We had a wonderful stay at Landgoed Overcingel. The estate itself is stunning, peaceful, historic, and surrounded by beautiful nature. Our hosts, Pam and Harry, were welcoming, thoughtful, and their hospitality made us feel right at home. From the charming rooms to the tranquil gardens, everything was handled with great care and warmth. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique and memorable getaway in Drenthe.

We have really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful cottage. The area is wonderfully quiet but everything you could need is also nearby (supermarket/restaurants). The cottage has more than enough amenities. The dog also enjoyed the large enclosed garden and the surrounding greenery. Sidenote for the tall people among us... the bath is fantastic! With my 1.85 m I even had space left! We will definitely come back again!

The cottage (full of nice amenities) lent itself perfectly to a weekend getaway with my family. We enjoyed the woods, the fireplace and the garden: recommended! The only tip I can think of: make the lights next to the bed less bright and warmer. ;-)

The kitchen area features modern cabinetry and appliances, including a stove and sink. Natural light floods the space through windows, with a view of the seating area and outside greenery visible from the open layout.

We were here with 2 adults and 2 children (primary school age) for a weekend. When you are looking for peace and quiet this is the perfect place. The chalet is nicely located on the water. We thought the water was too dirty to swim in, but a 25-minute drive away is the Blue Lake, where you can swim. The prison museum in Veenhuizen is fantastic and in Appelscha is a nice outdoor swimming pool. We had a nice weekend!

We greatly enjoyed the spacious spacious House, the particularly beautiful view and nature, the Shetland Ponys and today also the Terrace. Totally fantastic. Also the Details as ample towels, toilet paper, pills, soap and the pony sweets......great! Unfortunately, the amount of Dishes and Pans for cooking is nicely calculated. We would love to come back. A Secret tip!☺️👍👍👍

Owners are very kind and communicative. Whatever I needed they were always ready to help. Even due late booking they were able to make appartment ready within few hours. We enjoyed staying there and have no problem to come back again whenever we are around.
