Such a beautiful place to stay - very peaceful and relaxing. Swallow Barn was clean, comfortable and extremely good for our dogs as the back garden was very secure for them. Rosie and Richard were very friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Swallow Barn. Thank you for our stay. John & Jennifer Kingsbury

400 year old stylish farmhouse oozing character

CatherineRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Lovely stay in a beautiful, charming country cottage in a quiet, peaceful location. It was clean throughout and Louise, the host, was friendly and helpful, leaving some supplies in the fridge for our stay. We took walks around the area and ate lunch at the local pub, which was just down the Lane. We would certainly return.

The Shooting Lodge

StephanieRating, 5 stars4 months ago
we have had the loveliest week at the shooting lodge, so cozy, fantastic walks and lots of lovely local pubs too. Louise was so responsive and the lodge was immaculate. the folder of information about the lodge and the local area and what we can get to and see was so useful. Really enjoyed our week here.

Annex in pretty village location - pets welcome

Fiona And OliverRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We felt right at home in the Annex and enjoyed lounging around on the cloud like sofas. It’s very spacious, especially downstairs, quiet and private. We like self catering and appreciated having a good kitchen and dining. Upstairs the beds are comfy and the bathroom is modern and sparkly clean. Thorndon is a lovely village, very Suffolk. We woke to wood pigeons and took walks along the quiet roads in the evenings. The Black Horse Inn is highly recommended, the food was very good, the landlord jovial, his staff lovely, the interior is all timber beams. We sat outside and had a delicious lunch. And it’s just round the corner! A five / ten minute walk. Thanks Sarah for your generous welcome, we’d definitely stay again!

Peaceful, Spacious 1 Bedroom Barn Conversion

AnneRating, 5 stars6 days ago
The Barn accommodation was a lovely place to stay. Lovely surroundings and a private garden to sit with a coffee. Also plenty of room and easy to park into our allocated space. A few miles from the A14 for connectivity, and close to a co-op. The accommodation also had everything we needed for a short break, including 2 TVs.
