Greg and Nicole's Lake Lodge is incredible. I could not get over walking down to the lake, relaxing in the hammock, and I absolutely adored every minute of being there. Greg and Nicole were kind and understanding. I am so grateful for their hospitality.

Our family of 2 adults and 5 kids had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving week. Watching the sunrises and sunsets on the lake was so peaceful and our kids loved playing outside! Private and beautiful scenery, especially with the late fall colors. We had everything we needed to cook and everyone slept great. Kids said they wished we had spent less time sightseeing and more time at the house so they could play in the backyard!

A Perfect Stay – Comfortable, Charming, and Convenient! We had a wonderful stay at Bevin’s Airbnb! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home thanks to Bevin's warm hospitality and thoughtful touches throughout the space. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax and get a great night's sleep after a day of exploring. One highlight was definitely the hot tub—such a perfect way to unwind! The decor is vibrant, colorful, and so tasteful. The whole place felt cozy and inviting, yet stylish. It truly enhanced the overall experience and made the space feel like a home away from home. Bevin is an exceptional host. She was incredibly responsive, always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed; her kindness made the experience even more special. The location is perfect— close to downtown Charlottesville and the nearby wineries! making it an ideal base for anyone looking to enjoy both the local culture and the beautiful countryside. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The house was great! It had everything we needed to enjoy the long weekend. I would suggest packing water shoes for the little ones. We did not and left with a couple cuts but nothing serious.

Wonderfully appointed and cozy home with plenty of room to spread out. We could not have been more comfortable.

We had a great time here! The place is within walking distance to the lake for fishing and other activities. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and use of streaming services on the TV!

We had a fantastic family vacation at Matt’s house. The space is beautiful — there are amazing views from every window and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy the home. The kitchen was well stocked and we had fun cooking elaborate meals. There were so many fun activities at the house — from the hot tub to shuffleboard — but there are also lots of great outings within easy driving distance. Matt was an incredibly responsive host who quickly answered any question we had. This was one of our best Airbnb experiences ever and we can’t wait to return!

Irene is very responsive and helpful. We spend a great weekend with family and friends! We did kayaking and fishing. Irene provided great advice to us about how to find the best fishing spot. The house is clean and beautiful. The nice patio also includes a gas grill for who wants to BBQ. THIS PLACE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for who want play around water! Definitely will come back.

Adorable space just perfect for a weekend stay. We were in town for a concert at ting pavilion and it was about 20 minute drive to downtown area which is where we spent most of our time exploring places to eat and night life. The space was VERY clean and Bianca is an exceptional host who communicates well and added wonderful touches like wine and some breakfast foods. Great value and I would definitely stay again!

Chanel was excellent at communicating and was so helpful in accommodating us for two extended stays.

Henry's home was beautiful and conveniently located. We arrived late from a long drive, and were able to easily find and enter the home in the dark. The location is peaceful. It is also only 15-20 minutes from downtown Charlottesville. It was very easy to use a ride share service for less than $30 to take us downtown or back. I would definitely recommend that anyone visit these beautiful accommodations, with convenient access to some of the best wineries along the Monticello Wine Trail. Everything was seamless and I would definitely visit again without hesitation.

Stayed here while I was working in the area. Gregg was awesome and always responsive. The pizza place they recommended in the information book was awesome. All in all it was a very nice place that was peaceful and relaxing, especially after a long day at work. I 100% would recommend this spot to anyone!

This is a very comfortable, clean, and beautiful place. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful. I especially loved the second floor, on nice days, I really enjoyed the sunlight there. The large windows offer a great view of the outdoors. The hosts are very friendly and provided detailed instructions for everything along with restaurant recommendations. They were very responsive and quick to answer any questions, which made everything so easy. Their warmth and kindness created such a welcoming atmosphere, and they paid attention to every little detail to ensure a comfortable stay. I truly enjoyed my time here. I would have loved to extend my stay, but unfortunately, the place was already booked for the following days. I would definitely stay here again if I get the chance!

The home was great! Matched the description and pictures online. It’s a perfect location. The neighborhood was beautiful and had hiking trails within a half mile. Downtown was just a 5-10 minute drive. We loved the game room and fresh eggs from the chickens in the yard!

Great host very accommodating and responsive , great location close to everything you’d want to do in the surrounding areas, very scenic and peaceful and the Airbnb itself was clean, quiet, and very fairly priced. Perfect quick trip to the mountains. Thanks again!

We loved our stay at this cabin! It offered total privacy, making it feel like our own little hideaway in nature. The surroundings were stunning—peaceful woods, fresh air, and gorgeous views all around. Inside, the cabin was cozy and thoughtfully furnished for comfort. We enjoyed walking down to see the waterfall on the lower field. The a/c was refreshing for what turned out to be a summer-like Easter. A perfect escape for a long weekend!

I cannot count how many times we’ve stayed at Montfair. Heck, my wife and I got married there in July of 23! This is our home away from home which is a short ride from Richmond, yet worlds away. Thank you again for hosting us. We had an excellent end to Spring break at Loblolly. Until next time.

This cabin was beautiful! The interior was gorgeous with elegant and quality furnishings. The house was well stocked with many items which was so nice. The views and setting were stunning! Every window and door gave you majestic views of mountains and wildlife! The porch as AMAZING as was the fire-pit! To top it off there is a trampoline which I enjoyed channeling my inner child all with Mountain View’s! The hiking trail was exceptionally well done which we enjoyed. The hosts were amazing in responses and help and the welcome touches were so appreciated. What a way to celebrate retirement! We will be back!

Breanna and her husband were very friendly and easy to get a hold of. The place was out of a fairytale and couldn’t have been cozier. My boys loved the bedroom loft and we enjoyed all of the windows in the bedroom. It felt like sleeping in the woods without sleeping in the woods! Afton is beautiful and full of wineries and breweries that suit both kids and adults.

We have enjoyed the “Lighthouse Cove” on our wedding anniversary with our daughter, son-in-law and grandkids for several years. It has always been a great experience and the grandkids (ages six. seven, and 21 months) absolutely love being there. The property is very well kept. I just simply can’t say enough to describe this beautiful house and its location. I’m a chef so I can’t speak to the local restaurants other than there are many choices. Being a chef, you will find almost everything you will need to prepare your meals on site…..and I love that!! Ms Deb and me highly recommend the “Lighthouse Cove” and hope to return for many years! Sitting on the back porch was very relaxing. It was very quiet, only a rare passing car (like twice in two days) and distant train sound once in a while. Other than that just the sound of birds and squirrels. The walking trails are lots of fun and I enjoyed looking for quartz on the trails. We saw a possum and a pileated woodpecker. Ate dinner at Indian Oven, 20 minutes away and very tasty. Cooked other meals at the cabin, it was stocked with everything we needed. Bed was comfy, shower was great, just a wonderful place to unwind.

Great private wooded location with extra character. Loved the windows and great accommodations including towels, sheets, ect. Hosts were very responsive and professional. There are plenty of unique stays but this one is great for you and your pet! We brought our husky and they even put out a water and food bowl for her! Would definitely come back again!
