Vacation rentals in Fazendas de Almeirim

After a week of hotel stays it was so nice to decompress in a home and do laundry! It was just the 2 of us and the space was much more than enough. A bigger party would be very comfortable. Appreciated the welcome email which included instructions on how to use all the appliances. Request- add in a true American coffee maker. The fact that the home is completely updated added to our comfort level. There are great spaces to relax and we enjoyed what the home offered and loved the showers. This location in Central Portugal is in a sleepy hood. There is a corner market but it doesn’t offer much. Arriving late, we were able to get a few essentials for our first morning such as milk & bananas. The 2 towns we decided to day trip to were Coimbra & Aveiro. Both are approximately 1 hour away. While it was a bit farther than I hoped, it was a nice chance to see the countryside & the A17 is so easy to drive. We were quite impressed with the freeways. Would consider a return with more guests!

The apartment has a perfect view of the sea and invites you to sit outside for a long time in the evening. The apartment was very clean and everything you needed was available. In the area you can do a lot, for example, visit Sintra, Lisbon or Mafra. We were very satisfied and would come back. We recommend this place.

We had a great holiday in this residence. It looked like a piece of paradise. We felt at home and managed to disconnect from the outside world. Everything is very well taken care of and clean. Mr. João was super attentive and allowed us to check in and check out, which allowed us to enjoy even more of the environment. We'll definitely be back in the future. Super recommended.

Wr loved our stay at Laura's place. The space is very well decorated, comfortable and immaculate. We didn't cook during our stay but noticed that the kitchen was very well appointed. The location of the property was ideal - we could reach all of the restaurants within a quick easy walk. Reaching "downtown" was quick via the funicular. We found that area to be fun during the day but it was nice to escape to the slighky more chill upper town in the eve. Laura is an outstanding host. She answered all of our questions and was even super helpful in recommending a spot for a much needed haircut - we have been travelling for a long time! Thank you so much for the great stay. Our only regret us that we didn't stay longer.

A great place to stay! Kitchen is well equipped and the place was super clean and very comfortable. Parking on the other hand is a nightmare you have to park at least 2 streets over. If you have a lot of luggage and a baby it's a pain. But we would stay here again as the space is awesome!.

Cool place with an amazing ocean view! Perfect spot for surfers, with a surf shop right on the first floor offering board and wetsuit rentals. There's also a great restaurant downstairs, making it super convenient to grab a bite after a session in the waves. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay close to the beach with everything you need just steps away!

We had a wonderful week here! Our 5 year old loved the climbing frame, extra toys and of course the heated swimming pool. We loved the peace and quiet, the beautiful surroundings and the view. The house is extremely comfortable and we were made to feel at home right away after a lovely welcome and tour to help us get settled. The fantastic beds (hotel quality) and blackout blinds meant that we all slept really well, especially after long, active days. All of the facilities were of very high quality. The area is beautiful with a range of different beaches to choose from, as well as trips to Lisbon and Sintra easily possible, and the nearby mountains as well. There was also the convenience of a lovely bakery and mini supermarket very close by, as well as fantastic restaurants on the local beaches. A great place to stay, wonderful hosts and a fantastic area. We would highly recommend!!
