Holiday appartment in Oberammergau

Our flat was renovated in March 2013. You can expect a bright and modern living room with space for up to three people. The kitchenette is equipped with a dish-washer, stove, coffee/espresso maker, micro-wave, kettle, toaster, fridge and sink. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. The bed room is on the first floor and offers a cozy double bed as well as a flat-screen TV with DVD-player. There is also a private terrace attached to the flat, with sunlight for almost the entire day as well as a garden. The house is built entirely of native wood and offers a particularly healthy living comfort. About Oberammergau: The small town of Oberammergau is located in the Bavarian Alps. It hosts the famous Oberammergau Passion Play every ten years. Much of its charme is due to the village's historical colourful houses ('Lüftlmalerei'). But Oberammergau is also an active community: a cinema, a theatre, a few museums and a variety of cafés and restaurants make Oberammergau a nice place to live. You can also easily reach the famous castles of Linderhof and Neuschwanstein (by car it will take you 15 or 45 min respectively to reach the castles). The Ettal Abbey is about 2 miles/4 km from Oberammergau, and you can walk or cycle there. In the winter, the Bavarian Alps are a skiing region. Oberammergau offers ski lifts for amateurs and pros alike. Garmisch-Partenkirchen (20 min by car) is Germany's largest ski ressort. We are member of the Königscard initiative, which means that you will be able to use the swimming pools, ski lifts, museums and many other activities (including boat tours, guided tours in the snow, theatre plays...) in Oberammergau and the entire region (Tirol, Ammergauer Alpen, Blaues Land, Allgäu) for free! There is more information available on the Königscard website which you can easily find with a search engine. This is a great offer for anyone who would like to make the most of their holiday and is entirely for free for you!

We are happy to welcome you as guests in our 1-room apartment on the edge of the forest. The small apartment Waldeck has a well-equipped kitchenette, a dining area with TV, a 1.80 m wide box spring bed and a shower with toilet. WiFi can be used free of charge. The house entrance is at ground level, then you go down a staircase. The apartment, with an 18 sqm terrace and seating furniture, is then also at ground level, as our house is located on the slope. The tourist tax is added to the final price.

The kitchen area features a modern countertop with a black sink and a variety of kitchenware hanging above. A yellow kettle contrasts with the stainless steel appliances, which include a microwave and dishwasher. Large windows offer a view of the outdoors, enhancing natural light.

Very quiet, cozy and stylish apartment by the stream. Old building with wooden and stone floors. New bathroom and new kitchen. A mixture of old and new decorated with a lot of art and culture. In summer you can relax on the partially covered terrace or in the garden in the sun lounger. More than half of the garden is close to nature, with orchids, other wild flowers and grasses. In the cold season you will be greeted with a crackling fire in the stove and supplied with firewood

The apartment is on the 2nd floor with a great balcony. Free parking is available on the street in front of the house. Since we've had a lot of trouble with guests and their four-legged friends lately, unfortunately we don't accept guests with dogs. Thank you for your understanding.

We were there for three nights because we wanted to hike to the Zugspitze and it only took just under 20 minutes by car to get to Garmisch. The apartment is in a great location for this. You have a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains, which also invite you to hike. The apartment was ideal for our short stay:)

Cute little apartment and very quiet. Victoria and Karsten are super nice hosts who always help when you need something.

A thousand thank yous to Ursula for her hospitality. The property is beautifully set into the side of the Oberammergau hills with views of the mountains in one direction and the charming town of Oberammergau in the other. The property is well appointed and spotlessly kept. Ursula will help in any way that she can but will also leave you to your privacy, such a lovely lady. The town is a scenic 20 minute walk away, cable carts also 20 minutes away. There is lots to do for families and children with different level of skill, for those wishing to hike or ski. The local supermarket has lots of bio options and good local meat. I cannot recommend the apartment and the owner enough.

This is a GREAT PLACE to stay for a lovely time in the Ammergau region! Martina’s Dachwohnung is a new construction with great views, comfortable beds and furniture, a well stocked kitchen, and a helpful host. It was perfect for our family of five with easy access to the mountains as well as great bakeries, grocery stores and restaurants. We‘re looking forward to our return!

We loved Carolin's space - specially the nice balcony area with nice views of the mountains. It was extremely clean, made us feel welcome and cozy and had a lot of space to enjoy a comforting day after being on the mountains. Carolin was always very attentive and flexible - it was simply smooth and great. I wish I could have stayed there longer :) will come back
