Waterfront Luxury Heated Pool/Hot Tub 5 bedrooms

SarahRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The house is beautiful and spacious. We had a large crew with us and never felt crammed. Our favorite spot was the table outside, under the house. The neighborhood is quiet, except for the dog across the way, but it was never a problem. The swamp smelled a little. The location is top notch - conveniently close to resturants and beaches. We recommend staying here if you have a large group who like their privacy!

My Peaceful place on the bay.

LindaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Bettina was a wonderful host. The home was equipped with everything you could possibly need....coffee, filters, laundry detergent, toilet paper, even a coffee grinder. Not by any means a full list. The neighborhood is very quiet and friendly. Beaches were beautiful and close by, however a lot of traffic to and from, but don't let this be a deterrent. Communication was excellent and any issues were addressed quickly and efficiently. This is the second time we have stayed at one of Bettina's homes. She keeps them well maintained, both inside and out. We stayed three months and enjoyed our time very much.

Waterfront Villa Island Breeze heated pool & spa

KristyRating, 5 stars3 months ago
This house was everything that we could have asked for. Unfortunately, we came when the weather was in the 50s but the heated pool and spa definitely made our time worth it. I was continuously impressed with the things this house offered. As a mom of 3, I’m already overwhelmed with the things I need to pack for my family. This house had it all. It included: beach toys, pool noodles, mini paddle boards, a pack and play (I believe, I didn’t look too closely), a beach bag, bikes, a high chair, umbrella, etc., everything you need to stay here! In addition to the wide variety of items, the hosts were very responsive. The only thing I did not enjoy was the firmness of the king bed but I also know that’s something you can’t win with everyone. I also would have appreciated a carbon monoxide detector but we ended up bringing our own. I would still choose to stay here aside from that :) My kids loved the “pool house.” We hope to be back again!

Newly renovated! Steps to BEACH & POOL!

BrianneRating, 5 stars5 days ago
We had an amazing time! My best Friend and I came down with my two kids (ages 8,6) for spring break. Place was just as described. Was clean, and cutely decorated with a beach theme. Had some games for the kids as well. There was a list of great recommendations for things to do and restaurants close by. I had a few questions and host was very friendly and quick to respond! Just a short walk to the beach, but located conveniently right across from the pool! Hot tub was nice and relaxing, located in the middle of the building on the first floor. If you’re driving I would recommend brining your own beach chairs, as the ones provided in the unit are not very comfortable. Beach is gorgeous!we loved staying on the beach and just a short drive to this historic downtown area. We highly recommend staying here! Definitely grab breakfast at island donuts!

Villa Wavecrest at the Sea

AustinRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
What a great stay! Right on the beach but also super private behind some dunes. House is very clean. TONS of extras, beach chairs, fishing gear, BBQ, etc. I think there is a bit of a pay-it-forward situation going with the beach amenities. To that end we bought and left 2 new boogie boards. Upstairs bedroom gets FREEZING cold if you set the air below 72 degrees. But 72 worked great, just a heads up for future renters. The rentals next door allow pets and we had some snarling/barking dogs in the yard which was really annoying but that's not Mark's fault. Amazing stay, we are already booked for next year.

Charming apartment right on the Beach.

ChantalRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago

The Crescent Lakehouse

This was our 2nd stay and it was, again, clean and spacious and perfectly located for our time with family. It is convenient to grocery stores and restaurants and our kids loved the pool. We enjoyed sunrises over the lake from the swings by the camp store and also played horse shoes one afternoon. The beds are comfortable, the shower has great water pressure, and the kitchen is serviceable. We also used the gas grill and Florida room.

Excellent house on a canal that leads to seven sister springs. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook multiple meals. We saw an alligator off the back dock our first day and lots of turtles and fish each day. The house is within close distance to lots of fun activities-we swam with manatees and floated the rainbow river while there. There are multiple kayak outfitters within walking distance of the house so if you do not like sit in kayaks you have very close rental options.

Your guide to Florida

Welcome to Florida

With some of America’s best beaches, most imaginative theme parks, and wildest nightlife scenes, the Sunshine State is basically synonymous with vacation. But it isn’t all hedonism and sunburns. Wildlife teems within the state’s parks and coral reefs, and culture and history can be found in cities like Miami and St. Augustine. If you’re looking to escape to a quiet island where nobody but the seagulls and hermit crabs will intrude, Florida has that, too.

Water enthusiasts will undoubtedly appreciate this peninsula most, considering the state offers 8,500 miles of shoreline, 7,800 lakes, 320 natural springs, and 35 rivers. The opportunities for outdoor adventure in Florida simply abound, from paddling through Everglades National Park to scuba diving along a coral reef in the Keys, fishing off a scenic pier, or jet-skiing on the coast. Wherever you land in this wondrous state, expect to swim every day and admire Technicolor sunsets.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Florida

With few exceptions, most destinations in Florida experience high season from March to August, and visitation peaks during Spring Break and the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays. Northern beaches are packed in the summertime, as are Orlando’s theme parks, when heat and humidity levels max out. February and September are lovely shoulder months for a Florida trip, considering the drier weather and relatively relaxed vibe. Temperatures cool off starting in October, and the beaches quiet down considerably for a spell until the snowbirds show up in December. The dry season of November to April is also ideal for hiking and camping. Do note: Hurricane season stretches from early June to the end of November.

Top things to do in Florida

Everglades National Park

Declared a World Heritage Site, International Biosphere Reserve, and Wetland of International Importance, this vast subtropical wilderness is also known as the “River of Grass.” An airboat ride here is a quintessential Florida experience, but paddling a kayak or even strolling the boardwalk through a mangrove swamp will also allow a glimpse of this wetland’s unrivaled beauty.

The Islands

Florida is home to more than 4,500 islands, including the Keys, the most famous string of these self-contained bits of paradise. Where to go depends upon how you’d like to spend your days: searching for seashells on Sanibel Island, strolling Amelia Island’s 13 miles of white sand, snorkeling off Hutchinson Island in Martin County, or walking along the winding boardwalk of St. Lucie Inlet Preserve State Park.

Miami

White sand beaches, teal water, glitzy 1930s architecture, and pulsating dance parties are only the entry point to this world-class city by the sea, which features strong Iberian, Caribbean, and South and Central American influences. Creativity percolates here, manifesting itself in the city’s art, design, gastronomy, and nightlife, while tropical gardens and verdant parks offer opportunities to appreciate the region’s flora and fauna.
