Cottage vacation rentals in Exmouth

We wished we could have stayed longer. Lovely cottage and pretty country location. The garden was ideal for a dog as it was safely fenced around. My dog was incredibly happy sniffing around the area when we were outside sitting at the garden table. We didn't have time to use the Jacuzzi although it looked very inviting. Would recommend to other dog owners or walkers alike!

This is such a beautiful place to stay, waking up to bird singing and siting in the garden watching the sunrise was amazing. The house is very homely, and comfortable. The hoist left clear and easy instructions to make life easier. Would stay here again.

The surroundings were lovely and a large enclosed garden was great for the dog and our 3 children. we had many a happy night in the hot tub. Lots of things for the kids to play with. We drove to all the local beaches would say most things are within an hour's drive and would recommend watermouth castle as a day out if you have kids!

Lovely stay at The Nest. Great communication from the host, beautiful home and wonderful location for exactly what we needed. Our only point to note is that the cottage is not where it says on Google & Apple Maps and there is no phone signal in the area. This meant we had to ask people in the village for their help to find the correct location. Using ‘what3words’ or clear directions would maybe be helpful for future guests 😊 Overall a lovely stay and would recommend.

A beautifully kept cottage with plenty to do within walking distance, friendly locals, and an unlimited amount of nature to explore. Ceri and Daniel are great hosts, and clearly care about their guests! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, would highly recommend.

Emma and Kevin were the most friendly and attentive hosts - nothing was too much trouble for them! They provide us with lots of information on the property and local surroundings, recommendations on things to do and checked in whilst we were there to see if there was anything else they could do for us. The property itself is in a quiet and peaceful location with a fantastic pub within walking distance and lots of other things within a short drive. The thought and care that has gone into the house is second to none, with a wood fire, jacuzzi, large bath, comfortable bed and a well stocked kitchen to name just a few of the amazing amenities. We had an wonderful time here and will absolutely look to be back in the not too distance future as we loved it so much!

The cottage was the perfect base from which to explore the local beaches/amenities. We were in perfect, secluded (quiet) countryside with wonderful walking on our doorstep, but still only minutes by car to explore local beach towns. The cottage has a very relaxed and welcoming feel.

Having booked holiday accommodation around the world for decades, we can honestly report that Fish Cottage rates amongst the very best. Blissfully peaceful, extremely well equipped, stacked with books and, served with good broadband, set in a fabulously planted garden and - glory of glories - no TV. Who could conceivably wish for more?

We had a lovely Easter Weekend, with the house ticking all the boxes! It is fully equipped with everything you need and the best distance we’ve ever had to the local pub!! It was about a 25 minute drive to Lyme Regis and a great location for exploring the area! Alison’s communication was extremely quick throughout our stay and the check in was really clear and simple. Would definitely recommend a stay here ☺️

We loved this cottage. It was close to the centre but it’s position made it feel tucked away from the main village. We loved the views and the feeling of spaciousness that looking down across the village gave us. We loved the cosy living room and the log burning effect gas fire was very realistic. The larder was very convenient for extra storage as we cooked every evening we stayed. We hope to come and stay again.

This cottage was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. Kristina's directions were easy to follow, including any information within the cottage. The peaceful setting made for a relaxing break.

Lovely, comfy home, in a fabulous location in mid-Devon, which gave us a great base to visit friends & family in the surrounding area. would highly recommend.

Spotlessly clean hideaway. So peaceful yet minutes walk from the centre of Dawlish. Completely safe walled garden for the dogs. Train station 5min away, great coastal scenery in all directions. Nice walk to Dawlish Warren and plenty of places to eat and drink. 3 generations and suited us all. Would highly recommend.

Cosy cottage. Walking distance to the beach. Lovely welcome pack with even a treat for the fur baby. This was our 3rd visit and we’ll be back!

Communication with Mark was great. The house is really lovely, as described, and the oak extension is great. It is tastefully decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and our 3 year old grandchild slept well in the peace and quiet. Thank you Mark.... we definitely would like to return.

Really lovely place to stay. Very friendly and welcoming. Well setup in cabin and good selection of dvds for wet weather. 4G was fine for us.

Very comfortable stay and both quiet and peaceful. Well equipped, everything worked, a fabulous wood burner (plus electric radiators) along with an ensuite for each bedroom ensured a happy long weekend. Parking for two cars very helpful indeed. My second visit in two years.
