Very nice and cosy cottage!

We absolutely loved the stay here. The view is amazing!! The house has everything you need, with the heated hot tub as the cherry on top. They thought of everything! There is so much to do and the surroundings are beautiful. Kristin and Erling respond super fast to questions and were very helpful. We definitely want to come back again.

Fantastic family-friendly cabin in beautiful surroundings. We had a wonderful stay in this great cabin! The location is beautiful, with beautiful nature and quiet surroundings – perfect for a relaxing holiday. The cabin was very clean and tidy on arrival, and it was clear that the host attaches great importance to good standards and maintenance. As a family of two adults and three children, we especially appreciated the large selection of toys for the children. It made the stay extra pleasant and relaxing for all of us. The host was very welcoming and responded quickly to all inquiries, which gave us a safe and good experience from start to finish. We highly recommend this cabin!

A cozy, well-designed cabin in the middle of peaceful countryside near Etne. Remote and quiet, with cows grazing nearby and a view that makes you want to stay forever. Simple, beautiful, and just right for a weekend away.

I can only say wow! If you are looking for a quiet, idyllic place without much luxury, this is the place to be. Everything you need is there - except a shower - you can also shower in the village or just use the sink:) We can 100% recommend this place, we will definitely be back.

Gunnlaug is a very caring host. Lovely furnished and very well equipped house with a wonderful view, even more beautiful than in the pictures. Very childfriendly with a nice playroom with kitchen. A fantastic area, we had a lovely time here.

We have had a second stay at the cabin because we liked the location so much. The cabin is cosy, well equipped, spacious and located above Sauda in the mountains. A good spot for Winter and Summer activities. We really liked to come back to the cabin.

We stayed at Jone’s cabin over Christmas and had a fantastic time. Jone was extremely helpful, providing a helpful summary of all relevant information for the cabin and things to do in the neighbourhood. Jone also kindly sourced a Christmas tree which really added an extra special Christmas ambience. The cabin has everything needed for a family, loads of space and a really well equipped kitchen. The views from the cabin are stunning, especially when the sky was blue with snow on the ground. We were a family of 4 and there was massive amounts of space, it could easily accommodate a larger group. Big thanks to Jone for making it such a fantastic stay, we will be back!

A nice and quiet place with many hiking opportunities nearby, and very short distance to Sauda. Malene is a nice and helpful host who gave us great recommendations and tips. Would love to come back 😊 Would highly recommend!

Had a wonderful stay at Geir's. We enjoyed the outdoor terrace and the spaces. Nice to have several spacious bedrooms. The cottage is relatively remote and pay attention to this when planning the trip. That mainly from Skanevik if you go by boat. We walked wonderfully in the area and enjoyed the nice weather. We'd love to come back!

Just wow! And no doubt to recommend. This house is just warm, inviting and cozy. We had some great days at "whistles". The house was perfectly equipped and there was nothing missing. The surroundings were simply beautiful with many opportunities to do something. Hilde and Bent were so super friendly, always responded quickly if you had questions, were super helpful and had some ideas for the area. We can only recommend Skanevik and especially the house to anyone who wants to visit this corner of Norway.

Cozy renovated barn with all the necessary amenities. Cozy atmosphere. Very easy access and immediate proximity to hiking areas, shop, bakery, child-friendly beach and outdoor pool. Convenient location regardless of whether you come by car or public transport. Good bed and shower. Practical written information on site (English and Norwegian). The host responds quickly to questions.

Awesome cabin, helpful host! Walking distance to ski resorts for those who are good on skis! The hill up requires a good car, so listen to the host at that point.

We had a nice stay. Einar is a very friendly helpful host. Get fun tips to do in the area. Accommodation is beautifully located, has all the comforts. We were able to make a good fire on the terrace.
