Wir hatten das Vergnügen, in einer sauberen und großen, geschmackvoll eingerichteten Ferienwohnung zu übernachten. Die Wohnung war äußerst geräumig und sehr gepflegt, was sofort einen positiven Eindruck hinterließ. Die Einrichtung war stilvoll und bot eine angenehme Atmosphäre zum Entspannen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die hervorragende Lage: Die Boote für die Walbeobachtung sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Für den Weg zum Supermarkt wäre aber ein Auto ratsam. Insgesamt waren wir äußerst zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt und können diese Ferienwohnung uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

We had a great stay with Svaevar! Easy to follow instructions in advance about how to get inside the separate and private little apartment and Svaevar was a very friendly and communicative host. The place is lovely and cozy, bathroom clean and modern. It’s not far from the harbor and the local grocery market. Parking provided which was also great. Would gladly stay at Svaevar’s place again.

Die Betten sind wunderbar gemütlich, die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber. Toller Ausblick auf den Strand und die Berge.

Wir hatten ein paar sehr schöne Tage in Siglufjörður. Die Wohnung von Julia hat uns super gefallen und war sehr gemütlich. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt und können es absolut empfehlen.

Superbe appartement spacieux et fonctionnel, très propre et très bien équipé. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet appartement, très calme et idéal pour explorer la région. Maria est très accueillante et nous a fourni toutes les informations pour notre séjour, merci !

A computer glitch deleted our original pre-paid booking at a place which we reserved 5 months prior in Blönduós, and we were scrambling to find lodging. Fortunately, Gunnar was able to accommodate us last-minute at his recently renovated historical home in Sauðárkrókur. The kitchen has modern appliances and the twin mattresses were high quality and comfortable. The house is located walking distance from local restaurants and I enjoyed looking at the fjord from the windows.

You will feel like in your family home. The host is very helpfull and welcoming. 👍

The house is big and there are many beds. But, indeed you need to be aware of the stairs. The place is beautiful, a very good choice for a group of friends.

Great place and Birkir was kind enough to help us find the place early morning when arriving as we had a tough journey. Thank you for your warm hospitality!

The kitchen was well-stocked, clean, and in a good location. However, the pictures of people inside were a bit unsettling, but that’s just a personal preference. The host was responsive and friendly. Highly recommend if you are spending the night in town.

We had a great stay at Helga’s. We had everything that we needed. Helga gave us some great tips for things to do in the local area as well as further afield. The bonus was the northern light show that night.
