Family-friendly vacation rentals in Faros

My partner and I had such a wonderful week staying at Anna’s. Her place is beautiful and thoughtfully designed with geological elements from the island. She has honored and maintained the original architecture while adding in modern amenities. We loved laying out on the back porch by the mini pool in the afternoons and having breakfast in the private garden. We rented an atv from an agency a block away and used it to explore the beaches, scenic overlooks and fishing villages of the area. We also enjoyed walking around Plaka in the evenings. It’s a truly peaceful setting.

This property is absolutely beautiful and Eleni was very accommodating! Eleni recommended some restaurants and make sure we knew what to expect getting to Milos!

We loved our stay here - amazing views, easy walk to the best beach on Sifnos, great cafes and restaurants. The house is fantastic - well set up, very comfortable and almost brand new. We will be back in 2025!

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Milos! Kiki was always very helpful and responsive when we had any questions. The property was extremely private and it was beautiful. Kiki was extremely accommodating and arranged a transfer from the port to the property. She explained how to use everything and provided delicious snacks in the kitchen for us to enjoy. Highly recommend!

Aris' place is spotless & beautiful. The area is very quiet & peaceful. However, the best part of the stay was Aris himself; he met us at the Airbnb, helped us bring luggage to the room, & gave us a lot of recommendations that were spot on with restaurants, points of interest, etc. Aris is very responsive if you need to reach him. When our AM small ferry to Naxos was cancelled due to weather, I immediately called him to ask him what we should do. His solution was the best, although we had to leave Milos that day to go to Athens & take a larger stable ferry to Naxos the next day. We had to leave Milos within 2 hrs, & Aris arranged for a taxi to pick us up from the airport car rental to bring us to the port. Because of him, we were not in a bind like the dozens we saw at the ferry kiosk who were at a loss, missing the chance to do what we did. While we were frantically packing, I thought I left my passport in a tour van! Aris called them for us, but turns out I had it.

The most beautiful place we have ever stayed at. The private pool and deck with the most breathtaking views imaginable. The whole unit has everything you would need with all high end finishes. A full kitchen, huge shower and amazing soaking tub. Dimetra was so friendly and helpful. She picked us up right from the ferry. The best location ever just a 10 minute walk to all the restaurants, bars, cafes and shops you would need. Also a large beach. Renting a car gets you to beaches and monastery and church of 7 martyrs( a must see) all 20 minutes away. We will always remember our time in Sifnos in the most incredible home ever!

A Dream Oceanfront Stay – Absolute Perfection! Our stay at this villa in Pollonia was beyond exceptional! From the moment we walked in, we were blown away by the spaciousness and elegant design of the home. The villa is beautifully appointed with attention to every detail, blending luxurious comfort with island charm. The best part? The stunning oceanfront views! We spent hours relaxing on the terrace, soaking in the jacuzzi while taking in the panoramic views of the Aegean Sea—it’s pure magic. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the charming town of Pollonia with its fantastic restaurants and peaceful atmosphere. The villa had everything we could need and more, with comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen, and those beautiful windows showcasing the ocean from nearly every room. The host was incredibly accommodating and made sure our stay was seamless. If you’re looking for an unforgettable stay this is it! We can’t wait to return.

Takis and Mika’s house is fantastic!! From the terrace one can enjoy a picture perfect view, that invites you to relax there and take in all the beauty of Ganema bay. Inside there are all amenities one needs and more: coffee machine, dishwasher and washing machine, two comfortable bedrooms, a cosy living room and a fully functional kitchen. The location is great, close to the best beaches on the island and only 15-20 min away from the port. We really enjoyed the privacy and being away from the crowd (even though we had the feeling that Serifos luckily does not get really crowded). As others stated, while Ganema beach can be easily reached on foot, having a car is highly recommended to be able to explore the rest of the island. We met Mika and corresponded with Takis before our arrival, and they were both extremely helpful, quickly responsive, super friendly and gave us many great suggestions on Serifos. We highly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back soon!!

Kimolos is a peaceful and beautiful island and Odigitria’s house was the perfect place to stay. The apartment is well located, spacious and has an amazing terrace with a sea view. If you are staying there, make sure to visit the close by bakery and Geusidéleia restaurant - both offer local and homemade delicacies.

