Smoking friendly vacation rentals in Fish Hoek

We had a wonderful stay with Chris! As other reviews have noted, Chris is a terrific host, very responsive, and very organized around the logistics of check-in, etc. The apartment was very quiet, and well set-up for remote work. The kitchen was very well set-up for longer term stays, and the array of pots, utensils, etc. made cooking easy; the apartment is near a number of different grocery stores (we used the Checkers further south). The all-new bath and rain shower were great, with lots of storage in the medicine cabinet. Throw in some beautiful sunsets from the balcony, and this apartment becomes an easy place to stay. Imraan was very flexible, with early check in and check out. He communicated swiftly and responded to all our messages in a timely manner whenever we had a question. He made our lives easy, that’s what people need when they travel to a foreign country!

David's place was very comfortable, in a very convenient position, and they thought of little added extras to make my stay more memorable. Thank you, guys.

We had a great time staying at Debi and Ian’s apartment ! It was perfect in that it had everything we needed and was in a brilliant location, 15 minutes walk to the waterfront and everywhere else! We rented a car and there was secure parking. The staff on site were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was beautifully kept, very comfortable and with lovely views. We would have no problem in recommending this apartment and would certainly stay here again on our next trip!

We had a fantastic stay at Morgane’s Airbnb! The small studio was perfect for our family of three spacious, clean, and thoughtfully designed. The king-size bed was incredibly comfortable, and the fully equipped kitchen made meal prep a breeze. The private patio was a lovely spot to relax, and the location, just 2 minutes from a beautiful local beach that was delightfully quiet even during the holiday season, was ideal. Morgane was an excellent host friendly, responsive, and accommodating. We highly recommend this place and would love to come back in the future!

It was an overall great experience. The pictures match the room we stayed in, and everything was very clean. The location is beautiful, it is close to many restaurants and had a good view of the street outside. Overall amazing stay. We will definitely come again.

We had a great stay at Laurence’s place! Definitely recommend. It’s very centrally located in Sea Point. Laurence is very responsive and kind. Very comfortable bed and the apartment has everything you need.

We rented Jonathan’s house for our family holiday. It was the best choice that we made during our trip. The house is just as good as described, if not better. The garden is beautiful, the view breathtaking, the house in general and the kitchen very well kitted. The decoration is amazing. These people got taste ! Big plus for the hot tub in the garden, as well as the hammoc at the top « hidden » location. I am an 35 years old architect, and this house is my goal in life. Thank you Jonathan and Ilze for everything.

This stay was actually better than we expected. I stayed with my teenage daughter and 2 dogs and we all loved the place (dogs included!). The photos really don't do the place justice. It is beautiful inside and the garden is spectacular and really peaceful. The layout of the house is really nice and easy flow throughout. Lots of space for clothes, pantry items, etc so it worked really well for a longer stay. The kitchen was fully kitted out. They really did have everything-- plenty of utensils, cutlery, pans, etc-- even a Nutribullet. There are several shops within walking distance. Being able to walk down to the pick n pay was actually really nice (very short walk). I could be there and back with my items within 10 minutes. Coffee shops, restaurants, takeaways and large shopping center (Kenilworth Center) all within walking distance. There was some slight noise from cars, but it was gentle enough to be more like white noise and didn't bother us at all. Highly recommend.

FIona and Arnold have a wonderfully private, restful retreat that's also very walkable to great coffee shops, restaurants, and stores. We stayed for a month, and as a family of five, found the house to be well-appointed, stylish, and comfortable. The host we're incredibly responsive and helpful. Given the chance, we'd stay here again! Thank you for a great stay!

