Heating cables in the floor in the living room, kitchen and bathroom. 13 km to Stryn city centre, to Loen 22 km. Stryn Summer Ski Center is about a 30 minutes drive away. Exceptional place! Alone at the end of the world above the fjord... one of the best views of our stay. A cute cabin built by our host. Very well equipped and very beautifully decorated. Amazing stay at Heidi’s place in Lodalen. We absolutely loved the location: the view is breathtaking, and it’s just a short drive away to the Kjenndal Glacier, Loen Skylift and other local attractions. You can also do a short walk to reach the lake. The house is perfect for a family (there were four of us total, 2 adults and 2 kids). There is plenty of room to hang out in the living area, and the kitchen is well equipped - the only thing that was missing was a freezer. Overall, it was a lovely stay, and I would certainly recommend this place to anyone wanting to spend time in the Loen valley.

Silje's cabin on their dairy farm was wonderful! The views from the cabin are nothing short of spectacular! The cabin itself was clean, roomy enough and checked the boxes for a comfy bed and good water pressure in the shower that was easy to regulate (although the enclosure was small, like most of the Airbnb's we've stayed at in Scandinavia)... The whole vibe was private and peaceful, just keep in mind it is a working farm, with the associated aromas and equipment sounds... Fairly short drives to things to see and do near Olden/Stryn... If she's available, have her give a tour of the dairy operation--fascinating and informative! We appreciated her passion for the animals and the farm... We LOVED our stay here!
