Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Fitchburg

We were in town for a family friends wedding and needed a place to stay for the night. This was a perfect stay for us! Had everything we needed and Laura was very kind. This was the first place we stayed where the host wrote a welcome card and had a basket of goodies waiting. It was very thoughtful!

We LOVED this Airbnb! Everything was perfect for our "Mom's get-away trip"! The house was immaculate & had a great floorplan. The kitchen was even bigger & nicer than the pictures looked & fully stocked with everything you would need. The groundskeeper came immediately & got the water toys ready. We met neighbors across the lake & even hung out at their house the 1st evening! Everyone was super friendly. Roger was on it! Very responsive & easy to work with. 10/10 all around!!! Even left us beautiful flowers on our arrival! The lake was beautiful. The only negative was we weren't there long enough. Definitely went too fast! We hope to return again in the coming years!!! ❤️

This was our 2nd stay at the Car Wash and it was amazing. We will definitely be back. They have Everything you need to enjoy your stay and the bed is the most comfortable I’ve ever slept on!

This is one of the most aesthetically gorgeous, peaceful and unique Airbnb experiences I've enjoyed. What an absolutely lovely sanctuary of light, simplicity, and calm refuge just 30 minutes drive through rolling farmland, woods and wetlands from downtown Madison and the UW campus. The indoor fireplace and hot tub are such fabulous highlights! I loved every aspect of the orchard house including Josh's proactive tips and quick responses to a couple of minor questions I had. This was a really lovely place to spend a long weekend. I will be back and have already told all my friends about it. Bravo!

Kevin was a great host! He welcomed us with a nice gift as a welcome to Wisconsin. He was communicating well with us on the trip. The place was beautiful! It was so peaceful and very quiet. We were just a short walk to the town which was such a cute town with a great antique store and coffee shop! (You must go to the coffee shop!) The house had so many fun things to do. I personally enjoyed the basketball court the most! Many games to play and a great fire pit. The fridge was so much fun to draw on and listen to music throughout the kitchen area. If you plan on a get away trip or a short distance away from Madison I suggest you stay here!

A great experience overall. Very clean and well furnished spaces. A nice book with instructions and places to visit. We enjoyed our coffee and meals in the outdoor space.

House was very nice, and well kept. Enjoyed the coffee bar and snacks! It should be known its a short walk to 2 great restaurants/bars. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this house.

Michelle was a terrific host, and I would gladly stay with her again. She was extremely quick to reply to messages. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed. She provided everything I could need during my stay, including some lovely snacks in the fridge. I especially appreciated how quiet the location was and how welcoming Michelle was about my bringing two dogs with me.

Hello! Elizabeth was a wonderful host, she was very informative and recommended a lot in the area. You can really tell she cares for her guests and the space. It was a beautiful home and my group is so happy we stayed there.

Lori's place was absolutely fantastic! It was so cozy and I loved staying in as much as I did going out. Lori's check in and check out was an introverts dream but Lori was responsive and just a text away if I needed anything. I absolutely would stay here again!

From her greeting you at the front door to making sure you have all that you need. Her place is perfect for a few days or even an extended stay! Located just off the highway and close to an amazing wine and restaurant - and minutes away from Beloit College! I recommend and look forward to my next stay

We loved our stay at Tricia’s whimsical, boho home. The artistic, multi-level layout was perfect for celebrating my daughter’s 5th birthday weekend. The space had plenty of room, creative decor, and nostalgic touches like the Wii, which my kids loved. My daughter was able to relax with Bluey upstairs while I prepped meals and unwound after our days exploring nearby Madison. We visited the Madison botanical gardens, children’s museum, and Capitol, and enjoyed two local diners with great food and reasonable prices. A couple of great surprises made the trip even more special: Fireman’s Park across the street had an outdoor movie night (Moana 2), food trucks, a splash pad, and an updated playground. Tricia also surprised my daughter with birthday cupcakes and a gift card to Woolly’s Snack Shop, where we got ice cream on our way home. Lots of sleeping options, games, and puzzles made the home even better. Tricia was super communicative and we’d definitely stay again.

