Vacation rentals with beach access in Fão

We stayed with our two young children and enjoyed the beach on the doorstep with easy access to Porto town. Would recommend!

We loved our stay at Gisela's beautiful home. The space was comfortable and had everything we needed for a week long stay. The apartment was a 5 minute walk to the beach and there were numerous places to eat and a great playground within a 10 minute walk. We did have to Uber to get to many places and the traffic did make it 20-30 minutes to downtown Porto, but we loved the quiet of the small town and beach.

absolutely as described paulo was super responsive and very helpful as our luggage hadn’t been delivered and he spoke directly to the transport company don’t do what we did tho and type the street name into google maps as there are 2 streets with the same name. use the link from the airbnb description

Great location, good sized living and sleeping areas, all we needed for a great stay.

David was very kind and friendly, drove to meet us for check in. Apartment had everything we needed and in a lovely part of town. Worth the money, would recommend.

The place is truly a dream. The whole house is super equipped, there is nothing missing in the kitchen and the beds are super comfortable. We had a great stay and were very grateful for the great communication with the owners. The area is really nice and the beach is not only super close, but also very very nice. We'd come back in a heartbeat!

Small house tastefully arranged, and fully equipped. A little something from the host is waiting for you in the kitchen. Its location is ideal for access between the beach, the old town, the surfing and fishing spot of Matosinhos. The neighborhood is quiet but everything is there, supermarket, bars, tearooms, restaurants... There is nothing missing for a great stay. Small downside however due to the humidity and its small smell in the downstairs room, other than that everything is great. We will gladly come back hoping to have better weather and be able to enjoy the small private terrace more fully.

Everything was perfect and with all the amenities explained in the listing. Isabelle has always been responsive to any need. Their lovely and close parents, they made us feel very comfortable.

We are absolutely impressed with the warmth and hospitality of Jorge and Susana! We stayed for 2 weeks and felt completely comfortable! It was spotlessly clean and cozy furnished and lovingly decorated. The bed was so comfy! Jorge and Susana were always available and even left us a few treats on arrival and during the stay. It was also great that we had a separate in the courtyard completely to ourselves. For our two dogs totally great, as they could lie in the sun all day when we were working without having to be afraid that they could run away. In 5 minutes you can walk directly to the huge sandy beach. It was fantastic and we also quickly took the neighbors to heart. Sincere thanks for the great time! We will be back!

A perfect quiet place for a surf retreat on Cabedelo beach. Very close to the beach, with several options for walking trails. Marta is an excellent host. Very friendly, helpful, versatile and proactive. Highly recommended.

Bad weather didn't disturb my calm stay at Aguda's beach. Close to restaurants and the train station (Porto 20min), Aguda is a perfect spot for a rest, with the place right in front of the beach with fully functional facilities (including washing machine). Elisa was very reactive and attentive, which was greatly appreciated.

We booked to stay at Ana’s place at the last minute due to a change of plans and she was very helpful and accommodating. The apartment was spacious, clean and tidy, and Ana’s dad was so welcoming with showing us around and a welcome drink! The kitchen had everything we needed and it was so great having two bathrooms.

The apartment is perfect for a couple or family with small children, for four adults it would be small. It has a good terrace and is right on the beachfront although you can only see the sea down a corner of the terrace. Very quiet and pleasant place with a spectacular beach with restaurants and shops around. The communication with the host was perfect and flexible. Lovely apartment, spacious and well equipped. The river views from the balcony and all the main rooms were stunning. Luis was really helpful with lots of suggestions about eating places and sightseeing. We would definitely stay here again.

Jon and Friederieke were wonderful hosts. They responded in a timely manner and were super helpful. The chocolates on our bed the complimentary drinks was a nice touch for us wear travellers. The apartment was well situated with easy access to the beach, pastry and coffee shops as well as a grocery store. It was a wonderful way to start our vacation. Comfortable apartment with all the basics plus a washer and dryer—much needed after 10 days of travel! Short walk to beach and metro stop. Lidl and Continente close by as well as many small markets. We enjoyed exploring Matosinhos and trying local restaurants and pastelarias. Some great little museums too. Fernando was a kind and patient host who made us feel very welcome. We highly recommend this AirBnb stay.

This place was perfect for our stay. We had a tough time finding this place, roads are very different from where we live. Andrea was great, she met us hopped in the car with us and directed to the place. Wish we had more time to explore the area. Beautiful location, near the water with lots to do. We took the 20 minute bus ride to downtown Porto however opted to take a Bolt back. Highly recommend you to stay at Andrea’s and Ricardo’s place when visiting Porto!

Swimming pool 2 min... beach 5 min... on foot... take away restaurant also Ideal for children because the garden is enclosed and closed.
