Lake house vacation rentals in Finland

We spent 5 nights at Erik‘s place and it simpley was an amazing time. If you want to enjoy nature and take a break from hectic every day life, this is the right place to go! Also the outdoor sauna was a very cool experience :) 10/10 would recommend!

Pieni talo, jossa kaikki normaalit mukavuudet. Erityisen tyylikäs sauna ja pesuhuone. Hyvä parisänky ja jopa säädettävä iso pöytä etätyöskentelyyn. Isäntäpari otti meidät ystävällisesti vastaan ja esitteli paikat. Autolle löytyi jopa pressutalli. Suosittelen!

Tilava, viihtyisä ja hyvin varusteltu paikka järven rannalla. Toinen mökki melko lähellä, eikä välissä kovin paljon näköestettä. Kokonaisuutena positiivinen kokemus!

Eines der besten AirBnb‘s in dem ich jemals war! Bereits vor der Reise war die Kommunikation einfach, jederzeit hilfreich und freundlich! Wir fühlten uns sofort wie Zuhause, wurde persönlich empfangen und alles wurde erklärt. Das Haus war einfach traumhaft, die Ruhe und die Natur helfen beim entspannen. Sauna und Whirlpool waren einfach super! Für uns als Stadtkinder die perfekte Abwechslung und Entspannung. Die Gastgeber waren super freundlich. Ich werde definitiv wieder kommen und diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen. Vielen Dank für alles. Beste Grüße, Daniel

Nautimme pitkästä viikonlopusta omassa rauhassa kauniilla mökillä ja avanto ja sauna kruunasi kokemuksen. Myös kaunis koskematon luonto ympärillä rauhoitti ja talvisaikaan muita mökkeilijöitä ei ollut ympärillä eli saimme kaipaamamme rauhan mökillä. Johanna oli hyvin ystävällinen ja ennakoiva majoituksemme suhteen. Mielellään mökkeilisimme kohteessa uudelleenkin.

Taas Mahtava majoittuminen työreissulla; tästä näyttää tulevan vakiokohteeni työreissulla. Sauna ja avanto kruunasivat kokemuksen.

Gut und geschmackvoll eingerichtet, direkt am schönen See.Sauna,Boot und Billard sind auch großartig.großer Supermarkt (S-market)such nicht weit.man hat seine Ruhe und kann auch viel unternehmen in der Umgebung.Matti ist ein toller,sympathischer und hilfsbereiter Gastgeber!alles war wunderbar und wir kommen gerne wieder!

Nautimme ihanan rauhallisesta tunnelmasta! Sauna lämpeni äkkiä ja uskallettiin käydä heittää talviturkit laiturilta. Isona plussana oli lakanoiden lisäksi pyyhkeetkin valmiina!

Das Haus ist einfach einmalig. Die Aussicht auf den See ist atemberaubend und es ist toll, dass man direkt im Wald ist. Unglaublich schön. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und wären am liebsten noch länger geblieben. Kari ist sehr zuvorkommend und hat sogar kurzfristig noch eine Kinderschwimmweste für unsere Tochter organisiert. Vielen Dank! Der Whirlpool und die Saune sind top in Schuss und die Küche ist sehr gut eingerichtet. Alles in Allem war es ein toller, erholsamer Urlaub für uns und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt.

Die Unterkunft ist wie beschrieben und sieht auch wie auf den Fotos aus. Uns hat die Sauna natürlich sehr gefallen aber auch sonst das gesamte Haus. Es war erstaunlich groß und hatte alles was man braucht. Besonders schön war auch die Umgebung und dass der See wirklich sehr nah war.

Ihana paikka näin talvella,ja varmasti todella mahtava kesällä. Kaunis talo ja kaikin puolin ihana. Tuija on ystävällinen majoittaja ja kommunikointi sujui jouhevasti. Suosittelen ja palaamme kesällä!