My wife, 2 children and I stayed at Gareth's place for 10 days in April 2025. Gareth was proactive before we arrived, providing all necessary information in clear detail. On arrival, David, the housekeeper, greeted us and helped with luggage as well as instructions on the alarms, garage, gate access and other bits and pieces. The property is incredible, the views sensational and the location fantastic. We could have easily spent the entire 10 days sitting on the balcony enjoying the view out over Fish Hoek and False Bay. It really is a dream destination. If you want to explore the area, there are so many activities within short distances - swimming at Fish Hoek beach, wine tasting at Klein Constantia, penguins at Simons Town, surfing in Muizenberg - there are endless things to do. Alternatively, take a seat on the balcony and let the world pass you by. Thank you Gareth for an incredible stay. Oh and the steps are not an issue for the majority of people :-)

What a wonderful 10/10 experience this has been! Arrived here on new years, spent an entire month here and ended up booking an extra week. I don't want to leave this place at all. If you are looking for an AirBnB gem, this is it. Besides the fact that this house looks like something straight out of Architectural Digest, it also feels equally amazing to be here. Ronell & Ghe made me feel like I was staying at the house of my long lost friends. From taking me on hikes, drinks, and having braai's together - they elevated my SA experience completely in the best way possible. I felt super safe as a solo female traveler, and felt extra loved by Sila&Bo, the cutest dogs who made this stay even more special. Ronell & Ghe really made me feel right at home. This was my first time in SA all and I gained two new south african friends, and hopefully one day: neighbours! Baaie dankie for one of the best experiences I could have dreamed of. I will be back <3

Such a beautiful apartment with magnificent views of Table Mountain and Lion’s Head! The location is excellent and a lot of popular sites and attractions are within walking distance or a very short drive away. The apartment was equipped with nearly everything we needed and there was a lot of thought put into small conveniences - such as a generously stocked kitchen cupboard (spices, oils etc.) - great for anyone who wants to cook for themselves. An array of different kitchen appliances was also available! The rooms were clean and well air-conditioned (and both rooms also have stunning views and great light). Pool and gym access, plus parking was also a great bonus! The co-host communicated very well and was willing to help at all times.

We had a fantastic stay in the apartment! We were a group of four, and the space was perfect for us. The couple stayed in the large master bedroom, which was the biggest and best room. The second-largest room with the queen bed was ideal for one person, while the small room with the single bed and en-suite bathroom was quite compact—after some time, the air could feel a bit stuffy, so sleeping with the door open helped. A big plus was the included garage, and we also really enjoyed relaxing on the terrace with its beautiful view of the Waterfront and the sea. Highly recommended!

Breathtaking views and balm for the soul are absolutely true. Tastefully furnished, cute pool. Sixty-eight steps to get there were a challenge for this 66-year old, but then there is the funicular when you're desperate 😉 Lesley is a friendly and helpful host.

We stayed for nearly four weeks at Alexa’s and it was great. The location in Muizenberg is perfect to explore the complete Cape Area and beyond. Alexa always responded quickly and had many great suggestions for restaurants and hikes and sights. The apartment is super cozy and there’s everything you need. We worked from here too and the wifi is super fast and reliable. We will definitely return and can only recommend Alexa’s place!

We loved our stay at Claudia's apartment. It is such a beautiful space and we felt very at home there. The fully equipped kitchen is perfect if you want to cook your own meals, and sitting out on the back patio with the view of Devil's Peak was definitely a highlight. There is a great coffee shop nearby to which we were repeat customers, and multiple shops and places to eat also within walking distance. We had wondered if the train might be noisy, going past the apartment, but it wasn't at all. We also felt completely safe. Lucille and Jeffrey met us to check in and out, and they are such warm and kind hosts and we really enjoyed chatting with them. We would definitely stay again!

Perfect Location in Cape Town! In the morning a coffee with a view of table mountain and in the evening by the pool a glass of red wine with a view of the city! Great location, great restaurants nearby, a few hundred meters from the hiking trail to Lions Head or Signal Hill - just perfect! Apartment is super clean and all the little things that simplify AirBnB life are already available. (shampoo, salt, olive oil, tabs for dishwasher, etc.) Communication was excellent and we also had a parking space for the rental car ! Thank you for everything !!!
