The Stable at Redsole Farm House

A peaceful retreat ideal for 2 adult guests on our small holding. Two well behaved dogs are accepted, no other animals are allowed. Ideally situated to explore the beautiful Kent countryside by foot, cycle or car. 10 mins from Channel Tunnel, 20 mins from the Port of Dover and Canterbury. 10 mins from Folkestone West Station for the high speed train to London, which takes 55 mins, and 25 mins to Ashford, and the Outlet Shopping Centre. The Stable is not suitable for babies or children.

The Cottage is a 6 min drive from the beach or a lovely 20 min walk taking in the woods along the way. St Margaret’s at Cliffe is a 10 min drive and has a lovely secluded beach with a cabin selling teas coffee bacon rolls and ice cream 🍨 and a lovely pub The Coastguard . Beachfront cottage, walk straight onto Sandgate Beach. Albion Cottage is a terraced house right on the seafront with great views over the channel. Accommodation is over 3 floors with four good size bedrooms. There are three bathrooms - two with a shower and one with a bath and shower. The house is in the village of Sandgate which has a good selection of pubs, restaurants and convenience shops. Parking is available right outside, good bus connections to both Hythe and Folkestone.

Just over an hour from London, find yourself in the heart of the English countryside with beautiful walks, the coast, and historic towns on your doorstep. Lyminge is five miles from the seaside in Hythe. It has a Chemist, Doctors' surgery, a village store, Chinese restaurant, Indian take-way, a Tea Room - which does very nice breakfasts . There are 2 good pubs nearby - the Gatekeeper in Etchinghill and the Tiger in Stowting. Dogs are welcome - one medium size or two small ones.
