My family and I enjoyed our stay at Ali’s place. It was very convenient to use both apartments and it felt like being together at home. The location is excellent, just around the corner of Istiklal street, a few minutes away from the famous Galata tower, its a great strategic location for a few nice neighbourhoods as well. The view from the roof top appartement is beautiful. Except for Saturday night it was very quiet. Overall it was a great stay.

We had a wonderful stay. The location of this apartment was great. We were able to walk everywhere for our entire visit. Rifat was very friendly and helpful as well. We were grateful for his assistance with a nighttime check in. Thank you, Rifat!

Perfect stay at Murat’s during our week in Istanbul. The apartment is centrally located, making it easy to access other neighborhoods like Sultanahmet, Cihangir or Taksim either by foot or public transport. Murat was very communicative and flexible, even allowing us to check out 45 mins later. We also appreciated having a washer and dryer to do laundry during our stay. Overall, would definitely recommend Murat’s place. I would stay here again on a future visit to Istanbul.

What an adventure to stay in such a piece of history! Characterful, clean place decorated to care, with 2 small bedrooms, 3 single beds, lounge, basic kitchen and terrace- all tucked well away from everything but still close to everything. Ali is truly a gem, super communicative and ultra helpful with anything we might need. A really sweet human who goes out of his way to make sure you’re happy. A fabulous place for a couple days to tour the wonders of Sultanahmet. Bet it’s even better is summer!

Great place for a solo traveler or duo as well as an extended stay! Spent one month here and felt right at home with everything I needed. 10-15 minute walk to Taksim Square, Istiklal Street. Lots of grocery places nearby. Pretty quiet despite being close to such a busy area! The host was super kind and helpful.

Das Zimmer war perfekt für uns. Wir konnten es vom Flughafen aus sehr einfach mit der U-Bahn erreichen, da es mitten im Zentrum liegt und dennoch ruhig ist. Die Ausstattung ist komfortabel und das Bad sehr sauber. Der kleine Buchladen im Erdgeschoß hat etwas magisch uriges und passt ins Stadtgefühl. Am meisten haben wir uns aber in die wunderschöne, liebevolle Katze verliebt. Sie wachte geheimnisvoll über den Laden und kam abends immer leise miauend vor unsere Tür und fragte um Einlass. Was für ein zauberhaftes Wesen. Wir kommen schon allein der Katze wegen sicher noch einmal wieder. Das habe ich ihr bei der Abreise versprochen. 😂 😍 Absolute Herzensempfehlung - Danke auch für die freundliche und unkomplizierte Konversation.

I contemplated to book because we came as a family 2 adults +1 teen & a kid so size is somewhat matter. Turned out I made a perfect choice ❤️. Yes, it doesn't have a living room, but the main room is properly sized and super comfy (not to mention the beautiful chandelier!). Location wise is the best to explore Galata area, Taksim, old city, all within walking distance (w/ so much to see & eat haha). I recommend Adiguzel 1 minute walk, owned by a very kind gentleman. They serves delicious turkish dishes. Weather was wet & cold during our stay, coming home after a cold day outside was such a relief. I can see that Zeynep put so much effort when renovating the unit. Full marble bathroom with natural olive based soap & shampoo. Pristine clean kitchen w/ every basic thing needed for the stay. There's a beautiful terrace on the 4th fl overlooking Golden Horn & old city. We arrived early in the morning. She let us check in early with no add cost. Thx so much! Highly recommend!

Amazing experience. clean apartment. views of Bosphorous, Hagia Sofia and Blue Mosque. 100 meters from Galata Tower on same level ground. Friendly host. well furnished kitchen. 3 bedroom can accommodate 6 easily. decent size TV lounge. separate dinning room with 6 chairs next to kitchen. 10 min walk to tram station T1 line Karakoy stop. 10 minutes to metro train line Sishane stop. Would love to stay again whenever visited. having said all above, few things to remember for travellers. Apartment is on 3rd floor, 60 steps and no lift. Apartment is next to Galata and whole area is a hill. 10 min walk to tran stop is downhill with stone paved street. easy to go down but could be challenging if you are exhausted on the way back or travelling with prams, little kids or elderly. There is no option to drop off luggage early or leave at premises after check out. Owner suggests leaving luggage at nearby coffee shop after eating from there. we left our luggage at the entrance lobby at our risk.

Es war ein tolles Erlebnis! Wir waren mit der Wohnung sehr zufrieden und würden gerne wieder kommen. Kochmöglichkeiten, tolles Badezimmer, Balkon und wunderschöne Terrasse haben uns besonders gefallen. Wir haben u s sehr wohl gefühlt.

We had a great time in özlems place she was very kind and helpful everything was nearby specially the shop we could buy water only ten meters from the house highly recommend you özlems place.

