem of an apartment! I would fully recommend staying here! We stayed for three nights after we’d just got married in Sicily. The apartment is beautiful and just as it looks in the pictures - the roof terrace is a real bonus! It’s absolutely stunning & a great place to laze under the sun, relaxing in the day or to have an alfresco dinner in the evening. It also overlooks ruins which is super interesting. The location of the apartment is also great - a 2-3 minute walk from the lively fish market & a variety of great restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We loved this apartment in Ortigia! Perfect location right by a cute square with lots of restaurants/shopping and the whole island is walkable. The apartment is very modern, spacious, clean and looked just like the pictures. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful apartment, with the right amount of amenities (loved the availability of an iron! ). The location is as described, in an endearing plaza with a fabulous coffee/drink shop next door. (Best cream filled croissants) We saw the picture of the staircase and yes the room is upstairs but I must say that the staircase is not steep at all! I would definitely come back since I appreciated a clean, spacious and tastefully decorated interior with all the right amenities and a great outdoor patio. Thank you to my hosts! Highly recommend.

Ortigia is by far our favorite stop on our vacation in Sicily. Anna and Santo were such wonderful hosts. Their place is in a perfect location to go all over Ortigia. We had fun navigating the small streets/walkways. Their place was so comfortable and had everything we needed. The outdoor patio is a bonus. We really appreciated their flexibility in allowing us to check in early so we could drop off our bags and begin exploring!

Very nice setting, quiet, Roberto and Erik his son are very responsive and very kind. I would recommend this place for discovering Syracuse and its surroundings.

Marta was a wonderful host - extremely responsive and helpful when we had questions. We thoroughly enjoyed this spacious, clean aapartment. Beautiful views of the sea and we loved the balcony. It was situated right next to the lively and fun market with lots of good restaurant choices. Everything was walkable on this gorgeous island of Ortygia. We would stay here again!

Great location Comfortable space

The apartment is bright, modern and very well furnished. The landlord was super nice and helpful. The center is within walking distance. Perfect starting point in all directions. The bus stop/bus station is right at the house and can be heard from the terrace. Basically, Sicily has a massive problem with garbage disposal, which is unfortunately clearly visible in some neighborhoods.

chiara was very proactive with her communication, flexible with arrival and departure times, extremely responsive when we had questions, and went above and beyond with some minor problem-solving. the kitchen is very well-appointed with tons of snacks (including homemade tiramisu!) and cooking essentials, and the balcony has a breathtaking view of pantalica. note that you may have to share common areas with other guests if they book the other bedrooms in the unit. i would definitely recommend staying here when visiting sortino!
