Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Fauvillers

Wir haben 3 tolle Tage mit der Familie in der Unterkunft verbracht. Die Lage ist sehr sehr schön und ruhig. Ideal gelegen um spazieren zu gehen und die Ruhe zu genießen. Das Haus ist sehr schön und idyllisch. Besonders das große Fenster im Wohnbereich mit Blick auf den Wald und den Fluß hat uns gut gefallen. Einzig die belgische Mülltrennung hat uns anfangs etwas überfordert, hier wurde jedoch durch ausführliche Anleitungen gut unterstützt. Falls sich die Gelegenheit bietet, kommen wir gerne wieder.

Traumhafte Ferienunterkunft in einem traumhaften Ort. Sowohl wir als auch unser 4-beiniger Begleiter haben uns vom ersten Moment an extrem wohl gefühlt. Ein herzlicher Empfang und als i-Tüpfelchen eine leckere Suppe begrüßten uns. Wunderbare Wanderwege direkt ab der Haustür, eine tolle Terrasse zum Entspannen, ein wunderschöner Kamin zum Aufwärmen. Der Garten ist Hundesicher eingezäunt und wurde gerne und viel genutzt da auch die Auswahl an Terrassenmöbeln mehr als ausreichend ist. Die Betten waren bequem und die Kommunikation mit Patrick hervorragend. Die Umgebung mit ihren zahlreichen Naturschutzgebieten und Wanderwegen hat und verzaubert. Insgesamt einer der schönsten Urlaube. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad. Het is een mooi huisje vlakbij de bossen. Binnen een paar minuten stond je midden in de natuur. Heerlijk! Ook prima uitvalsbasis om Bastogne of grotten te bezoeken. De dagen dat wij er waren was het best fris en guur maar daar had je in de woning geen last van. Goed geïsoleerd en lekker warm. Al met al een aanrader.

Un séjour exceptionnel ! L'accueil a été plus que chaleureux. Patricia, notre hôte, est d'une grande disponibilité et toujours à l'écoute, il suffit de l'appeler en cas de besoin. Le gîte est parfaitement équipé, tout est mis à disposition comme dans un hôtel, voire mieux, et c’est aussi ce qui rend le séjour si magique. On ne manque de rien, tout est pensé pour le confort des voyageurs. La petite terrasse, intime et ensoleillée, est idéale pour se détendre en toute tranquillité. Dès l’arrivée, Patricia propose un livret très complet avec les plus belles balades de la région ainsi que de nombreuses adresses utiles : boulangeries, commerces, restaurants, producteurs locaux... Une adresse que je recommande vivement, les yeux fermés ! 😊

We hebben het ontzettend naar onze zin gehad. De host reageerde direkt en vriendelijk op onze vragen. Super schoon en bedden goed opgemaakt. geweldige tuin. Zeker geschikt voor jonge gezinnen met baby. Kleine feedbackpuntjes: voor reactievere honden is vrij uitzicht op de kipjes en kalkoen wat lastig en door het ontbreken van een deur op zolder is het huisje ons inziens geschikt voor 4 volwassenen. Maar verder chapeau voor alle overige voorzieningen.

Avner was extremely helpful and friendly, allowing us to leave our bags at the house before our check-in time so that we could go explore Spa. The house was pristine and comfortable, with a complete kitchen that allowed us to cook like we were at home. Though we didn't need it, there was a booklet listing the essential facilities in Spa (pharmacy, doctor's office) as well as restaurant suggestions and activities to do around the town, which we found quite thoughtful. Overall, an amazing apartment for a very affordable price!

The arrangement of the apartment, with a view from the living area out onto a balcony and the river beyond, is stunning- you don’t need a TV because there is always something to see! The apartment has everything that you need to be very comfortable. We greatly enjoyed discovering nearby villages on walks. This kept us busy for 4 days with lots left for another visit….

