Vacation rentals with lake access in Flanders

Wonderful host. My stay was excellent. The place also has a very unique personality given its blending with Blues music. I enjoyed the place and the atmosphere. It was flawlessly clean yet also comfortable and very unique. I hope to stay here again.

This was our first visit to Belgium and the home we stayed in was exactly how described and more. Beautiful surroundings with large garden wrapping around the whole of the house with animals surrounding the home which was lovely and relaxing. Our host left food out for my children to feed the animals each morning which they loved. The inside was spacious and modern and very clean with everything you needed. Gwendoline was a fantastic host and so welcoming and was super kind and also left us some delicious treats. The location is within easy reach of lots of popular places to visit, with Bruges only being a 20 minute drive away. All of this made our stay a memorable one and we would recommend Gwendoline’s place to anyone. We will definitely be returning!

This is a wonderful home in a great location in Knokke! It is beautifully designed and can accommodate a large family gathering. We really appreciated the little bike garage in the back, as it was very convenient for the stroller. The host was very responsive - we had an internet issue at check in, and they worked very quickly to resolve it. They were also flexible about the trash policy, since we were flying back to the US and couldn’t take our paper/cardboard with us. Thank you for a great experience!

we had a nice time by the sea and the west corner. The cottage is cozy and warmly decorated, also on the terrace it is lovely. we really enjoyed it. only point of attention: if you are tall (1.98m) it is a bit bent on the sides in the house and at the gate to enter.

Lovely complete apartment near the beach of Knokke. We were at Christmas and it was wonderfully quiet and quiet. Everything is present and if something is missing, Susanne and Peter are quickly willing to solve this. Car can be parked behind apartment on private property. and there is a garage for any bikes. Nice contact with the landlord. We'd love to come back.

We found this accommodation by chance on Airbnb and it was the best choice we could have made. We found everything we needed and even more than expected, accurate cleaning and complete with every comfort. The furnishings are refined and with good taste. Mr Peter was very helpful and certainly in the future if we return to Linkeroever / Antwerpen, we will focus on this property again. We recommend it 100%

Spacious and bright space. Beautiful lake views near the sea and with covered and heated swimming pool appreciable after the excursions. Bruges is 20 min , Ghent 40 min and Brussels 1h20 . Close to the border of the Netherlands we were visited Sluis. Ideal location to discover the area and enjoy and break nature /sea. Vera and Arno are very responsive and their apartment is impeccable and well-equipped.

We loved our stay at Stephanie's apartment. The apartment was recently renovated and modern furnished. The presence of a swimming pool in the building is a big plus. An indoor swimming pool so close to the beach is not often found. There are also 2 ping pong tables in the building. There is a supermarket (Lidl) within walking distance. In short, recommended!

The host is extremely helpful! The apartment was very clean and is located in a beautiful area. We enjoyed walking in the neighborhood, tried good restaurants and visited Bruges (20min driving). Swimming pool is great and super clean.

We had a pleasant stay, Patrick and his wife Brigitte are very welcoming and available even in case of problems.

We spent 4 nights as a couple at this gorgeous cottage in Bornem. Everything was very clean and tidy and exactly as shown in the pictures and described in the listing. The kitchen in particular was extremely well equipped. I have rarely seen this in a vacation rental. In addition to kitchen utensils of any kind, there was also a freezer and microwave. Also noteworthy is the great secluded location surrounded by nature. If you are looking for peace and relaxation and just want to switch off, this is the place to be. The hot tub overlooking the lake then does the rest. We can only recommend this place and will definitely be back.

We have stayed at the cellar house cottages several times. Whenever we travel to Brussels it’s where we stay without exception; we don’t even look elsewhere because this place has all one could desire and then some whether traveling as a family or couple on business or leisure/vacationing; it’s perfect. The hosts are wonderful; they are always very accommodating, helpful, and very friendly. The location can’t be beat with easy access to major roadways, yet in a secluded and park like setting away from the hustle and bustle. The cottages are close to the airport (10 minutes,) Grand Place (20 minutes,) ING Arena (10 minutes,) mall/ theater (10 minutes,) and restaurants. If you are headed to the Brussels area don’t hesitate to rent the cottages; there’s no need to look any further because nothing beats it!

The house is super nice and cozy. Nothing is missing so far. Attention, sauna and hot tub must be heated with wood. Don't be shy about this. The sauna was in a neat, clean condition (lying down not possible). The hot tub was clean and prepared with chlorine. You have to let in the water yourself, so you also know directly that it is fresh. Unfortunately, the lighting doesn't work here. The garden/outdoor area could use some care and attention to rank it even higher. The hammock was unusable, unfortunately full of bird droppings. We reported minor defects or defective utensils to the landlord. They reacted positively to the information and would like to respond. If you want to experience an undisturbed break paired with wellness and a beautiful, idyllic location among many trees, this is the place to be. Thanks for the pleasant weekend. 😃👍🏼

We had a lovely stay. The home had everything that we needed and the host kindly provided everything we needed to get started. The location was fantastic (5 minute drive to the beach) and the resort and activities were fantastic for our family. Thank you for a lovely stay we would highly recommend it.

We had a nice stay :) took us some time to heat the Hottub, so keep that in mind when you want to use it. beautiful outdoor area. Beds were comfortable. definetly recommend it!

We enjoyed the place. Since it is fenced (as you can see in the photos) it is very private. Everything is available in terms of amenities (including a raclette <3). Claude responded directly to my concerns. Only as info for people who want complete peace: next door is a tennis court and we unfortunately caught an evening at which an 80s party and it was anything but quiet. But it doesn't do anything negative about the place. Thank you for everything, Claude!
