Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Fairfield

We were incredibly grateful to Caleb and his Grandma (who lives at the property and made us feel super welcome). We spent Christmas here as a family and had a lot of extra questions and requests. They accommodated us and made us feel super at home. It is an older facility so it has some quirks and there was some confusion at the beginning on how everything worked but once we figured that out we felt very at home. Be aware that others live on the property so sadly at night there was some extra noise that wasn't always restful or peaceful but other than that we fully enjoyed our time and the space.

Joel’s apartment was exactly what my boys and I needed during our recent trip home to visit family. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious. With street parking available right out front and being located in right off the south side of the town square, we could walk to shops/restaurants on the square or be to my parents in minutes.

This was our second time staying here. Marsha is a great host, she’s available when needed but doesn’t hover. Our unit was cute, comfortable and felt like home.

Very comfortable studio apartment with parking and easy access to restaurants. I will probably stay here again next time.

Lisa’s place was a great stopping point while we were on our way to our family reunion. Beds were comfortable and we recommend Cafe Paradiso for coffee and entertainment, Riverside 3 Family Restaurant for quick inexpensive fare, and Sweet -n- Saucy BBQ for brisket.

Excellent stay, especially for the price. Cute, comfortable and well stocked. Hosts had great communication as well.

Bedroom a bit small but the place was lovely. Very clean, nice bathroom. Very convenient to the Square. Welcoming living area, nice shelf/desk for working with my laptop.

This is a wonderful place to stay and Dixie is amazing. The home is clean and comfortable. Dixie is very responsive, if there are any issues she is working on them as soon as possible. I highly recommend her as a host.

This was a perfect place in an area you don’t find many Airbnb. We didn’t end up bringing our dog but she was okay if we did. We didn’t spend much time there as we were down at family’s house just 10 min away. But it had everything we needed. She was even helpful after we left and left a bag there. Very responsive and beautiful place. Will keep on our list for future visits.

I booked Kelly's listing for my son and his family, who were coming to Ottumwa from the East Coast to visit for the holidays. The location was excellent and the house was set up really well for them. There are lots of large windows, giving much light in the open concept-formatted kitchen/living room. The two large islands gave plenty of seating and counter space. Kelly was very fast to respond to any questions we had. She and Jason went above and beyond to make sure their stay was a success. Her instructions were very thorough. We would absolutely book her place for other family members if and when they would come to Ottumwa to visit.

Great little house in the perfect location. We were able to walk to the park, the movies and several restaurants. It was the perfect home away from home.

This location was great and suited our needs very well. Tony was quick to communicate, the house was clean and spacious and sat on a beautiful lot. There were clear and concise instructions for everything in the house and the local recommendations were much appreciated. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to others looking for a nice quiet stay.

We loved our stay at the Blue bird cottage. The house was nicely decorated and had every amenity we expected—a comfy bed with luxurious bedding, a well appointed kitchen with a Keurig coffee maker, and an exceptionally clean bathroom with hotel quality towels and toiletries. My favorite part of staying in this quaint cottage was having my morning coffee on the screened in porch. We would definitely stay again!

The house was beautifully furnished and well maintained. We enjoyed learning about the rich history of the house and all the amenities. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very clean.
