Lovely traditional cosy cottage, ideal for a break. Very well set out with attention to detail and the perfect welcome pack to get you started. Nice area with lots of walks or cycling routes. The Croft/small holding looks like it’s very well cared for and is a credit to Alison and family. We will return.

2 bedroom cosy town cottage

We had a great 3 night stay 9th to 11th of June 2025. The mattresses and bedding was perfect. The rooms all well decorated and furnished. The kitchen had everything one could need. The garden was lovely to sit in. The coop was close by - easy walking distance -as was the beach and the Firth Hotel where I can recommend the fish pie.

Absolutely idyllic. A total get away.... Fabulous walks near by. Enjoyed watching the sun go down every evening. Only slight downside were the minimal cooking facilities...as I do like to cook.. Might worth investing in a BBQ. But apart from that definitely well worth it.

Both Linda and George were great hosts. Friendly, well predisposed, in short: excellent. As for the property, it is very comfortable and pleasant, and it provides a lot of peace to those who stay there. I would definitely visit them again!

Hideaway Under the Stars

SarahRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Me & my partner booked Kim's place for his birthday- a quiet weekend to chill but it was much more than we expected, this is such a good place to go to reset and leave everything behind! The area itself has alot of places you can go and get out and about and we had planned to do that but once at Kims we had everything we needed and didn't want to! So I suggest packing some food supplies! There are so many thoughtfully touches and surprises for adults & children! Families & couples will both love it! Me & Alan especially enjoyed all the inspiring books, daily visits from ducks & hens! a gorgeous place to sit outside! we seen so much wildlife even bats flying about of a night! A log burner to cosy up of a night! And a surprise delivery of fresh eggs in the morning! And of course Kim what an excellent host she is there if you need her but you do have 100% privacy
