Cozy two bedroom home with historic significance

DanielRating, 5 stars1 week ago
A wonderful two nights staying in St Neots for a wedding. This was perfect with short walk to shops and restaurants/bars and free parking nearby. The house was tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. It's was well equipped. Having read reviews we expected the stairs to be awkward. This was fine for us but as others have said would not be great for those with limited mobility or small mobile children. Would def stay again if in the area. Thanks so much.

My family have stayed in this property several times and have found it to be of a consistently high standard. Dominika is a professional, but friendly host. We would recommend this property.

Dawn is the perfect Host . The property has a central location reminiscent of that French logis with creamy white gravel leading to the property within a private garden . She made us so welcome. The location was ideal for visiting St Neots , St Ives , Cambridge. A peaceful village with lots going on . The Royal Oak village pub is the hub . A typical village cosy pub . If you like walking , Hail western then is ideal for exploring the walkways and waterways / rivers . All on the flat , get those bikes out you will enjoy the location .
A welcoming entrance area is visible, featuring a patterned sofa and a wooden sideboard. Light-colored walls are complemented by framed artwork, creating a bright atmosphere. A view of the adjacent room can be seen through an open doorway, enhancing the sense of space.

Annex to the Red House

Beverley was there to give us a friendly welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. The place was exactly as it looked on the pictures and had everything you could need. It was a warm day and the windows had been opened to ensure it was as cool as possible. The instructions provided before check in were clear and answered any questions I might have had. Beverley was quick to respond and we really enjoyed our stay.

The Forge - Annex

Had lovely relaxing few days, very quiet with beautiful gardens. Location is perfect. Lots of great walks from the doorstep and good village pub. John was abroad at time of our last minute booking but he still went out of his way to organise things for us. Accommodation top quality, cosy and homely. Only slight disappointment was that kitchen only had a sink and a fridge with no where to heat up our porridge! Would recommend definitely.