The Chateau (Robin's place) was just perfect for the three of us. It's peaceful rural location was beautiful and especially accessible for our hiking segments and connecting routes of the Ice Age Trail. It's also close enough to Baraboo, Sauk City, Merrimack, Prairie du Sac and even Madison...so you can explore small towns, villages and city life if you want or just soak in the beauty of the rolling hills in the driftless region. Our accomodations were just what we needed. Kitchen was well equipped and bathrooms were spotless. We were able to communicate with Robin easily. We also had an extra vehicle that she allowed us to park. We stayed there 3 times! Highly recommend it!

I travel to the Madison area for work often and have stayed at Kathryn’s place a few times. The rental is the full second floor of a home in DeForest, a quiet little village not far outside Madison. It’s a clean, well-equipped, comfortable unit, with a private entrance, that makes a great base for exploring DeForest and the broader Madison area. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

We loved our stay here! It was just what we needed. The hot tub was an added perk, and we also enjoyed watching the little robot lawnmower do its thing! Would definitely come back again!

There were four of us and we were all so happy with our stay! We never even turned on the TV (though it was nice size) …we spent evenings on the patio relishing the nature and all the birdsong... made lots of great memories talking about our days and resting our weary bones from all the walking! Super comfortable and welcoming … lots of personal touches and had everything we needed to cook and eat in comfortably. we had two folks in each unit, but could easily have had 4–5 in each. Place is close to Spring Green for attractions Taliesin and HOTR) and got to enjoy the scenic short ride there. we felt right at home..,great amenities, large bathroom, bed was amazingly comfortable. Everything was super clean and we can’t say enough about how kind and responsive the hosts are. Thank you, Bill and Darcy for letting us enjoy this slice of heaven! We will definitely be back!

Another wonderful stay! This was our second year booking this amazing getaway home, and it was just as perfect as we remembered. Everything was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully prepared. The location is unbeatable, and the hosts are always a pleasure to communicate with. We’re already looking forward to coming back next year!

My two best friends and I stayed at the fabulous Refugio Graziella for a relaxing girls’ weekend and it. was. perfect. Most of the weekend was spent lounging and chatting in all the many wonderful spaces the home offers: sipping coffee on the peaceful screened-in porch, relaxing in the hot tub, roasting marshmallows at the serene fire pit under the string lights with ample firewood and supplies, doing crafts and playing games at the inviting dining room table, cooking meals in the fully equipped kitchen, and listening to music in the cozy living room. We did not end up using the sauna (just didn’t have time), but are already planning a winter getaway to RG. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it if you are looking for a quiet getaway, surrounded by nature but still a short drive away from anything you need or want. Clearly, so much thought was put into anticipating the needs of their guests, and that makes Refugio Graziella a place you immediately feel comfortable. 🥰

My husband, two dogs and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin! The point of my vacation was going somewhere we could take our dogs and this was the perfect spot to relax with them for a few days. Everything was clean and there was a perfect amount of space for us to relax. It was very quiet in the neighborhood and most of the time it felt like we were the only ones around. It was great to be able to walk to a very nice restaurant and bar a minute or two down from the cabin since we wanted to stay close. The only thing that bummed me out was we went at the end of May and the dock wasn’t put out - and I was hoping to spend time sitting out on the water. That could have been me not realizing the typical “season” but had assumed it’d be out so I recommend checking if that’s important to you :)

The cabin was beautiful and the location was amazing. It was really nice to see the bison walking around near the cabin and we were also able to have a really fun campfire outside in the fire pit. Also there was a gas grill where we could do barbecue. We had a really nice time and it was really clean and comfortable and cozy.

Wonderful few days at Mark's place! The cabin was adorable, and we enjoyed the sauna, stoneware, and peaceful setting. Mark was super responsive and kind throughout the whole visit -- awesome to see his studio and learn about wood fired pottery as well!

This was absolutely perfect for disconnecting and retreating. Such beautiful surroundings and peaceful atmosphere! Every thing was exactly as described. The photos were spot on for check-in qnd much appreciated.

We had an amazing stay! Dan was great with recommendations and instructions! The place was clean private area and just like the pictures. Look forward to booking in the future! My mom had a great birthday weekend!

Peaceful and well kept cabin, the family and I loved the prairie trails on the property. Also so close to multiple state parks and the dells. Looking forward to coming back!
