Do not hesitate to stay at the Blue Lily. It clicks all the boxes for a great stay. Patricia is, indeed, a super host. I speak from much experience: she is available and really wants her clients to have a good stay. I slept on the pull out sofa and it was firm, clean, and unusually comfy for a pull out. My friend enjoyed the bedroom as well. The ambiance throughout is just what you want when visiting such a town. Patricia’s recommendation for restaurants is spot on. I had the best confit de canard at L’Addresse that I’ve ever had in my life—and I’ve eaten a lot of it! It can be stressful to drive in such a town, but Patricia’s suggestions for free parking made our life considerably better. We were there in early April when the tourist season was just beginning and found the apartment able to heat up nicely in the cold. Really, I can’t say enough good things about the place, its location, its comfort and its value. Book it and tell her JoAnn says hi.

We discovered a hidden 💎 gem, this city. It was not easy getting there, long ride, delays but Mary-Bel waited for us. Despite the late check-in she was responsive, extremely friendly. She showed us everything in the house and made sure we were settling properly. Checking on us everyday. Our stay was memorable and incredible. She is the best host have had the pleasure to stay with. 🫶🏾🙏🏾💐

Wow! We loved every minute at Maison des Chanoines. Matilde is an incredible host, the home is beautifully decorated and spacious, the garden is unbelievable, and the location is fantastic. We wish we had more time to spend there. A special part of our stay was the cooking class with Patrice. We went to the market to buy our food and prepared a delicious meal that we enjoyed in the garden. So special! Do not hesitate to book your stay and tell Matilde we say Bon Jour!

We had a pleasant stay at Emmy's house. The house has a lot of character and is ideally located to visit this pretty area! It is located at the entrance to Gluges, a very beautiful little village hanging from the cliffs. Swimming points and canoe bases are very easy to walk from the property. Nearby is also the very pretty medieval town of Martel and the area is full of beautiful walks to do. We enjoyed enjoying the small courtyard in front of the house. Emmy is very responsive and informed us about all the activities we can do. We'd definitely come back and recommend this place:)

Lovely stay in the heart of Sarlat. The apartment retained its historic features but was also modern and comfortable. Location was ideal with plenty of paid parking nearby. Great base to explore the small towns and prehistoric caves of the Dordogne. Our contact Lucie was very responsive and helpful and gave good recommendations. Will stay again next time we’re in the region.

"We did a long term stay with Tyler (1 month) during the Christmas holiday and he was an absolutely exceptional host! He was a clear and timely communicator from the moment we booked until the moment we left. He showed the utmost care and respect for us during our stay and always answered questions we had very quickly. The place is beautifully decorated with unique pieces and antiques. It is absolutely our favorite Airbnb we've ever stayed in. The bed was very comfortable and when the winter sun streamed in the windows, it felt so cozy. The location is on one of the most picturesque streets in Sarlat and is just steps away from everything, the market, the shops, the cathedral, etc... We would stay at Tyler's place again in a heartbeat if we have the good fortune to return to Sarlat in the future. It was a phenomenal experience.”

I sincerely thank Ludovic for his welcome, availability, and advice for grocery stores and restaurants. Especially for a holiday like 01/01/25 he was there. The place is spotless. I was with my two little children, it was perfect in the heart of Sarlat city center. I would highly recommend it. You can trust Ludovic. Another very positive point: there is a garage. A perfect position, a few minutes walk from the historic centre, and easy to come and go from. The home was comfortable with all the amenities we needed for our 4 day stay. We did not meet our hosts, but they were very helpful in sending recommendations for sites and restaurants in the area and very quick to respond to our questions. I would not hesitate to recommend this place as a perfect base for a stay in the Dordogne area.