This is a lovely place to use as a base for exploring Wallonia. Namur, Dinant, Liege, Durbuy, even Luxembourg can be day trips from here. The surroundings are beautiful and Gauthier and family are super warm hosts. The breakfast goodies and chocolates provided was a lovely touch. Highly recommend the stay

Bonjour, nous avons passé un excellent séjour ; Tout était parfait , le logement est très agréable , calme et surtout d une parfaite propreté ; Trés bon accueil des hotes , disponible si besoin et discrait merci , nous n hésiterons pas de revenir chantal francis Envoi en cours…

Super schöne, saubere und ordentliche Unterkunft. Ich habe mich wie Zuhause gefühlt. Die Gegend ist etwas langweilig, da muss man etwas fahren, wenn man was unternehmen will. Aber sonst schön ruhig, um dem Stress zu entfliehen.

Afin de m'isoler quelques jours et réviser au calme, loin de la capitale, pour mes examens, l'annonce de David et Nathalie, ainsi que les nombreux commentaires positifs laissés par de précédents voyageurs, m'ont très vite convaincu de louer leur petit appartement dans le Namurois ... et je n'ai pas été déçue lors de mon arrivée ! Tout était comme j'avais pu me l'imaginer et dans un état de propreté impeccable ! David et Nathalie se sont montrés très disponibles et très réactifs quant aux questions que j'avais. L'appartement est très bien fourni en divers équipements tels que lave-vaisselle, taques de cuisson à induction, machine Nespresso pour le petit café du matin, etc. Le nec plus ultra ? Le petit jardin parfaitement isolé et plus que charmant pour se détendre après une dure journée de révision ou pour prendre un petit apéro après une longue journée de balade pour ceux qui y séjournerait lors d'un petit city trip à Namur ! Un petit cocon où l'on se sent immédiatement chez soi !

Very well located near the old town with easy access to the tram making this place ideal for a short weekend visit. The flat was clean and felt newly renovated. Host was responsive and provided good recommendations for food in the area.

Bernard and Marie Gabrielle were fabulous hosts. They were friendly and welcoming yet respectful of the space I was in and they were quiet. Bernard was very kind and helpful when I had an issue (that was unrelated to the rental). The place was well-equipped with more than what was listed. It had everything you could need or want right down to door stoppers and a crab cracker. This was a wonderful stay and a phenomenal deal, in my opinion.

Wir haben ein paar richtig schöne Tage in Marias Ferienwohnung verbracht. Es war eine sehr schöne Auszeit, alles war vorhanden und die Kinder waren sehr gut beschäftigt. Ich kann diese Ferienwohnung hundertprozentig weiterempfehlen und wir freuen uns auf das nächste Mal bei Maria. We spent a few lovely days at Maria's holiday flat. Everything was thought through with a lot of little touches here and there. The kids had loads of fun with the various toys and tractors on offer. I can highly recommended staying there and we can't wait to come visit again :)

We had a truly lovely and memorable experience staying at Marylene’s lovely home. She is a wonderful, generous and welcoming host. Marylene even offered to pick us up and drop us off in her car from the bus station, which was incredibly thoughtful since we had couple of suitcases to lug around. The home is located in a scenic and beautiful spot; we fell in love with it the moment we arrived. It’s cozy and very comfortable for two people for short stays, the space is ideal for one person for longer stays. It’s also accessible on foot to the city centre and there are couple of bikes in her shed that she readily offers for your use. Although we only stayed one night, Marylene’s place made us wish we had more time there, and explore the many walking trails around Malmedy. You can really feel the love and care she’s put into creating such a warm, inviting home. Must stay!

Perfect apartment, responsive host and great kitchen

We had an absolutely delightful stay at Marita’s place. It was bigger than we expected and had recently been remodeled in a very tasteful way. Despite the updates, it still had so much character - it felt like staying in a real home rather than a hotel. Marita is easily one of the most outstanding hosts we’ve encountered in our travels. She made us feel right at home, offered helpful recommendations, and seemed genuinely happy to have us there. We also loved staying in a real part of town rather than the more touristic side of Monschau - it made the experience feel more authentic. We can’t speak highly enough of this place and hope we find ourselves back here someday.
