House vacation rentals in Essex

We had a great time. The view is one of the best we have stayed at. The hosts have thought of almost everything you could need or want to do. Our kids wanted to come back just to do more of the activities. The interior is obviously dated but it is thoughtful, functional, and clean. We felt cozy and at home! We will be back!

Place was great and large enough to accommodate 2 families (9 total people). We were excited to have a place with a pool but didn’t end up using it because it was a little chilly. Neighborhood was quiet and early morning walks were pleasant. Beds were comfortable too.

It was a great stay after a long day roaming around Washington DC and Maryland. The accommodation was clean and nicely decorated with very inspiring words of wisdom providing a cozy and comfortable retreat throughout our stay. Kelly has been very informative and detailed on the instructions to help us on a very smooth check in and check out process. The location was fantastic and quiet neighborhood. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable Airbnb experience!"

Wonderful property with lots of amenities!

I stayed here the week of my wedding and it was absolutely perfect! From waking up each morning to have coffee on the dock with my pups and husband, to the beautiful views from each room in the house, we truly had a lovely time and chose the right Airbnb for such a special week in our lives.

The house is beautiful and worked well for our family. The host was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. The grounds are lovely and very peaceful. Pictures don’t do this property justice.

My stay at this Airbnb was absolutely wonderful! The space was beautifully decorated, clean, and had all the amenities I could have needed. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful from booking to check-out, answering all my questions promptly. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway. To start, Thom was a great host. He has instructions & labels for everything around the house and that itself is so convenient. The home is spacious, & is in very peaceful neighborhood and a great location! I’d recommend and would book again if needed. Not knowing once I booked it was only 6 minutes away from my family who I was visiting. Highly recommend , would definitely book again !

What an amazing experience! This house truly felt like a home. You wouldn't know that it was an Airbnb. It felt like we were staying at a friend's house. The owners were extremely gracious. My wife and I were there for almost two weeks with my elderly parents. I can honestly say that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to making this an annual trip back home to MD. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home.

I’ve been to this location three (3) times now and each time was a pleasure. Communication was great and him allowing a late check out was fantastic (especially with multiple kids, trying to get them ready). I will continue to select this location when we have to come into town for the location, price, communication, and peace of mind knowing exactly what we’ll receive. The only issue with this last stay (and I can only assume it was due to holiday because never happened before) was the trash can being full. I do not suspect this is a regular occurrence as he is very transparent. I’d recommend this place to anyone and again, will be booking multiple times in the future as we will be traveling to MD a lot more.

I stayed at Fannie’s place for the long weekend and it was by far one of the best air b&b experience I’ve had yet. The house is beautiful, I love the furniture, and the house smells so good!! Not to mention they had a cute sign by the kitchen with my name welcoming me, and she went above and beyond having goodies for us!! The area is perfect. It’s not far from the main Baltimore area and there’s so many food places in the area that you can walk to and she had great recommendations as well. The backyard was so beautiful with the lights, the hot tub, and the outdoor room with the TV we really enjoyed our time out there. Fannie is extremely communicative with a fast turn around time, cares about her home, and is extremely helpful. I would 10000000% stay here again I love the area check out the Ethiopian cafe too!! I had a wonderful weekend stay at Erika's house! The house was nice and comfortable and the location was perfect. We walked to both of the restaurants, which were great, and both had playground areas for kids. We used Erika's kayaks to paddle to Pleasure Island which was the highlight of our trip! I would recommend staying here for a fun stay on the water.

Incredible, serene home with thoughtful design and furnishings. Our family loved the house, which served as a great space to gather over meals, games and stories. The deck on two sides of the house, with great seating, provided a gentle welcome to the nature around with harbor views in the distance. As seasoned Eastern Shore folks, this was an introduction to Rock Hall, which we really enjoyed, especially the refuge. Thanks, Lauren, for your insightful planning and attentive care for the house and your guests.

Fabulous hosts! The place was perfect. We attended a music festival and Christina was so kind to offer up chairs, blankets, coolers, etc. Phenomenal hosts!!! Would recommend to anyone... and will.

Lauren is an excellent host. The property was wonderful, clean and suit our needs. The perfect top it off was… there were adequate chips, and fritters - just after we drove in the house.👌 I was a bit hungry, and gave me some time to get my essentials for the stay - which, btw…wasn’t too far. It had a nice walk to the small beach, and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Lastly, Lauren was exceptional with our request for a late check out. Thank you. Definitely a 5 star! We had a great time. Blanca's place was perfect for what we needed. We were there for a Tiger's/Orioles game and the stadium was right across the street, so it was great! The only issue we had was the keypad not working but she made other accommodations so it was no big deal. We would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful place with a lovely spot on the south river. Loved the views and how the space allowed the views to really shine. Comfortable, clean, would stay again if I come back to the area. Very peaceful and what I was hoping for. (And not far to town/other things either!)

We rented this place for my parents 50th anniversary. The place was amazing and fit 5 families comfortably. The house had everything you could have imagined that you needed and then more. The place was off the beaten path and exactly what we were looking for. It was peaceful and quiet. The amenities including life preservers, kayaks, and paddle boards was awesome. We enjoyed a fire every night. I highly recommend this place!

We loved staying here with two dogs, a lab and a golden retriever. We felt right at home the minute we walked in. It was very clean and nicely decorated. We would highly recommend this house.

We had the best time enjoying Jody and Gail's beautiful home! The views were incredible, it was so peaceful, and the house had every amenity we could have wanted. A highlight was kayaking and swimming in the cove right to the side of the home. We cant wait to come back!

Had a great stay at Tiffany and Jack's, with my adult children. The layout provides easy opportunities for both privacy and group activity. We enjoyed setting the crab traps and paddling their very maneuverable kayaks. The house was fully stocked and very comfortable. The location is super close to several convenient stores and gas stations, and Baltimore is easy to access. I would highly recommend staying at Tiffany and Jack's air bnb.
