Family-friendly vacation rentals in Ferrol

The house is great, very large and cozy. They broke a couple of things but the guy came right away to help us. Very nice. It was quite clean, but not a perfect clean, it was seen in the corners and in things that are not usually cleaned. The upstairs part of the house was very cold. I guess because it wasn't inhabited. It smelled pretty damp. The heater didn't get well upstairs, the second night we had a less cold. There was one room with no door. The upstairs had no blinds, and the curtains were not opaque I had a gas station nearby and the Jaccuzzi is great

We were very comfortable in Tomás's house, it has everything you need and the location is very good, you can walk in a few minutes to the center of the village. The views of the estuary are wonderful when the tide is high. 100% Recommended

I just spent four days with my family and it was amazing. Remedios was charming at all times, she is a ten-star host, she recommended many places to see and eat, she was helpful at all times and the house is beautiful, everything was tidy and clean. It's close to the beach and by car you have several towns nearby that are also 10/15 minutes away. We will definitely be back.

María and her husband José are wonderful, very attentive hosts. Available at any time and very helpful. If fruits are ripe in the garden, the guest gets a portion of them. The view from the window into the garden and beyond to a part of the Ria de Viveiro is beautiful and soothing. And I can only imagine how nice the stay on the terrace must be in warm, sunny weather. During my stay, the weather was sometimes miserable, and I had to imagine the charms of the immediate surroundings in my imagination…María gave valuable tips for excursions, and there were many stimulating conversations with her and her husband José. Thank you very much for everything, María & José.

We booked the place since it was on the route we were taking in the area, the restaurant was closed and we thought of another option to spend the autumn afternoon. Take advantage of the fantastic porch and barbecue to eat, rest and spend the day. A great idea, a very pleasant stay to enjoy a different Sunday.

Beautiful views from the apartment. You could look out to the sea and Tower of Hercules. Walkable distance to old town and amenities a few mins away. Oscar was friendly and helpful with any queries. The apartment was clean and well-furnished. Highly recommend.

We were easily accessible by rental car as a family (8.9 years) with Juan. About 30 minutes from A Coruña airport. Communication with Juan had gone perfectly the days before and he was waiting for us at the house. the house is cute and quiet and for 4 people who like to be outside great. You can eat in the large garden. There is a dining area with awning, as well as pool loungers, a set-up pool, barbecue and just plenty of space. Inside there is everything you need. The bathroom is small with sink toilet and shower without curtain. But that was fine with us. Washing machine and dish washer. Kitchen fully equipped. And best of all: the beach (fine white sand) is within walking distance once around the property, so less than 5 minutes. There are lifeguards, waves and a kind of creek, perfect even for small children. There are also 2 restaurants here. Juan was always available, incredibly friendly and gave great tips. We felt right at home and were able to totally relax. Anytime again. Thank you

The most outstanding location, house and service from the host and his housekeeper. At first it feels isolated but it’s only a short drive from a lot of great beaches, restaurants and supermarkets. Everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We will definitely return, without a doubt.

We had a lovely time at Jose’s place. Beautiful spacious villa and nice pool / outdoor space. 5-6 minutes walk to a beautiful long surf beach with bars and restaurants en route . Many other lovely beaches and walks nearby. Good supermarkets 10 minutes away in Carballo . On the down side was - no hairdryer as advertised and when we used the kettle it fused all the electrics so we had to boil water for drinks in the coffee maker instead or on the stove top . Also very noisy dog next door barked at slightest thing - all afternoon some days and also all through the night on some nights . Not very good for a good nights sleep but not in Jose’s control obviously . The drainage pipe in the sink in the outhouse next to the washing machine was not connected so when I used it to rinse clothes I was soaked as water came out of the bottom. Despite these minor points we had a lovely stay and would definitely go back .

Ana is very friendly and a pleasure to know. Her home is beautiful, and well furnished. The yard is out of this world amazing. Ana is quick to respond, & has wonderful recommendations. We will definitely stay here again and recommend her home to any of our family and friends. It was the perfect location for us.

We had an amazing evening. The house lacks no detail. The very attentive landlords, faced with an unexpected event with the automatic door came right away to fix it. We will definitely repeat!

Ronald was easily accessible and responsive to our requests. He provided complimentary beverages in the fridge along with coffee, and he has the space cleaned every couple of days. Upon departure, we were kindly gifted with a local wine. The views are beyond breathtaking and one has access to the heated pool, tennis courts, and a private beach. We are thankful for the experience.
