My wife and I stayed here for just one night, and were amazed. This place totally exceeded our expectations, it was spotless and was of the highest quality from the towels and bed sheets, to the complimentary snacks and breakfast. It wasn’t just the place itself, but the owners are so lovely and accommodating. We have just got back to Aus after a NZ honeymoon and we have both said that this place and service is better than anywhere we stayed in NZ. We will happily make the 10 hour drive to stay here again.

I booked Merrylee for my wedding weekend and all I can say is that place was absolutely perfect! It made me feel like I was in a movie staying in such an incredible, picturesque, and warm home on my wedding weekend! The lounge with the fireplace was beautiful for watching a movie the night before, the open kitchen space had the perfect lighting for preparations the morning of, and the master bedroom truly made it feel like a honeymoon suite! Clare was so kind and helpful, and we really feel like she helped make our stay for a special occasion even more special! We would love to stay again some time in the future, for some R&R and to be able to enjoy the amazing features of Merrylee even more!

Our second time here and we loved it again- so peaceful and relaxing. We will certainly be back!

We had a pleasant stay here and wished we could’ve stayed longer. The place is clean, spacious, and comfortable. The Wi-Fi was a bit slow, but it’s not a big deal. Everything else, including the location, is perfect. The host was also responsive and friendly, which made the stay even better.