Апартаменти сподобались, було досить чисто, все що потрібно є - чисті рушники, гелі для душу, сушарка, праска, фен, кухня також повністю укомплектована. Квартира знаходиться на 4 поверсі без ліфту, але ми були до цього готові і це ніяк не вплинуло на наш досвід. Шумоізоляція не дуже добра, чутно сигнали машин та заклик до молитви з мечеті, але ми так багато ходили, що втомлювались і спали дуже добре. Ліжко зручне, подушки мʼякі. Wi-Fi працював чудово, без проблем. В приміщенні було тепло бо є опалення з регулюванням температури. Також є кондиціонер але нам він не знадобився. Дуже дякуємо пані Діані яка дозволила нам залишитись у квартирі після зазначеного часу виїзду так як наш літак був вночі. Власники завжди на звʼязку і готові допомогти. До трамвайної зупинки 10 хв пішки, до цікавих памʼяток 15-20. Поруч є багато кафе та магазинів з продуктами , одягом та сувенірами . Загалом усе сподобалось.

The Airbnb was a great place to stay and the location was perfect. Very walkable to get around and have everything you need in a comfortable distance. The host went above and beyond to accommodate my family and I. He was extremely helpful and responded quickly to any questions, requests, or concerns. I would highly recommend!

We were very kindly received by Latife in her well-located apartment, conveniently situated near Galata Tower and Taksim Square. The accommodation was spacious, well-appointed, and perfectly suited for a group of five. Latife also kindly recommended some great places to eat. I highly recommend it.

it was a wonderful trip! the best accommodation in the best location! the terrace had a view of the sea, a 5-minute walk to a large shopping center. There is a wonderful cafe with breakfasts nearby. the apartment was warm, comfortable, quiet. the beds were comfortable, the bathrooms were large, appliances and dishes - everything you need for a comfortable stay. 300 meters away - Migros and other stores. Simay was a very attentive and kind hostess, she gave us advice, quickly responded to requests, and really helped us out when we forgot our keys) we really want to return to this wonderful house again!

Wir waren für eine Woche Gäste in dieser außergewöhnlichen Wohnung und haben uns dort sehr, sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist zentral in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Galata Turm und bietet fantastische Ausblicke über die Stadt, sowohl tagsüber als auch Nachts. Ein großes Danke an Neriman für die Taxi Arrangements bei unserer An- und Abreise, sowie die Restauranttipps! Wichtig zu wissen: die Wohnung befindet sich im 5. Stock eines historischen Hauses. Es gibt dort keinen Aufzug, was für uns kein Problem war. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

It was a nicely put up space that worked well for us. Felt like home away from home. Very convenient as there were stores to get our basic grocery as well well coffee shops around. The Galata Tower and tram station are also at a walkable distance. The only drawback for us was that one of the WC doors wouldn't latch up and one of the bedrooms did not have a latch from inside but would close only from the outside. These are suggestions so that the owner could take notice and take this immaculate and homely space a notch higher. Overall, we loved the small details and rustic charm of the place. I had an unforgettable stay in the heart of Cihangir, in a peaceful and elegant location. This place is not just an accommodation but truly feels like a second home in Istanbul. Every detail has been meticulously considered: a spacious and comfortable living area, the pleasure of a home cinema experience on a large screen, a bright and quiet neighborhood… Even the bed, pillows, and dryer have been carefully chosen with comfort in mind. For those working remotely, this place is also an excellent choice! There is a dedicated workspace where you can comfortably take care of your business. Sara, made this experience even more special. With her warm hospitality, excellent recommendations about the city, and attention to every detail from check-in to even sharing the local grocery store’s number, she truly made me feel at home. If you are looking for a comfortable, peaceful, and thoughtfully designed home in Istanbul, this is definitely the right place! I will definitely be back!

Wij zijn een gezin van 6 met 4 tiener kids. Wij hebben meer ruimte nodig dan een doorsnee hotelkamer wanneer we meerdere dagen in een stad zijn. Het appartement was op dat vlak super. Het app ligt in een leuke wijk, heel centraal en heeft een fantastisch zicht op de Bosphorus en Aziatische kant. Het app is ruim, heeft 2 slaapkamers met een dubbel bed en 1 slaapkamer met een enkel bedje waar je onderaan nog eens een onderkant kan uittrekken om nog een slaaphelft te maken maar dat zijn erg dunne matrassen. Onze zoon heeft op een matras op de grond geslapen. De staat van het appartement was iets minder dan ik had verwacht. Je ziet schade van vocht, een brandje die er moet geweest zijn, de ramen en deuren naar het terras sluiten wel af maar lijken makkelijk open te breken. Ik had wel een beetje schrik dat men makkelijk via terras binnen kon komen. Toegang tot het app ENKEL via heel veel trappen, meer dan 150. Niet met auto bereikbaar. Heel leuk verblijf maar telkens al die trappen...