The place is lovely, well equipped. There beautiful surroundings, it’s close to the lake and ruka safari is close by. It was a bit hard to operate the washing machine, but other than that we definitely recommend this cabin! Looking forward to visit again 🙏🏽

The house is very pleasant to live in, spacious, and very bright. The surroundings are magnificent for walking, along the lake and in the forest.

We ( 2 families) had an amazing stay at Johanna’s ! The house is large enough well furnished and the kitchen fully equipped. Everything as described in the listing. The location is super nice and we were able to see the northern lights from the house itself !! Johanna was quick to respond to our concerns and she takes care of providing extra heating during the very cold days! If you have a car with you.. then it’s impossible to go wrong with this stay. Thanks Johanna for hosting us .. we really enjoyed the stay !

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful property, and I can't say enough good things about it! The highlight of our stay was definitely the cute sauna house, which provided a perfect way to relax and unwind. The private entrance to the lake was another fantastic feature, offering serene and beautiful views right at our doorstep and a memorable experience of swimming in the lake after the Sauna. The host was incredibly responsive and attentive to all our needs, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The entire experience was smooth and enjoyable.

Marcus and his wife have a beautiful place. It’s extremely peaceful and has all you need for a enjoyable time. The house is isolated on a private part, which gives you the changes to explore nature and look at the stars at night. All the facilities work and are very nice maintained. Overall this is a great recommendation for everyone that enjoys nature, walking and doesn’t mind driving/biking a little while to the local supermarket/restaurant

Uusi ja hyvin hoidettu, moderni mökki! Ohjeistukset eri välineiden käytöstä videoilla hyvät ja yksityiskohtaiset! Kiva ja kirkasvetinen järvi. Negatiiviset asiat vähäisiä, mutta jos jotakin haluaisi parantaa, niin mattojen puhtauteen kiinnitin jnkv. huomiota. Metallisia aterimia olisin kaivannut keittiöön...tai mainintaa ohjeisiin, ettei niitä löydy vaan pitää tuoda itse. Kivaa mökkiseutua! Jnkv. rapaiset loppukilometrit päällystämättömällä tiellä...mutta näinhän se usein mökeillä onkin. Hiukan pelottava tunnelma syvän luonnon keskellä öisin kun ulkoa tulevia rapsahduksia arvuuttelimme milloin minkäkin eläimen tekemiksi. Ystävällinen ja asiallinen palvelu netin välityksellä...omistajia tai henkilökuntaa emme tavanneet...vain ammattisiivooja tuli vastaan lähtiessämme. Miellyttävät 3 syksyistä yötä vietin vaimoni ja 2v lapseni kanssa. Suosittelen lämpimästi!

Kuvat eivät tee oikeutta kohteelle, on luonnossa hienompi. Tilaa oli ruhtinaallisesti, varusteissa ei mitään puutteita. Rantasauna aivan ihana ja oma ranta toi lisää ulottuvuutta oleiluun, ja uimamahdollisuus kesähelteellä oli tervetullut. Oli mukavan viileä nukkua myös helteellä.

We loved our stay at the cabin. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was great to have during our stay! We loved staying a bit further outside of Rovaniemi city center so that we could really get to experience more of the natural wonders that Lapland has to offer. We wish we would have been aware of the smaller hot water tank before booking. This was not a problem this trip but if we were traveling with family and cooking we can see where the limited hot water tank size could be a problem. Overall, we would book this cabin again!

La chalet est très confortable et l'environnement magnifique. Cette vue sur le lac est à couper le souffle et les couchés de soleil inoubliables ! Séjour au calme et balades dans la forêt au départ du chalet très appréciables. Je recommande.

Ihana majoituspaikka rauhallisella sijainnilla! Kaikki oli kuten kuvissa näytetty. Yhteydenpito sujui todella mutkattomasti ja majoittaja oli erittäin avulias. Mielellään majoitutaan uudestaan! Lämmin suositus!
