The modern cabin from 2022 is located in the beach zone at Herlandsneset at the end of Atløy in Askvoll Municipality in Sogn og Fjordane. The plot is sunny with panoramic sea views that can be enjoyed from the cabin's hot tub. There is a fabulous view from the cabin towards the island of Kinn in the northwest, a special brand and knowledge known as a sailing brand along the coast. To the south is the well-known viewpoint Brurastakken and the popular hiking island Alden also called Norske Hesten. With the cabin's motorboat you can go there and to Værlandet and Bulandet.

At ut@no we find 25 trip suggestions on the island. To get here, you have to follow regular boat. One can park a car in Florø or bring a car all the way to the front, but there is limited car space on the ferry so it must be booked for a car in advance. Approximately 5 daily departures from Florø. 2 kayaks, SUP, canoe are free. Boat rana 480 with 25hp. (500nok per day + gas)

On this former small farm you can enjoy the silence with wild sheep and deer close to the cottage. The new cottage is located a few minutes from the majestic sea cliff Hornelen. The area offers very good fishing opportunities and hiking in the woods and mountains. The cabin is the former farmhouse, and has its own unique style. It is equipped with everything you need, apart from the exceptional luxury. We live in the main house on the same property. Surrounded with magnificent nature, a quiet place, the sea less than 200 meters away. No mass tourism here! It’s a perfect place to stay if you plan one of the many hikes in Bremanger e.g. the Hornelen (Via Ferrata expected opening in 2023), Vedvika and many more as well as visiting beautiful beaches.
