Vacation rentals with a fireplace in False Creek

Marilyn was in contact with me from the time I made the reservation until checkout. This is a Basement apartment with plenty of windows and natural light. It had everything I needed for my stay. It felt secure and cozy, it was spring so chili at night outside. I did some light cooking and everything I needed was there. What set the place apart was the enthusiastic responsiveness of the host. I recommend this place without reservations and would book again if in town!

My family and I enjoyed a short stay at the bungalow during spring. It is situated close to the sky train, a local market and lovely places to eat - especially recommend Jam Jar! The place itself was squeaky clean, welcoming and comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with all the essentials and plenty of fluffy towels. I am usually particularly fussy with beds and here I score all the beds 10/10 on comfort. Carlos was fantastic with communication and a pleasure to message with. A+ would stay here again.

Quiet, and super clean. Comfortable accommodations with everything we needed for a quick overnight stay. Great, walkable neighborhood, just a quick block away from a grocery store and a mile walk to Kitsilano Beach. Highly recommended!

Great stay and perfect for 4. The quiet neighborhood was really peaceful. Beautiful townhouse and larger kitchen than expected. It's as pictured (and better!). Taryn was so helpful in advance with answering questions and making great suggestions. We ate at the recommended restaurants multiple times. Cant wait to return.

This was a repeat stay for our family visit and that tells you we love this place! Everything was as expected: comfortable, clean, a great quiet location and a responsive host. Definitely 5 stars.

Normany and Betty were friendly and communicative hosts. Their place was clean and had everything we needed. It's also at a very convenient location, close to many shops. Would recommend to anyone looking to stay in Vancouver!

Gan was friendly, responsive and very communicative! Place was great, comfortable and clean! We appreciated the flexibility and the little welcoming touches of water bottles and slippers was a lovely touch!

John’s place isn’t cheap, when you compare it to the usual basement Airbnb‘s in the area, but it is worth every penny. You get the whole house to yourself, including a beautiful back porch with comfortable seating and a fire pit, and the whole place is roomy and beautiful and well appointed inside and out. I really can’t think of a single thing that we didn’t love. Even the TV worked well and included a number of streaming services. The bathroom is fantastic, the beds are comfy, and the kitchen is well stocked and wonderful. The espresso maker had plenty of pods, and just too many other details to mention here. The more affordable basement apartments we stayed in in the past usually had uncomfortable furniture and beds, tiny bathrooms, and a damp feeling. This gorgeous house is completely the opposite. And I really don’t think it’s expensive for what you get.

Mark’s place was in a fantastic location - close to coffee shops and a variety of restaurants that are in walking distance. The house was spotless and as described. Parking spot available if requested and not being used. Instructions for entry and the stay were clear and reasonable. Home and the surrounding neighborhood had charm. Could not have asked for a better location. Wish most hosts were like Mark. Thanks so much for a great stay!

We feel fortunate to have been able to stay in this North Van apartment. The space is roomy and comfortable and the house manual had some handy recommendations. Also, there is great coffee downstairs. The location is in a super nice neighbourhood community with Lonsdale St within easy walking distance. The host Brad is a very helpful and interesting guy. Highly recommended.

Michael’s place is pretty incredible & makes sense why it’s highly desirable. Such a well thought out apartment design. Modern as in the newest luxury smart home appliances in every room. Petite but beyond cozy. The bunk beds were so cool! The balcony view is top notch & the prime location for Davie Village, right in the epicenter. Secure w/ parking-highly recommend and hope to stay again while in Vancouver

Well-equipped and comfortable unit in a convenient neighbourhood. Ann Marie is a lovely host.

I enjoyed this Airb&b because it had easy access to public transportation, if you wanted to travel around Vancouver whether that was in the North, West, Downtown, or a quick walk. Sylvia-Anne left a folder for us with clear instructions or if we needed anything, she provided food recommendations without me asking and I have to say Andrew’s was 10/10 locals only coffee shop. If I ever go to Vancouver again, I would stay here if there’s availability.

Great location, walking distance to many good restaurants! The second bedroom was a little smaller than expected, but the bed was comfortable. We took Uber from the airport, but we realized that the place was very close to the train station (walking distance), so we took the train to the airport when we left the place. The scenery from the 17th floor was great as well(a little bit scary to sit on the balcony😂)

We had a great stay at Yvonne’s home. It was very clean and organized. Had no issues with check in or check out. The skytrain is located just a few steps away and made transportation around the city stress free. Yvonne was very proactive and friendly with her messages.

Wonderful home in a beautiful neighborhood! Super close walk to the park, and good distance to both downtown and the ferry terminal. Host was flexible with our check-in time so we didn’t have to worry about arriving a few minutes early. Would stay again!

Peaceful Lynn Valley retreat. Comfortable and private, fantastic location. Beautiful surroundings! 10 minute drive to Lonsdale or Mr Seymour. Great spot for adventurers or for a quiet getaway.

Great host great place

Max was a very good host, his place was clean, he was responsive and it was a beautiful and spacious location.

Alice’s house was beautiful inside! Very thoughtfully decorated, the tatami mats were really cool, and there was tons of space! Would definitely book again!

My favorite part about staying with May was the personal touches, such as a welcome sign with my name on it. What was even more touching was the surprise wedding gift (I was staying at the airbnb leading up to my wedding). There are a few tiny details I personally would prefer to be different but upon bringing them to the hosts attention they were receptive and considerate of what I had to say.

good location

We used the house for a wedding. Hosted the brides immediate family and wedding party. Stayed with 13 people and a dog. Lots of space for everyone. Wedding party enjoyed relaxing in hot tub and used pool. House was very clean with plenty of beds plus four very thick fold out mattresses. Sun was excellent to deal with and it was completely contactless service... always responded to messages within minutes. The property is amazing and very quiet and peaceful.
