Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Fenland District

We had a fantastic stay at Roman House! Everything was pristine when we arrived and we were welcomed in in person. The house is fantastic! Ample space and excellent facilities. The children LOVED the cinema room! We had a fantastic evening cooking marshmallows on the fire in the garden. The garden was beautifully done and well equipped. The beds were very comfy and we all slept well.

What an interesting and quirky place to stay! If you want to step back in time with modern amenities then this is the place for you. Cygnet Thatch has a fantastically well-equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms, comfy beds and a huge log fire. A great find:)

Mark was a great host. The property was exactly what we needed for our trip. Plenty of space in the kitchen for cooking and socialising together, good wifi, and the beds were comfortable. Highly recommended. Thanks Mark!

Accommodation actually bigger than I thought...easy parking and shops close by if you don't have a car

A cosy bolthole for two with everything one needs for a leisurely break, including the most comfortable bed we have slept in for a long while. Close to Kings Lynn, which has plenty of places to shop for groceries, plus takeaways and a wonderful traditional cinema. There is also a good pub serving food within the village. To be honest, the outdoor space and garden is so lovely that one could just relax there without ever venturing further. Cressida was very helpful and always responded to queries very quickly.

Beautifully renovated barn with so many personal touches, everything was absolutely perfect. Nicki and Ian were wonderful hosts; warm welcome and everything we needed. Gorgeous setting with cafe and friendly pub within easy walking distance. Loved our stay and hope to return soon. Thank you for sharing your home!

To be honest I don't like leaving the type of review that I'm about to. The reason being that the Roundhouse was so wonderful that what I am about to write may make it harder to book again, as everyone should stay there at least once! The property is even more unique, and beautiful, than it looks in the photos. It may be hundreds of years old but it felt like home the second we walked in through the great, big, front door. All the creature comforts that a couple could need for a short break were there, and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. It has to be said that I think the shower alone was worth the price we paid for the weekend as it was the perfect strength and temperature in a lovely large enclosure. If you ever want to actually leave the property there is a short stroll back along the road to Finchingfield. The village is the definition of picture postcard. There are numerous places to eat but I highly recommend the homemade pizzas at the Finchingfield Lion!!

Lovely little cottage in a beautiful part of the country. The owners have managed to squeeze a lot into this well-equipped little place. Very convenient location for exploring this corner of Norfolk, especially for the nature reserves on the coast.

This was my second time staying here. It's a lovely little apartment, feels really homely. Perfectly clean and has everything you could need. The apartment is very easy to find and check-in to. Adam is a great host, very friendly and fast to respond to messages, he goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect. I will definitely be staying again!

Great little space for my short stay. I was running the Boston marathon so this was perfectly situated within minutes of the start (also meaning you can avoid queuing up for the loo, total bonus), and use the compact little kitchen area to cook up your pre-race food just as you want. Was the perfect space to chill out in.

Savio's apartment is spacious, clean and beautifully decorated which is equipped with the household essentials I need. It is located in a pleasant and quiet neighbourhood and local shops and supermarket are just across the road. Savio is friendly, considerate and responsive host, who ensures I feel at home. Our communication is clear and smooth. I really enjoy my stay and would recommend this place without hesitation.

Steven's apartment was clean and comfortable, everything you required for a pleasant stay. Also Steven went out of his way to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The location was excellent for exploring the area. Would recommend staying there.

Cannot fault these lodges or michelle as a host. Everything was perfect, clean, comfortable and the lodges definitely have that added feel of luxury. Will 100% be returning. Thank you apple tree lodges for a perfect break. Beautiful lodges in a beautiful location.

Our third visit. The accommodation is compact but everything needed is there. Comfy beds. Nice shower. Kitchen area has limited items but enough for our stay. Nice pub grub places not too far away.

What an amazing place to stay, absolutely made up and will be returning.

We were a family of 4 plus a labrador and the home was very spacious and light. The area was quiet and peaceful and as dog walkers, we enjoyed the local nature reserve. I would recommend Marc and his property, because communication was good and the home was spacious and clean, plus it had board games, which we enjoyed playing.

We had a lovely time at Sam's home. Myself and partner stayed with our 11 month baby, 2 year old, and 3 other family members. We all agreed that the good aspects of this home were VERY good and enabled us to have a brilliant time. The garden, pool and outdoor shower were the definite highlights of the stay. Inside the house was clean and the layout and space worked well for all 7 of us. As stated above, certain features of the stay were outstanding which is why we gave it 5 stars but there are a few aspects we felt could really take it to the next level. Not being able to flush toilet paper, electric bin not working, big crack in top landing window, bizarre food left in fridge, freezer and cupboards (beetroot in fridge, cat food in cupboards), door handle broken in downstairs bedroom leading to garden, dishwasher full on arrival, blinds not rolling down/up properly etc All things that are easily sorted and would ensure the same high standard throughout.

We had a wonderful stay at Ivor’s place! The house was spotlessly clean, really well equipped and had everything we needed and more. Sofas and beds comfortable, garden lovely and secure. There was really helpful information from Ivor about everything in the house and the surrounding area. My favourite thing was being so close to the beach that you could hear the sea waves from the garden. Thankyou Ivor - we would very happily stay again and hopefully will one day!

Great value for money. Joy was super responsive and proactive in communicating. The place had lots of space with very comfortable beds. Thoroughly enjoyed our time playing games, cooking and hanging out together.

Shelley’s house is amazing. Could be more perfect. It was the most equipped house I have stayed in. Among the vast variety of glass the the only thing missing were champagne flutes, but we understand these break easily. The beds were super comfortable. The outside table sn chairs were lovely. We had the best weather an were in the garden the majority of the time. So clean and the decor was high end Shelley if you ever consider selling you house please reach out to me as I would love to buy it xx
