Cottage vacation rentals in Folkestone

We had a blissful time at the granary and would definitely recommend this place to others. It’s a beautiful building but the grounds of Coes Farm and the added bonus of having a pool (which if you are lucky is essentially a private pool all to yourself as it was always empty when we went in) make it an amazing place to unwind and rest. The property had everything we needed, including some little ducks who came to the back door to welcome us! We would also recommend a trip to Canterbury while you are here, it is a beautiful place to visit.

Second time my friends and I stayed at Lily Loft. Again didn’t disappoint. Such a gem of a fine with rolling countryside views and peaceful surroundings. Both the inside and outside space is perfect for friends to get together and make memories. Thank you.

We had a lovely week in Plantagenet and really cannot recommend it enough; the cottage really exceeded our expectations. The garden is phenomenal. It was a private and tranquil escape and our collie thoroughly enjoyed doing laps of the large garden despite the rainy weather. We loved it from the moment we arrived and didn't want to leave. The cottage is well equipped, has a great cosy ambiance with lots of indoor and outdoor game options no matter what the weather. The communication with Tim&Maite was friendly and responsive, we particularly appreciated the slightly late check out. We are hoping to book again soon with more of our family joining us.

What a beautiful cottage! Exactly like on the photos, very charming. Surroundings are stunning, hot tub was a treat. The kitchen is very well equipped with anything you might need. Beds were comfortable and cozy. The conservatory was great to just sit and play board games and have lovely meals, was nice and warm and toastie in there and the views!! Pauline’s communication and response times were excellent, very friendly and accommodating. All I would suggest, if possible is perhaps to think of some sort of covers/shelter from the cold/wind by the hot tub. It was very windy and we still wanted to enjoy the hot tub, but it got very cold whilst inside. Some sort of coverings will work a treat. Pauline suggested some great pubs and things to do in the area. All and all my friends and I had a lovely stay. Thanks Pauline!

Excellent stay in a very well presented property. Very quiet and peaceful location but with in easy access of local amenities. Swimming pool and hot tub was a great bonus. Communication from Peter and Karen was very good. Plan to return in the future.

We stayed at Badger’s Den for the bank holiday weekend. What a great place! The grounds are beautiful and well kept, the pool and spa facilities are fantastic and the cottage itself is equipped with everything you could possibly need for a weekend away. The location is peaceful and away from everything but you are close enough to the town if you need anything. Chris is a great host and couldn’t be more helpful, on hand with great recommendations to spend the weekend. We will definitely be back again

We stayed at Nina's in the Easter holiday with our two younger children. All of us were left enchanted by her beautiful home! we would love to revisit in the near future. The living room and open plan kitchen was perfect for our family. We enjoyed eating our meals with the garden doors wide open. I must say the garden stole the show with it's spacious hot tub! It's situated in such a mesmerising location where you look out to fields. Sheep can be heard constantly- something my three year old absolutely loved! We miss the serenity of the countryside and the beautiful views from the house! Definitely worth a visit! The surrounding areas are simply superb!

Absolutely gorgeous place. Just like the photos! It was lovely and peaceful sitting outside watching the sheep grazing. Perfect location for day trips to Camber Sands and Rye and Sally was incredibly helpful with giving us recommendations for places to see and eat. A perfect and peaceful weekend with our two children. Lovely stay at Alex and Phillipa’s place very close to our son who we were visiting, the only thing my husband commented on was the pub across the road was closed at 10pm when he was looking to have a good pint of beer

Jennifer's place is truly a special place. An effortless grace pervades the house. Refined and comfortable. Elegant and rustic . Culture, class, simplicity all mixed together. Jennifer was very kind and attentive. We enjoyed our time terribly and would like to come back.

Everything from initial booking to arrival & departure was excellent. Good communications , instructions & local recommendations! Nothing to fault & lots to praise - would definitely recommend if you want a novel property in a peaceful location!!

We had a wonderful stay at Rose Cottage. Beautiful Airbnb and a great location- a few minutes from the beach and restaurants. Lovely sunny garden with furniture and a bbq. Comfortable beds. The stairs are steep but that’s called out in the description. We can’t wait to visit again!

What an amazing place to stay. The accommodation was spotless and was the perfect location to get ready for our big day. We lived every second of staying at The Old Bicycle Shop. The hosts were really proactive with instructions on how to find the place and let ourselves in and the handwritten note left was so nice. What a wonderful place with all the amenities you could need for an excellent stay. Everything we needed was there when we looked for it. The bedroom was super spacious and the bed was absolutely huge and very comfortable as were the sofas in the living area. The bathroom was lovely and the shower was very good too. Overall just the perfect place to stay and we hope to come back again.

We had a wonderful stay - it is a beautiful house in beautiful surroundings! Very well equipped, especially for travelling with infants. We would absolutely go back!

We stayed as a family in Dahlia’s beautiful cottage. It is in the absolute heart of town with everything on your doorstep. Close to the beach, shops and restaurants. Everything we needed was in the cottage. Beds great and lovely linens. The little back garden was perfect for breakfast and an evening drink. We were left a nice bottle of bubbles in the fridge which was a lovely touch. Dahlia is very responsive to messages. We had no problems at all in the cottage. WiFi is great, parking was a bit tricky on the day we arrived but got a little easier House was spotless. No 1 Whitstable did delicious food and The Ship Centurean did a fabulous Sunday roast . We stayed at Julies place last year, and it truly holds a very special place in our hearts. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The cottage was impeccably clean, beautifully prepared, and full of thoughtful touches that made our stay even more memorable. It was clear that a lot of care and attention had gone into every detail. We felt welcomed and completely at home. It was more than just a stay — it was a wonderful experience that we will always cherish. We can’t recommend Jullie highly enough and look forward to returning!

We had a lovely stay at The Long Stable. The place is very peaceful and there are good views of the countryside and a nearby reservoir. The amenities are top notch - great tv, fast WiFi and the tumble dryer came in handy too! Andrew was a very nice host and helped us when needed. We would definitely visit again.

Lovely little house, beautifully decorated and very well equipped with everything you need for a short stay. Extremely central location with parking for one car. Excellent communication from host Dean who is very knowledgeable and happy to help with any questions you may have. Would definitely recommend. Hope to return in the near future as there is so much more to see in Canterbury than we managed in just a weekend!
