In the hill in front of the cottage (approx. 10 meters) there is a hot tub with exceptional view and privacy. The town Akureyri is approx. 5 minutes driving, with all services. Over the wintertime the road is not raced but it is possible to ask for it at a cost (appr. ISK 30.000)

Nordic ski tracks are just 25 meters away and two famous ski areas are 15 minutes drive in each direction.

It's located at the roots of the hill of Höfði, close to the shoreline, with a stunning view of the fjord. The nature in the area has a lot to offer, such as seasonal activities including walking trails, hiking, berry picking, horseback riding, snowmobiling, and skiing. Places close by: Akureyri 25 min., Goðafoss 30 min., Mývatn 55 min. and Húsavík 55 min. drive away.
