Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Fluvanna County

This was a great place to stay with plenty of room for our larger family to attend a graduation ceremony. We were hardly there, so we didn't get to enjoy the game room space or the beautiful outdoor area.

Wendy was one of the best hosts I’ve ever interacted with on Airbnb. She was so friendly, helpful and felt like she was a family friend the way she wanted to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. She even offered to have a little campfire lit so we could make s’mores with the kit they have supplied. The house also had literally everything we could have possibly needed. It was so nice to feel like I was home in the fully supplied, welcoming kitchen, comfortable, cozy bedrooms and bathrooms with everything you could need and more. Wendy was also so easy to get in touch with. We had some flight delays coming in and ended up checking in around 11pm but Wendy made sure we got in ok and was responding to messages even late at night to make sure we were ok and comfortable. The best experience. I can’t recommend Wendy and chicory cottage enough. Thank you thank you!

We had a great weekend at the cabin. It was so peaceful and remote, perfect place to get away from it all and unplug. We liked to sit on the big porch and listen to the birds and enjoy the view. We were also able to go fishing in the river and the path was clear of limbs and grass cut. The incline/decline to the river is steep/would be difficult for those with mobility issues but the steps imbedded in the hill were helpful! The cabin was beautiful and clean! Brian has been super responsive and a great host. We got grocery staples at the food lion in Goochland and ventured to elk island winery, licking hole brewery and southern revere brewery which id recommend as well! I definitely excited to return in the future and try out Brian’s other properties!

We spent the Christmas Holiday at Nathaniel's listing and it was wonderful. His dog friendly house was in a great location, and we had a personalized welcome note and wine! The house even had a Christmas tree and light decor. We enjoyed the fire pit, and left some fire starter wood for the nexts guests. WiFi was not spotty at all, and the yard was very well kept. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to be back!

Perfect place to stay for a weekend away and a wedding venue close by!

This place is a hidden gem in Troy VA, it gives peace to stay away from city life. Place is clean and sufficient for 4-5 families with kids. Walmart and other restaurants are close by. There are some domestic animals like goat outside the boundary, kids enjoyed feeding them. We really enjoyed our stay.

We loved everything about our stay with sara. her home was beautiful and welcoming an amazing setting. Our room was beautiful.The furniture was beautiful and her decorations were very creative. We had everything we needed and she was very proactive and asking us if we needed anything extra. Sarah makes a great cup of coffee ❤️ and she's very friendly and has great suggestions.

Irene is amazing and so is her home on Lake Anna! Great space with privacy and access to lake and amenities. Irene went above and beyond - even coming to pick us up from dinner when our Uber cancelled on us. Such a great experience and highly recommended staying here!

Henry’s place was a wonderful home base for our weekend trip to Charlottesville. The apartment was spotless, and the view is beautiful. They provide a binder of local recommendations, which we found very helpful. We had planned to spend some time in Charlottesville/south of Charlottesville for one day, and towards the Afton area for another day - Henry’s place is perfectly situated between both of those areas. He was always quickly responsive as well. Perfect for a stay in Charlottesville- thanks Henry!

Kalin’s place was perfect for us while we were visiting family in the area. It was very clean and the bed was super comfortable. And so many little touches that made this space special. Close to many wineries and a short drive to downtown. We will definitely stay again.

This is a very comfortable, clean, and beautiful place. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful. I especially loved the second floor, on nice days, I really enjoyed the sunlight there. The large windows offer a great view of the outdoors. The hosts are very friendly and provided detailed instructions for everything along with restaurant recommendations. They were very responsive and quick to answer any questions, which made everything so easy. Their warmth and kindness created such a welcoming atmosphere, and they paid attention to every little detail to ensure a comfortable stay. I truly enjoyed my time here. I would have loved to extend my stay, but unfortunately, the place was already booked for the following days. I would definitely stay here again if I get the chance!

Michelle's home is spectacular. The setting up against the Blue Ridge can't be beat. I loved the pool and watching the goats frolic. The apartment is just right for a couple or a single person and has absolutely everything you could need, plus it is immaculate. I so loved everything about the apartment that I plan to return next year.

Words cannot describe the feeling of pure calm that comes over you when you arrive. This place is truly a treasure hidden in the woods. Once you cross the creek you leave the world and all your cares behind. The host pays attention to all the little details and it shows. We have stayed at quite a few places but this one is on our return list. We look forward to sliding up for a long weekend in the late fall or early winter. (Tip- be sure to spend 15 min reading the welcome package it is time well spent).

This is our second year in a row that we stayed here for our annual family retreat (me, my wife and adult children with their partners). We loved it the first time and it was every bit as good the second. The house is in a beautiful peaceful setting tucked away in the woods with a mountain view. We spent most of our time during the day out on the decks, which were very comfortable with plenty of seating, outdoor couches and tables. We also took advantage of the fire pit. The house is actually much larger in size than how it looks . There is a good-sized living room with huge couch and large TV. Everyone had private rooms, which were very clean and comfortable with excellent furnishings. The kitchen was fully supplied for our cooking needs. Whenever we had a question Breanna was very quick to respond. If you're looking for a true getaway, I highly recommend staying here.

Beautiful house with great water access. Dog and baby friendly. We very much enjoyed our family vacation and would stay again. Toula was very responsive and friendly.

Sentosa isnt just a cabin, its an adult sanctuary away from the madness of daily life. The peace and serenty of the surroundings are palpable. The cabin was so clean, I could have been convinced it were built a day before I arrived. Its also less than an hour from Sahnandoah which furnished some of the most beautiful overlooks I've ever seen. No more searching, book it now!

It rained the entire stay. While we had expected better weather, you cannot beat the windows and the sound of the rain on the roof, for a great getaway atmosphere. We loved it.

Great little place! 20 min drive to entrance to Shenandoah National Park. We used the fire pit every night, but still had a luxurious shower and smart TVs to use :) loved it

We had the best time and can’t wait to go back! Ashleigh and the whole family were so sweet and welcoming. The cabin was quiet and comfortable and peaceful, and getting up each day to paddle on the lake and see all the animals made such fun memories for our kids. Ashleigh went out of her way to make sure we had a chance to hold the adorable bunnies and meet and feed all the animals. We loved the clever little farm store next door for muffins and games for the kids. The care that goes into every detail is very evident.

Gil and Ella, and the beautiful oasis they've built, are extraordinary. Inspiring and beautiful, amazing openness and approaches to sustainability. The space is lovely, near others but very private, and so carefully built and planned. If you love peace and nature, this is the place for you.
