Family-friendly vacation rentals in Faros

We had a wonderful stay for a few days with our family. The place was very charming and peaceful. The view was even more incredible than in the photos. Highly recommend.

This place is perfect! It’s a very short walk from town so easy to get to all the restaurants but far enough away that sitting on the balconies is extremely peaceful. Every part of the house gets sunshine so it is a lovely oasis to relax. The host was so incredibly helpful in organising transfers, rentals and answering questions we had. Highly recommend!

Beautiful stay! Close to the windmills as advertised. Near everything you could ask for. Just taken back that the upstairs is not for anything taller than 4’10”. The ceilings are very low upstairs. It’s spacious enough for a family of 3.

Annita and her caretakers (Elias and Vali were amazing! On short notice, we needed a place to stay for 3 days in Mykonos and Annita’s home was perfect. Although she was in Asia on holiday she immediately arranged for us to stay. The house, pool, location and view were outstanding! Will want to go back as soon as possible and stay longer! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your home!

We loved our stay at Katerina's villa and immediately felt at home. Just as in the photos, it was tastefully decorated, very clean and the beds and linen were comfortable. We especially loved the stunning views from the terrace. We had two incredibly delicious meals at Apaggio, just down the road. We were there at the end of March when most of the shops and restaurants were closed and the island was preparing for high season. We loved how quiet and peaceful it was. There were no buses yet, so one day we walked to town, wandered the little streets and stopped for a lovely lunch in Little Venice. We also went on a half day tour of the island which was informative, fun and included a delicious lunch at an organic farm. Thank you Katerina for being such a friendly and approachable host and for making sure we had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. ❤️

I don't usually write reviews. I find that in this day and age, you're expected to review every single purchase you ever make, and it gets overwhelming. However, I simply had to review the accommodation. Not only was the room fantastic, comfortable, clean, and homely, Stephanie as a host went above and beyond anything I could have expected. She was in contact before I arrived, checked my ferry arrival time, kept me updated re check on. She was massively helpful when I enquired about hiking trails, scooter hire, food and drink, etc. But one thing stands above all else... I hired a scooter , and stupidly managed to lose the keys. Rather than ring the hire company direct, I called Stephanie, as she had said I can contact her no matter what happens. She went to the hire company, obtained spare keys, and drove to my location to help me out. This level of attention to her guests was phenomenal. As a host, and as accommodation, I cannot recommend Makis Camping highly enough.

Odigitria was great, she responded promptly to our queries and was so helpful in arranging our transfers from and to the port, fantastic as there is only one taxi on the island and when we were there the only bus had broken down! She had also thought of everything you might need, 2 big bottles of water in the fridge ( which was on!) when we arrived, plenty of toilet rolls! a kettle and anti mosquito coils and matches! plus plug in mosquito repellent and tablets! Everything was spotless,the towels fluffy. the aircon was a real lifesaver as was the very effective free standing fan. OK the stairs to the bathroom were steep but there was an excellent handrail to hang onto, so not a problem. The terrace was fab, a great large space to sit in with lovely views. The plants were lovely and very pretty. Finally the house was in a great position,quiet but a just a few minutes walk to the supermarket and tavernas and a short 15 to 20 mins walk to the port. The best house we have ever stayed. Most practical layout ever, most spacious common living areas inside and outside, most comfortable beds ever and best equipped with games, books and more stuff than usually. Highlight not only the quality air conditioning units in every room but the ceiling fans which are more pleasant during night sleep. Perfect location allowing both beach and evening venues easy access. Kostas Place is not just an island house… it is the home that anyone would like to have for the summer !!!

We had an excellent stay at Elisavet. The accommodation was very nice, quiet and clean, and in a very quiet area. We were given good directions to find it in this somewhat isolated area. We were met on arrival by Elisavet's parents, who were very kind and made sure we had everything we needed. We highly recommend this accommodation!

Beautiful view and a close walk to Artemonas and the busses. The location is secluded without any noise. The two houses worked well for us as we were 6 guests. Katarina is very helpful and responsive. She gave us continuous updates on events on the island during our stay. All and all a great experience for us.

We had a very relaxing time as a getaway from the city in this house. we spent a lot of time in the garden, on the beautiful terrace and on the nearby beach. The house has everything and more you need, we slept very well and used the kitchen for a lot of cooking. The communication with the host was very good and she made sure we had a good stay. can recommend and hope to be back soon.

