Grønestøl is a homestead from 1814. The square is beautifully located at the foot of Melderskin, and overlooks the Malmangernuten, Rosendalsbygda and Kvinnheradfjorden. Short way to the Barony and the lovely Renaissance garden. It's a great starting point for mountain hikes. Varied hiking terrain with light trips such as Hattebergsfossen Skålafjell and Myrdalsvatnet. If you want more challenges, Melderskin and Malmangernuten can be recommended.

Another excellent stay in this super Airbnb! Eli-Jorun is the perfect host and we really enjoyed our week! SO many kind touches like Easter sweets for our granddaughter, plenty of toys etc makes this our favourite place to stay when in Sauda. I also got to borrow a mix master and cake tin to bake a birthday cake. Thank you for a fabulous stay and we will be back! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Beautiful house in a great location close to Sauda and the water. Unfortunately, we were unable to use the canoe. The weather wasn't bad. There are more than enough hiking opportunities in the area. Despite the rain, we took a few nice walks. Information is available in the house with good tips. Very friendly host.

The views were stunning and location was convenient for hiking and easily walkable to the village store. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer.

Great location and very nice surrounding. There were odd flies inside the property but it is end of summer and it is in the nature. Lovely Jacuzzi and sauna.

Ingers and Knuts place was just wonderful, the fjord in front of us, kajaks to be rent for free, swimming directly from the house, incredible views, a very kind and hospitable host, a easy accessible sauna, fishing ropes, bicycles, just everything what we needed. Knut welcomed us, showed us around and he and his wife were just always available when we needed something. And the wooden house with its details was just wonderful to live in for a week. We would love to come back!! Thank you so much.
