Fionnyala's accommodation is beautiful. Quiet, alongside a lovely house and garden. Everything was just right for us, and immaculately clean. It was very well placed to get into the city, with frequent services into Oxford, just a lovely 5 minute walk up the private road. We used a badged guide to see the sights of the Oxford. That was a real treat, and the very best way to get the most out of our time there. It was easy to cycle around - Oxford is made for it. We had a lovely trip out to Abingdon along the river one day and chanced upon a fabulous Social Enterprise Bakery and Coffee shop called Proof. The queue outside the door was a testament to the quality within. Highly recommended.

Apart from the fact that infrastructure and amenity wise this stay was truly satisfying, pleasurable and ensured my need for privacy, what stood out for me was Sue's kind, helpful personality and hosting style. She was flexible with my check in and check out times, was transparent with me about what she can accommodate and what she cannot, and responded to queries in time, which helped me plan well on the fly. I particularly loved conversing with her, when we got a chance to interact during our tea/coffee times. Her worldview, and her approach to why and how she entertains guests, was refreshing and demonstarted to me what makes her an excellent AirBnb host. I am looking forward to staying with her again when I visit next.