The view and location is excellent , you do need a car but you need transport anyway for the island ! Medusa the closest restaurant was one of the best we found and the most reasonably priced. The accomodation is cute and nicely decorated and very clean - well thought out. Very relaxing and a view that’s amazing ! Mandrakia the little fishing village down the road is charming with a coffee shop plus the local bakery is fab ! We thought we wanted to stay in Polonnia but we are very glad they had no accommodation, as we definetly preferred here. Loved our stay and would return

Beautiful, well-located house with great views between Artemonas and Apollonia. Great bakery, (Veniou), traditional sweets shop (Theodorou) and restaurant (Margarita, where the locals congregate) nearby in Artemonas which is worth exploring! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful accommodation with a wonderful terrace in the most beautiful and authentic village of Serifos. The house has everything you need, it is very clean, it has a beautiful and very enjoyable outdoor space for sunbathing in the morning, eating and enjoying some relaxation. The village is very quiet, what it takes to get away from everyday life but at the same time very close to all the beaches and villages of the island. Francisco is very kind and welcoming, every day he left us something from the garden, some fruit, freshly caught fish... We had a great time! An authentic place that gets into your heart. We'll be back for a longer period. Super recommended.

themis was very friendly and helpful. the village is amazing. the surroundings and the view from the Themis's place breathtaking. the only negative thing worth mentionning is that I had to deal with a lot of backpain because of the mattress. So it's something to consider if you have back problems. it's still worth 5 stars to me for all the positive points and it's worth its value. i recommand.

We just loved, loved, loved our stay in this stylish, beautiful and functional decorated accomodation! So much attention to detail! Especially the little chickens with stone eggs at several places 😁 We had the best welcome ever, warm heartedly greeted with delicious local foods, water and wine, for our anniversary we were celebrating. The cottage is very well equiped, even with umbrella’s to take to the beach. We had perfect weather and also enjoyed the outdoors: the 3 seating areas on the patio, the daybed AND the hammock! The seating area inside is a bit limited. The car has to be parked a few minutes walk to the cottage, with the last 35 meters an uneven walking path, so with heavy suitcases it might be a bit of a challenge. It is a centrally located for the whole of Milos, with stores and restaurants on walking distance. And it is a quiet environment, so good nights sleep, apart from the roosters ;-) So highly recommended!!!

Marilena is a great host, and the location is out of this world! It's on a steep Greek hilltop village with builiding elements in the streets from the ancient world, very authentic. A lot of restaurants and great walking trails from this location. World famous restaurants nearby like Cantina but also affordable cocktails at Kavos Sunrise for just 5,- euro.

This place was absolutely amazing! We stayed here for our honeymoon, but it would be perfect for a family or larger party (we admittedly over did it with there being 4 bedrooms). The view is stunning, the pool was wonderful (and clean), and the area was perfect. Plaka was adorable, quiet, and walkable, we almost didn’t want to leave the area and explore! There is even a beautiful church up the street that is perfect for watching the sunset. Our host was incredible! Elena was friendly, helpful (helped us arrange transfers and even carried our bags!) and was even flexible with our check out time. We would recommend it to anyone!

Wonderful stay as a family of four in Serifos, Great retreat, and had a dreamy week. YOU WILL NEED A VEHICLE IF TOU WANT TO GET ABOUT REGULARLY! Knowing this we booked a car and came and went happily and regularly. Good when it’s windy, lovely when the wind settles, all in all a cracking stay

My family and I had a wonderful stay on Sifnos in the spring and Penny's place was the ideal position from which to take walks along the beautiful trails. The view of olive groves, fields and the sea is fabulous and it's also close to great cafes and restaurants in Artemonas and Apollonia. Penny could not have been more helpful, both before we arrived and during our stay and she was always responsive to my questions. The house is spacious, comfortable and practical, with a large, practical kitchen and comfortable beds and everything was spotlessly clean. Thank you, Penny!

We had a wonderful stay - lovely and spaceous studio, relaxing pool area and spectacular view. Hope to come back!

We enjoyed our stay at the lighthouse hotel. The hotel is consisting of a couple of Apartments and has a really big Swimmingpool. It is very close to the village Faro, but better to have a car or take the bus to get there, since walking at the street could be dangerous. The apartment has a Kitchen, with a minimum of equipment to cook little things but it is not ideal if you want to cook or make breakfast regularly. Anyhow they also serve breakfast at the hotel. We stayed a few days and enjoyed the island a lot. It’s a calm and easy-going place and so is the hotel. Thanks Anthony for hosting us.

What a STUNNER!! Villa Katavati was an amazing place to spend a dreamy week in the Cyclades for our group. Every room was well-appointed and very comfortable, there is lots of outdoor space for all to enjoy, the kitchen was well-supplied for food preparation and serving, and the pool was a welcome respite from the heat. Plus, Sifnos is amazing! We spent half the time exploring the island's many great restaurants and beaches, and the other half at the villa. Konstantinos was a wonderful host and I'd come back here in a heartbeat if I had the chance.

Our 3rd stay in this magical place. The location is incredible, with a great stony beach down the hill. And the new pool is amazing. Really highly recommended.

We really loved our stay, the location was absolutely beautiful and the accomodation was fantastic with great amenities. We loved watching the sunrise every morning and chilling out on the balcony looking out at the water. It was so relaxing and Michail and Kostas were both very helpful throughout our stay, providing a great introduction to the island, good local suggestions and helping out in general. The bar was a lovely place to chill out as well with great drinks! We really loved our stay and would love to come back. So relaxing!
