The Straubinger Volksfest attracts, the Unesco World Heritage Regensburg, skiing or hiking in St. Englmar or on the Arber.

Konzell, 3 km away, belongs to the St. Englmar, but also the Bavarian Forest National Park or the cities of Straubing, Regensburg, Passau are just around the corner.

The Ludwigsplatz in the beautiful historic old town, with its numerous cafés, bars, restaurants, many shopping opportunities and the Jakobbrunnen fountain, is just a 2-minute walk away. The Gäuboden Museum is located in the immediate vicinity. The folk festival of the same name, the “Gäubodenfest”, can be reached in approx. 10 minutes on foot.
