Beautiful Cottage near Barnard Castle - Great View

MaureenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Myself my husband and two granddaughters had the perfect stay we had no issues at all and would definitely stay again.
Three black and white dogs are depicted, framed by a blurred green field. The dogs display attentive expressions, with their heads resting on the edge of a fence. A rural building is visible in the background, partially obscured by fog.

Binks Cottage, a cosy rural retreat

SallyRating, 5 stars14 months ago
My sister and I really enjoyed staying in Binks cottage. Amanda and her family made us feel very welcome and we were able to see the lambs in the barn and learn about their care. The cottage is exceptionally comfortable and had everything we wanted. Excellent place to stay. Thankyou!

The Byre

AlanRating, 5 stars4 days ago
The Byre is a very comfortable and peaceful place to spend a few days and a good centre to explore the region. I had a relaxing stay and it was good to be able to walk through some of the fields around the farm and beyond.
A charming fireplace is framed by a rustic mantel, adorned with decorative candles and small sculptures. A black wood-burning stove is centered below a framed artwork. Two lanterns flank the stove, and a patterned black and white tile surrounds the hearth, contributing to the space's cozy ambiance.

No7 The Cottage; a rural retreat

RobinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The only thing missing were bin bags . Everything else was excellent. Road works outside the window weren’t ideal but we were here to see relatives so it wasn’t too impactful. Could have done with one more bath towel rather than hand towels. Internet connection was poor so may be a reason not to stay again??
A stone cottage path is framed by vibrant green foliage, leading to an open view of a scenic hillside. The pathway is bordered by a brick wall, providing a sense of privacy and tranquility. The sky is clear, enhancing the peaceful outdoor ambiance.

The Old Post Office

CarlRating, 5 stars1 week ago
This is the most immaculately clean and well presented air b&b we have ever stayed in, it was a large traditional cottage but super cosy at the same time! The views overlooking the country side were amazing! Every thought was put into making our stay comfortable for us, we received a welcome snack basket which was wonderful and the host Kirsty was so kind and warm like we had known her for years! We stayed here as we were working for an event close by and our only regret is that we couldn’t enjoy the old post office for a little bit longer. We will be sure to book this place again next year. Kirsty you should be really proud of your efforts to make this air b&b such a wonderful place for people to enjoy. Thank you so much Carl and Shona

Really nice stay with lots of attention to detail, everything had been thought of. Lots of handy little tips dotted around the cottage and exceptionally clean. Parking was on the main road but was really easy to find a space.

Welcome to Number 3 The Causeway

Lucy & StevenRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We would highly recommend this pretty cottage located in Wolsingham. It’s lovely to be able to walk into the village to the shops and cafe. The cottage itself has everything you need for your stay and it’s beautifully decorated and very comfy and peaceful. The surrounding area is beautiful and Wolsingham is well located for exploring the area.