This place was located in a beautiful area with lots of nature surrounding it. Marilena was an incredibly helpful host who always responded quickly and was eager to help. The place itself was clean and cozy. You might have to walk a little to access food/things to do depending on the season you visit, but the walk is beautiful and totally manageable. There is a secluded beach about a 20 minute walk away that was breathtaking. I highly recommend staying with Marilena!

We verbleven 4 dagen in het huis van Yannis en het was heerlijk! Alles wat we nodig hadden was aanwezig. Aangezien we maar met 2 in de woning verbleven hadden we ook ruimte op overschot en kon 1 kamer gebruikt worden om de valiezen open te leggen. Het overdekte terras was een heerlijke plek om te verblijven met zicht op de baai van Kamares . Het was ook heel gemakkelijk om onze scooter aan de woning te parkeren na het rondtoeren op Sifnos. We keren zeker terug !

This place is paradise - we absolutely loved staying here and really hope to return soon! As per the photos the decoration is beautiful and the views absolutely stunning but we were also so comfortable in the house. It had everything we needed and we found it all so easy. The pool was big enough for plenty of fun with 2 young kids and the patio was such a special place to sit and watch the incredible sunset and the goats coming round the hill! Dimitra was an amazing host - she kindly offered to pick us up from the port and also took us back at the end of our stay. She also left wine and breakfast items as a welcome gift so we could relax straight away. She was always on hand with recommendations (including great delivery food to the villa - highly recommend so you can enjoy the sunset!) and if we needed anything. Sifnos itself is gorgeous - we loved Kamares and especially the Italian restaurant Passione Italiana which I think is the best pizza and pasta we’ve had outside of Italy!

Wonderful stay as a family of four in Serifos, Great retreat, and had a dreamy week. YOU WILL NEED A VEHICLE IF TOU WANT TO GET ABOUT REGULARLY! Knowing this we booked a car and came and went happily and regularly. Good when it’s windy, lovely when the wind settles, all in all a cracking stay

My family and I had a wonderful stay on Sifnos in the spring and Penny's place was the ideal position from which to take walks along the beautiful trails. The view of olive groves, fields and the sea is fabulous and it's also close to great cafes and restaurants in Artemonas and Apollonia. Penny could not have been more helpful, both before we arrived and during our stay and she was always responsive to my questions. The house is spacious, comfortable and practical, with a large, practical kitchen and comfortable beds and everything was spotlessly clean. Thank you, Penny!

Unbelievable stay! Highly recommended! We had an absolutely incredible time at this Airbnb. The location is perfect. The views from the property are breathtaking, and the pool is an absolute 10/10! We loved spending time relaxing by the pool, enjoying the pool bar and loved the amazing food they serve – everything was super delicious. What made our stay even more special were the hosts. They were incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We will definitely be coming back!! :)

We enjoyed our stay at the lighthouse hotel. The hotel is consisting of a couple of Apartments and has a really big Swimmingpool. It is very close to the village Faro, but better to have a car or take the bus to get there, since walking at the street could be dangerous. The apartment has a Kitchen, with a minimum of equipment to cook little things but it is not ideal if you want to cook or make breakfast regularly. Anyhow they also serve breakfast at the hotel. We stayed a few days and enjoyed the island a lot. It’s a calm and easy-going place and so is the hotel. Thanks Anthony for hosting us.

La maison est paradisiaque. Une vue imprenable sur les montagnes, une piscine magnifique, les chambres sont très belles. Nous avons adoré notre séjour et n’avons manqué de rien. Les hôtes sont très arrangeants sur les heures d’arrivée et de départ. Merci infiniment!

Το κατάλυμα πληρεί όλες τις προϋποθέσεις. Είναι πολύ καθαρό και περιποιημένο με μεράκι και γούστο. Η περιοχή ήσυχη με εξαιρετική θέα και σημαντικό πλεονέκτημα η ιδιωτικότητα που σου προσφέρει. Ο Φραγκίσκος εξαιρετικός σε όλα και πάντα πρόθυμος να απαντήσει σε οποιαδήποτε ερώτηση και να καλύψει οποιαδήποτε ανάγκη. Σίγουρα θα επέλεγα ξανά αυτό το κατάλυμα για να κάνω ήρεμες και ξεκούραστες διακοπές.

Nous avons passés un super séjour chez Nikos. L’emplacement est idéal et la vue de la maison est incroyable ! Son fils a été très accueillant et très serviable ! Je recommande ++
