This beautifully renovated old country house already smelled good of wood oil when you enter and you immediately feel comfortable. Fajãzinha is an idyllic little place on Flores and you can walk to all the waterfalls from the house, which you can see when you drive down to the village. Fajã Grande is also reachable on foot via a beautiful hiking trail along the coast. Once in town, you can get around on foot, but a car is still essential. We had a really relaxing and great time at the place and on the island and can recommend a stay to all nature enthusiasts! Karina is super nice, sends clear instructions and recommendations and responds immediately to messages.

I can’t say enough good things about the house, and most especially Veronica, our co-host! We had to rely heavily on Veronica for support with our many flight delays. She was a great help! The house is very comfortable and the views are amazing. The kitchen is great for cooking in, and we loved the fresh eggs! The living spaces and decks were perfect for hanging out when not touring the countryside. Thank you!

This is a wonderful and comfortable house in a truly gorgeous location. I stayed with a total of 6 adults and it was spacious and well-equipped. We were able to do some wonderful hikes leaving right out the front door and we were also able to walk to several good restaurants. Listening to the sound of the surf was very peaceful and relaxing. Frederico was easy to communicate with and flexible with some changing plans due to flight delays. We appreciated the breakfast foods, snacks, and beverages when we checked in. I would absolutely come back!

Great spot to stay, it was easy to get around to the different areas on the island from here. Very clean, had everything we needed and a pretty view. Nuno gave us great recommendations of what to do and very good instructions to find the place. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thanks Nuno for the hospitality!

Amaia is very kind ,the place is spectacular. Nothing like coming from a day of routes and getting home to rest . We had problems with the flight to leave the island and Amaia helps us in everything and gave us a solution to everything. I would definitely stay again in Amaia's apartment

Our stay was just amazing! Communication was quick and thorough, the house is just beautiful and extremely clean, super peaceful with sounds of nature (sometimes dogs and chickens) and views of the ocean. Elizabete, the housekeeper is one in a million, she was super friendly, an amazing cook and knowledgeable about the island. We were very sad to end our time on Flores and looking forward to coming back.

Very friendly staff and the place is beautiful. One of the most beautiful areas of the island, perfect for hiking. Absolutely recommended.

Casa Malagueta is stunningly beautiful! We had a simply perfect stay at Camille's and Marco's place: The house was well equipped with all one could need, it was spotless clean, spacious, so cosy, and well taken care of. One feels like home immediately! Upon arrival, we got so many useful information about the island, what to see, where to hike and where to eat. All communication was super easy and the hosts always attentive. If we return to Flores one day, we will sure choose Casa Malagueta again! Thanks a lot for this amazing stay on "your" island!
