House 3 Picos

We're a family who fell in love with Pico Island and with Casa 3 Picos. The later, located in Santa Luzia is a 5 mn drive from the airport, 10 mns to São Roque , 15 to Madalena and 30 to Lajes. It's the perfect location for those wanting to tour the island. There is a supermarket and restaurants nearby. The house, a stone building typical of rural Azores, dates to the early 20th century and was fairly run down. This is our project and we are going through it from our home in Lisbon.

We felt comfortable in this property. The outside area has great views and this is where we spent alot of our time when back from touring around the island. Luis is very helpful and responded quickly to any issues we had. Overall a great stay.

Mario and Carla were really kind and sweet, left us local things to try and made us feel at home from the really first moment. The house was clean and really nice to be in. We really suggest this peaceful location for a stay in Pico.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem Haus sehr genossen! Wohnung ist sehr groß und einfach perfekt. Die Aussicht ist fantastisch. Direkt neben der Haustür eine sehr schöner, schwarzer Sandstrand der anderen Touristen nicht sonderlich bekannt ist. Wir haben uns willkommen gefühlt.

Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gemütlich. Vor allem die private Terrasse und der gemeinschaftlich genutzte Garten mit den Tieren und tollen Blick auf den Pico haben uns super gefallen. Maria ist eine äußerst nette Gastgeberin. Zur Begrüßung gab es einen große. Korb mit regionalen Leckereien sowie einen Obstkorb und sogar einen selbstgebackenen Kuchen. So viel Gastfreundschaft erlebt man wirklich selten.

Space inside and beautiful space outside in typical volcanic stone house; view of the ocean and view of the Pico. Just walking around towards the ocean through the "currais" is a rewarding experience. In the house everything is functioning well; very nice and practical bbq.

A stone wall constructed from volcanic rock provides an unobstructed view of the serene ocean. Distant islands are visible on the horizon, framed by a clear blue sky, with soft clouds drifting above the water's surface.

Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war angenehm einfach und freundlich. Beim Empfang wurden viele Infos und Tipps zur Insel gegeben, die wir zeitlich nicht alle nutzen konnten. Essen auf der Terrasse mit Meerblick und Blick auf São Jorge, Sonnenuntergänge auf den Lavaklippen vor dem kleinen Garten am Wasser, tagsüber die Insel erkunden, baden, viel wandern, Wale & Delphine - was will man mehr? - super schlechter Internetzugang - kein Wlan - nur echtes Leben :) Angenehm ruhig. Dringend zu empfehlen: Mietauto und Mückenschutz!

Unseren Urlaub mit Oma und Opa war ein tolles Erlebnis auf der Insel Pico und in dem wundervollen Haus von James. Das Haus mit Pool war unser Favorit in der Auswahl, damit für jeden etwas dabei ist. Aussicht, Badestelle, Pool, gemütliche Rückzugsorte im Haus und davor. Es ist alles da, was man sich wünscht. Nur das Wetter kann man nicht beeinflussen und deshalb haben wir mit dem Montana de Pico noch eine Rechnung offen. Deshalb kommen wir wieder und wenn möglich, sicher zu James.

Wir haben uns an Board von Maresia direkt aehr wohl gefühlt. Sie hat uns überall hin gebracht, wo wir hin wollten, auch wenn sie auf den Cowroads etwas kämpfen musste. Wir hatten eine klare Sternennacht, einen schönen Sonnenaufgang mit Top-Sicht auf Pico, ruhige Abende und schöne Ausflüge. Andresa und Bruno haben uns sehr schön empfangen und hatten eine tolle Überraschung für unsere Flitterwochen vorbereitet. Das war wirklich ein Highlight unserer Reise.

Úžasná lokalita. Přímo v centru, s výhledem na přístav. Ubytování je pohodlné a dobře vybavené. V chladnějších dnech jsme ocenili klimatizaci s možností topení. Pračka a sušička jsou k dispozici ve společných prostorách. Okna z ložnice vedou do celkem rušné ulice.

Всем привет! Мне понравилось, что современные технологии внутри дома создавали комфорт. В начале мая, в дождливый день выручал кондиционер. В квартире было сухо и тепло. Выйдя за дверь можно посидеть за столиком в ухоженном дворе или пройтись к набережной. Насладиться природой, видом на лавовый берег и океаном. Андреа очень дружелюбная. Моментально отвечала на сообщения. Я бы с удовольствием вернулась сюда для отдыха.

Loved the place/location. Would stay there again (and I do intend to visit Horta frequently). Only problem I had was with check in as I had to wait a little while. It was a total miscommunication by both of us. Honest mistake. I recommend this place for anyone wanting a great place in a great location (Central Horta with access to everything).
